During that time I had to look for medical care elsewhere and discovered Pacific Medical. My initial contact was with a receptionist (name ?) who was the most pleasant receptionist I believe I've ever met. She was so helpful and arranged an appointment for me to meet a new PCP (Primary Care Physician). She transferred all my medical records from UW Medicine making the process painless. Did I mention the receptionist was so very pleasant? After my initial meeting with my new PCP, I was thoroughly impressed with the staff at Pacific Medical. The medical facility is really close by my apartment, so traveling back and forth is not a problem. Lots of parking, with about half dozen Handicap parking stalls directly out from the front door of the clinic. Perhaps the time spent with negotiations between Aetna & UW Medicine was my good luck.

I was extremely nervous, but once we started talking, he was such a kind and caring man, that my nerves just faded. I felt like he listened to me and we worked out the best possible scenario for my needs. One thing I really appreciate about him is that he sat down and talked with me without typing. Every doctor I have been to in the past types their notes as they talk to me and I don't really feel heard. I am very grateful that I found him and I also want to say how appreciative I am of his nurse, Caroline, for reaching out to me personally the week prior to see how I was doing. I can't remember any prior doctor's office staff reaching out to me like that and she spent a considerable amount of time talking to me. I felt so much better after our chat! I definitely believe Dr. McLaughlin when he says Pac Med puts their patients first.

They gave granddaughter crayons, stickers, coloring sheets & a bottle of water. We had made an appointment, so exam, X-rays & casting was under 2 hours. Brenton, diagnosed & treated her wonderfully. Rolando wrapped/casted her. He kept asking if she was comfortable, what he could do for her, etc. This was such a relief, not having to go to an ER, and not feeling as if we were on an assembly line.

THE LAB HERE GAVE US *CONFIRMED* INCORRECT LAB RESULTS on 2 separate occasions, resulting in my…read morehusband in the ER. We are still stuck with the bill even though THEY CAUSED HIS SYMPTOMS & COULD HAVE KILLED HIM!! The lab on the main floor did not process my husbands labwork correctly, resulting in his cardiologist changing his medications. 36 hours later he was admitted to St Joes ER (also a Franciscan facility) with heart attack symptoms (BP ~210/107, tingling arm, nausea, etc). According to the ER Dr, his admittance into the hospital was a direct result of of the medication changes made by his cardiologist, based on the incorrect lab results. We followed back up with the cardiologist at this location. He admitted his own family had stopped using the lab there, as they were unhappy with results from there as well... Nonetheless, we cautiously had his blood work done a second time, again resulting in incorrect numbers. We then got a 2nd, 3rd & 4th blood draw at 3 other labs not Franciscan labs. It was confirmed his results from that lab were incorrect. We contacted a patient advocate with Franciscan. Concerned that if this lab processed one patients labs incorrectly twice, it was easy to assume it was happening to others. After 4 months of internal investigation, they admitted the same person processed both samples, retraining was done, but we were still liable for the $5000 bill at the ER ($2000 insurance, $3000 out of pocket, $21000 contractually written off). Even though the Drs decisions, based on INCORRECTLY PROCESSED blood samples, almost KILLED him; we are still responsible for the bill to save his life. A bill from the exact same corporation.

Adequate staff at the reception area on the 2nd floor. I have always have had a great experience checking in for my appointments. Received very good customer service from the staff. My personal experience seeing the Nurse Erin and Dr. Garcia have been excellent! They were really attentive to my needs, cared about my well-being and explained what I needed to do for the future to improve my health. Provided great advice and care as well as the required prescriptions.

I told him I know my body. I felt like pneumonia was coming. He heard my lungs and at that time they seemed clear but l'd been on DayQuil/robitossun/allegra all day. But I was coughing all night and I told him. I can't breathe!!!!! It's coming. I need something stronger. This has been my life for 20 years. I know what works. I need prednisone plus strong amoxiclaven. I also needed a strong cough medicine. But no, he said my strep tst was negative and needed nothing but a couple days of prednisone. That was a week ago on Sunday. I told him I have a very weak immune system. I have several immune disorders that require immediate treatment. I know ppl come looking for drugs but I take so much medication for all my illnesses that he should have listened to me. It's been TWENTY YEARS of this. | KNOW MY BODY. but he was dismissive and very condescending. I don't want cocaine or meth. I need a codene based cough med along with prednisone pills and strong antibiotics. Three things that work every year, ONCE A YEAR, EVERY YEAR JUST ONCE A YEAR WHEN I GET PNEUMONIA! YOU KNOW WHERE I AM NOW ????? IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM. With pneumonia. Severe fever and a gargling shallow breathe that could lead to double pneumonia. Which l've had before. Dr Singh is so full of him self. I understand there are drug addicts who ask for hard drugs. I needed real medication. Now I'm taking more time off work. More money out of pocket for a hospital stay. And more suffering from another case of pneumonia. Grown up jerk. Assess your patients better. INSTEAD OF judging them. I'll bring you my ER bill for the lack of better care. It's showing my pneumonia could have been treated sooner if you listen to real patients.

The lady who did the MRI put a pillow under my leg which was helpful, but when it was over she came and just ripped the pillow from under my leg and hurt so much a cried. No apology no help no caring, I had to hold my leg up myself from a lying position until I could actually sit up and somewhat walk. They also do not use the T 7 MRI machines which are not as diagnostic for lesions as the old ones which they use SO seems that their diagnosis isn't much of one, I'm sure there's are a lot of ones who are positive but as I said the MRI cannot see all the lesions especially in the gray matter even the white matter. We are paying all this money for a 100% diagnosis not this. After all these years not using T 7. All health carers should be kind. This lady was not, she was curt, not friendly and definitely not caring that she hurt someone.

All for a 8am phone call from Evette saying they're calling to cancel my appointment because they can't do my echo. So I told her that they were able to do my echo and just couldn't do my vascular. So she talked to a "Tech" and they told her the stuff my doctors want my images for they don't do. So I start getting irritated because bouncing back and forth from dr to dr a couple days a week for a month now is just a lot for anyone. But all I got was "we're canceling your appointment." Then she says the tech said I should just get it done by the same place I'm getting my vascular imagining so it'll be cheaper. Things like this is why a lot of people just don't bother and just live their life. With all of that I called my drs office and told them so I had to wait for a call back so I held in my pee even more. Then they tell me the tech never said they didn't do it but that I should just get it done at the other place. When all I kept saying to them was that they are able to do it and they kept saying they didn't. I really hope that call was being recorded. Thank you for the 8am wake up call to cancel my appt because you guys weren't able to do it. It's great getting 3 hours of sleep to bullshit. And been in the phone or waiting around the phone to see what's going on. Well 6 hours later I'm going to finally get some rest!
