If you like breweries and relaxing outdoors this is a fun stop in Clear Lake. The service is great and there's a good selection of craft beers on tap. Beers we tried were *69- a hoppy IPA and The OG- a light lager. We also drank a number of vodka lemonades. It's great to have a brewery with other drink options for the non-beer drinkers. The outdoor seating is ample and on a Saturday you'll find a number of dogs hanging out with their beer drinking humans. It's a great summer stop in Clear Lake. read more

Cute little place that brews a diverse variety of beers. I stopped by mid-afternoon on a Saturday and found a steady flow of patrons. The taproom is in an old house, so it's not incredibly big, but makes for a tremendous atmosphere. There are a few different seating areas, including a small bar, which results in a cozy environment. They offer flights of 4 beers or the full 10 that they have on tap. I went with a 4-beer flight to try a few, and didn't have any misses. Oreo Speedwagon was the winner of my flight (as expected, as I've previously had it). The servers were inviting and friendly to everyone that came through the doors, and checked in on me just enough so that I felt taken care of. read more

A neighbor of mine brought me an assorted 6-pack of Lake Time's brews. Each was uniquely delicious, but the Red Zeppelin was a fantastic red ale! Just the right amount of sweetness with a slightly hoppy kick. We will certainly be making a trip down to Clear Lake to see what this place is all about! read more

Absolutely amazing brewery. Showed up at 4pm when they opened and the inside was packed by 5. We went with the 10 flight special, which is every beer that they have on tap. Additional beers are offered by the bottle but this way we got to try most of them. Usually one or three are disappointing when you go this route,but we enjoyed every single one! What a spectacular place this is! I came over with a buddy on a lazy Thursday and I was blown away with what we found. It's located just off the center of town in a relatively non-descript house that was apparently an old funeral home. Plenty of seating outside when it's nice and seating for about 30 or so inside, including some legit chairs and couches inside to the left. Simple décor and a chill atmosphere make it homey and create a really nice neighborhoody vibe. The master brewer - Bob - is nothing short of genius with his beer creations. Ranging from light and summery to dark and wintery, there is something for even the most discriminating of beer palate. As a dark beer buy, I tried the Anchor's Away and the Brown Ale. I don't say this lightly, but the Anchor's Away may be the favorite beer I've had this year. An imperial stout that hails with coffee and chocolate notes, but finishes incredibly smooth - this is the beverage of Kings! The Brown was lovely as well, though eclipsed in my mind by the AA. The lemon Weis, Double IPA and Sandy Bottom were all excellent - in fact, one of the most impressive beer lineups I've seen in a long time. As stated, Bob is mixing up some magic in this spot. While there's no kitchen here, they do serve a meat/cheese tray done by a local place that is downright delish! Cheese curds, some peppered salami and cheese twisty pretzels make this a crowd pleaser without the pretentious hype. For $5, it's absolutely worth getting! All said and done, this was some of the best beer I've had in a long time, was a super chill atmosphere and is run by some incredibly nice folks. Stopped here on our way to Kansas City. Really glad we did. They had a really great beer selection and some unique options. I had the limited edition Pumpkin Spice Cappuccino Stout and tried the Octoberfest Vienna Lager, super flavorful and malty. Service was great. We drive to KC a lot so will definitely try this location again! They also sell six packs of most of their beer and have gluten free options! read more

The best beer they have is maybe average at best. The building is cute, great location, but not conducive to a comfortable environment. Loud and very close quarters. The service most of the time has been shotty (unless we've been the only table there). Examples have included taking too long to serve or leaving me with an empty glass too long, while just being plain rude. I've also witnessed what I could assume to be a regular get smashed at the bar and then jump in the car upon departure - a business can be held liable for anything that may happen in that car. Shouldn't we all be good stewards of society? It's unfortunate because Clear Lake could use a place like this but I cannot support, and not only for the less than mediocre service they provide, and questionable patrons. I will also refuse to support because of an incompetent business owner and management. read more

We love to stop at Lake Time Brewery when we come to visit Clear Lake. It has a cool atmosphere with nautical decor and indoor and outdoor seating. My favorite time of year is to go during the winter when the fireplace is going and everything just seems so cozy. Sometimes there is a food truck out front for food! Their beers are sometimes hit or miss, but they've definitely improved over the years. I like to try their limited edition experimental beers, but they do have their standards, which are find. But sometimes with those limited edition beers, you can find something truly delicious. I'd definitely recommend a stop! read more

Lake Time Brewery I say this in all honesty if you can't find a beer you like here you must be a wine drinker. Bob (master brewer) does wonderful beer! I am not going to say your are going to like everything he mixes up but you will find something on menu that you will enjoy. A list of my favorites (I'm a dark beer guy) would include his Imperial Stout .... So GOOD. My favorite of all the stouts in the state. The Porter is 1st rate and some of his variations on the porters such as Coconut Porter and Peanut Butter Porter will have you begging for more. His Brown ale is a solid stable drinkable brown ale that if you had that and nothing else you would be happy. Ok lets say I cant say enough good things about the establishment and the Beer well worth the trip to Clear Lake in its own rite. read more
