My table went a little overboard and ordered one of everything from the food truck service at the brewery was, friendly, and efficient. You go up directly to the bar and order and pay. After 4 year of supporting the local brewery through trivia night, running club, new karaoke night and bringing new neighbors, friends and out of town family, we had the strangest and most disappointing experience tonight here. To simplify we were told we don't drink enough beer and we take up too much to much room. Let me explain- After setting up our spot for the weekly trivia night I was excited to go check out the new brews. Right when I walk up I was asked how many or in our party I said "10, 7 adults 3 kids, we're here to play trivia" (like most Thursdays). I was then told by staff "that's a big group that'll probably only buy a few beers, it cost money to have trivia night and pay the host" I was confused due to our group always buying 1 to 2 drinks and support the local food truck. When I came up to order more beer I was again expressed by staff that if they get busier my kids will have to give up there chairs for ppl that want to buy beer. Very Confused again and saddened by the costumers service. This made us pin pointed for having our family there. And killed our family friend's vibe. We finished up trivia quietly and left. At least we wanted to anyways. As I had to leave to take my kids to youth sports, my wife closed out our tab. When she was closing out our bill she was again strongly expressed the group didn't buy enough beer, and it extremely upset her, since I was already told twice. (Her experience in a review below) Unfortunately we left very upset with a unrepairable vibe of this place. Sad to say we won't be back. This is a post COVID-19 review. We've frequented LSBC many times in the past to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and delicious selection of brews - varying from tasty IPAs to creative porters. We have yet to meet a beer of theirs we don't like! When the mood struck to get our usual Friday night libations, we opted to take advantage of their new curbside growler filling service. From the minute we arrived, we received the same excellent service we're used to as well as extra steps to ensure we were served in the most safe, sanitary manner. The team took steps to maintain the required 6 ft distance, sanitized everything before and after we touched and handled our growler with fresh gloves. My wife and I met a couple friends here for brews before heading to dinner. Free parking can be found in the small parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Indoors is small and intimate. There is one TV mounted. Portable AC units were also placed throughout to help ward off the stifling hot summer heat. There is no waiter service so orders are placed at the counter. Due to not having a kitchen, beers are served in disposable plastic cups. I don't care to drink out of plastic cups and disposable cups create unnecessary waste. A glass can be purchased for $5. This brewery is family friendly. Food is not served here; however, on the day of our visit there was a hot dog stand outside. Complimentary pretzels are offered to nibble on while sampling ones' beer. Brewery paraphernalia is also available for purchase. My wife and I each ordered a 16oz pour of Lakeside Blonde and Mindblock Maibock for $6 each. Our beers were tasty, although not tasty enough to warrant a future visit. Went here Friday March 17th and was greeted by a not to friendly or helpful bartender. We asked if they had any Irish beers (it was St. Patrick's day after all) and got a grunt in response. While I was waiting in line for another non Irish beer, I was behind a woman who commented on a dishwasher wanted posting saying she "knew a couple of Mexicans that would do a good job". This was met with a chuckle and a fresh beer. At that point I decided to pay my tab and leave. I will absolutely not return to this place again.. read more

By far the best brewery around. Everyone who works here treats the customers like family. The beer is tasty and priced well. They offer several food trucks throughout the week or you can bring in whatever food you like from surrounding places. Was finally able to stop in and try a couple of their offerings and check out the brewery itself. Its a nice little place but has plenty of seating inside and outside. I enjoyed the big dock ipa nice hoppy beer, wife had the blonde ale which was a little strong for her, she likes coors lite what can I say, but I thought it was delicious. I wish they had food options besides pretzels maybe down the road if they grow and expand. Amazing little addition to the Lake Stevens community! We had a great time even in the winter (visited during Covid) and they have ample propane table heaters which made it cozy and wonderful. You can bring your own food. They also have food truck visit sometimes. Their beer is spot on! The pomegranate cider was filled with great flavor but not too sugary. The peanut butter porter tasted just like that. Their blueberry winter beer was my favorite - a wheat beer with blueberry. My fiancé and brother in law favor strong IPAs and loved one called shugga-something and 'sh*tters full'. We went home with a Lake Steven's bowling shirt, pint glass, and a few growlers too. Came in for trivia night and had a complete blast! The owner (Jason) and his crew were beyond helpful with my many questions about this biweekly event and when I came on my own, he showed me where to sit and who needed someone to join their team. I'm not into beer but they clearly know what they're doing! They have the best names and people kept ordering non stop. When I asked to try the root beer on tap from Diamond Knot brewery in MLT, Jason was kind enough to let me try a small glass at no charge. The location has ample parking but is too small to offer food so they are happy for you to order it in or simply bring your own. This place is kid and dog friendly and I hear they offer foot trucks in the summer. The trivia night was very fun and professional. Some questions were SUPER hard and others not so much. Lake Stevens Brewing Company is a newer brewery that opened up last November. This one kind of flew under my brewery radar until recently but I am glad that I eventually found out about it. Steve and I got the Dark Lager and the Irish Red. Both beers were solid in flavor and were very enjoyable. We also had the Firehouse Honey Amber which had a hint of heated spice which made that particular beer fun. As I said the beers were very enjoyable and the service was good but I am looking for very experimental kinds of brews at breweries and I didn't quite find that here nor did I feel like it was the most memorable kind of beer but despite that it's definitely the better brewery in town. read more

I went to Lake Stevens Brewing for the first time last night. I ended up showing up about an hour earlier than my friends and the beer-tender was super friendly and chatted with me to keep me company until my friends showed up. He was also super knowledgeable about the beer selection that he had and helped find the perfect beer for my mood. I needed something hoppy but also dry, crisp and refreshing. He pointed me in the right direction and I was happy with his recommendation. Trivia Tuesday was a ton of fun! We came in second! I was also impressed with how clean the establishment was. Seems as though its a family friendly and pet establishment as there were kids and dogs everywhere last night. Pretty cool to see that considering I have two girls under the age of 4. read more

My only comment to the owners would be 1) IPAs are terrible. Try making a Belgian Tripple or a hefeweizen for those of us not into drinking Pinesol. Checked out this place not too long ago and it was full on a Friday night. Lots of kids running in and outside so it was chilly with the door opening and shutting. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting this brewing company and would love to return to buy a few kegs! This place was bustling with excited families on a Saturday evening. There are various board games available for all ages, so parents looking for an easy date night with the kids could very easily be accommodated here as they do welcome children. This is worth mentioning as some I'm sure don't want to be around kids, but I didn't mind it at all and quite valued the family atmosphere! The decor is farmhouse-Joanna Gaines-cozy-esque with handcrafted picnic benches to seat groups and a small bar area. The place was extremely clean, including the bathroom! While I'm no beer connoisseur, I found myself enjoying all of the brews I tried (3) and was pleasantly surprised at the crispness of the pear cider. The bartender was also the brewer and owner. I found him to be very pleasant and understanding of my sassy behavior after some cold medicine and a few beers, so kudos to him! This place is sooooo good! I love that you can bring in your own food and enjoy a beer. The Bump n' Rind watermelon beer is perfect for a summer day and the Lake Stevens Blonde is a beautifully crafted blonde beer.
