Lived here for almost a year now, tried breaking my lease due to them not fixing any issues. Honestly worst experience I've had with renting an apartment. Management are extremely rude and unprofessional. I've had a work order in for over 4 months now and it's still not fixed. They have told me they haven't fixed it because there is no work order open but they keep closing it without fixing the issue. I've been without an AC vent in my restroom for over 4 months. I haven't been able to live in my apartment since July 8 and I still had to pay full months rent for July August and now September. read more

I just received my final bill $489.33 they charged me $240.00 to refurbish bathtub this apartment are old and my bathtub was falling apart didn't know you had to report an old bathtub looks like shit due to its fiberglass and rotten I already left a review on this place. Please do not rent here I can not believe how I was treated on this move it's absolutely unacceptable. Please find a house to rent you are not treated like this I will be filing with the renters association asap . This place is roach invested and there is nothing they can do to get rid of them. Hello, I am a resident in LakeVue Apartments in Clute Texas. I have lived here for 3 years and couldn't stand the infestation and over night pool parties right outside my window (before my new job). I have told management multiple times about my infestation and nothing was ever properly done. The pest person will pile a puddle of poison on top of your personal items in the bathroom and kitchen. I had to replace a hair dryer and a straightener for the damages it has caused to my electric items. I finally got fed up with the lack of help from the management team and had to pay a transfer fee of $200 and an additional $250 deposit on top of the deposit I already paid for living here. The office team told me they could put a washer and dryer into my new apartment and it would be an additional $50 to my monthly bill which we agreed to. The management team would not let me see the new apartment and told me it would be ready August 8. It was not ready. I work overnight 9pm-5am and it made moving very difficult and management wanted me out by Monday morning August 12. I didn't receive my keys until August 9 at 5pm saying that is plenty of time to get everything out of my apartment. After 2 days of moving what I could as a single mom and paying for my old rent and new rent a total of $1,437.32 later they tell me they are not putting a washer and dryer into my apartment. Aside from the infestation from my old apartment I had a new fridge, dishwasher, and a stackable washer and dryer. I was trying to Upgrade my apartment to only go to a place with outdated appliances and No washer and dryer and roaches. In my old apartment I cleaned out the fridge and left two small bags of clothes because I ran out of time while the managers were demanding to get the keys from me or I would be charged for another night. I found out they still charged me "damage fees" for the two small bags of clothes I couldn't get and it seems like the managers are trying to find any way to charge me for the smallest things. They want to charge me for the smallest inconvenience but never want to charge the people who actually trash any area remotely near the dumpsters. Also beware where you step, there's dog feces everywhere! The manager here is never available while assistant manager is unprofessional and unreliable. Jerrica and Jamee were your best manager and assistant manager and Shane was your best maintenance manager. This new crew of people are solely here for the paycheck and lack EVERYTHING else. Maria is the only helpful office lady. Replace everyone else and give Maria a raise for dealing with upper management incompetence/ abuse of power. read more

i signed a lease for a year and had to break it within 3 weeks of me living here due to bed bugs! i went in a talked with andrew and he told me to bring him live bed bugs in order to put in a request for pest control, so i had to go back to the filthy apartment and find the bugs then put them in a container and take them to the front. then on top of that it took 5 days for pest control to come and they tried to blame the bugs on us! i had to search up what a bed bug looked like, i have never had an issue with them. on top of that the pool was always green, neighbors were always arguing and slamming doors, always smelled like marijuana, and i had to leave all my furniture when i left due to it being infested in bed bugs! please do not spend your money on these apartments. read more

The community here is pretty quiet and Jessica is awesome too. The property it self is a bit overpriced and getting things fixed in the apartment is a hassle. They lose Renter's insurance residents turn in and try to charge fees for their mistakes. We've never had a complete closet door in one of the bedrooms since I've moved in last year and on 7/22/2020 I put in a work order for a water leak in the ceiling and nothing has yet to get done. Everything in this apartment is slowly falling apart. I wouldn't recommend anyone moving here. read more

Going On 2 weeks I haven't been able to fix my dry, they keep saying go to the residence portal because they get to you "Faster" BS!! They tell u that to shut you the F*uck up!!! I REGRET LIVING HERE!!! & I barely moved in going on 2 months!!! I work all day & I put on the resident portal that they can come in & some I said to call me & NO INE CALLS YOU!! I JUST NEED MY DRY FIXED!!!!!!!!! I guy came by & looked at it & said well I'll let u know if there's warranty on the dryer to get you a new one, & I haven't heard SH*T BACK!!!!!!!! I've lived here in the Lake Vue apartments in Clute for a few months now. One of the things that I enjoy about living here is how well the maintenance and management departments take care of our needs. Anytime I've had any maintenance issues with any of the equipment in the apartment management and maintenance have been very responsive. I've lived in a lot of apartments and a little bit of everywhere. It is very rare to find an apartment with the style of living for such good equitable rates in this area or most any other area that treats youyou with such respect and courtesy. read more

I moved in on October 7. Since then I have received numerous "Unsigned" violations. Regarding Noise complaints and marijuana odor when we don't smoke Marijuana or have we been loud. The first time I had friends over we got a noise complaint. There was 0 music or obnoxious behavior. We don't even own a tv in our living room.The only person On my side of the building is The leasing agent. By the name of Stephanie Delgado. I feel harrassed and bullied for no reason. I have been honest about things. I pay my rent on time. (I actually pay a little more than what the rent is) I accidentally broke a window, called them about it, was honest. And they still gave me a violation for property damage when I said I claim responsibility for payment. It has been two weeks and my window has yet to be fixed. My roommate is forced to sleep in the living room because it's too cold at night. They came by to fix the window and then said they couldn't because our dogs were lose in the house when, originally, she told us they wouldn't have to come in to fx it. 10/10 would not recommend. I hadn't even moved in yet and they lost my pet deposit (I had the cashier's check receipt), they tried to charge me another 350 for "adminstrative fee's that they had never mentioned before and magically appeared when they couldn't find what they had did with my other deposits, then couldn't tell me what my rent was going to be exactly, (it changed 3 or 4 times). By the time they nickle and dime you, plus 75.00- 90.00 for water, (they don't give each apt a bill they split the building up, so if you're neighbors take a 45 min shower and wash clothes every day you get to pay for it) I decided against moving in and am still waiting (ALMOST 3 MONTHS) on my refunded money. After this week I will be contacting the district attorney's office to file a charge of theft against this horrible, horrible, horrible property. read more

Fuck this place. Worst move i had ever made. Saying i owe 7,000 but got serve papers for 1,000 which i had a payment plan. And then got charged for blinds they claimed to be a blanket which wasnt. Also maintenance is a fucking joke been waiting for my cabinet to be fixed for 2 months now got email saying it was fixed and wasnt. They never answer office phone. Always trying to change subject when you ask about why you owe this much. Do not move here also roaches are so horrible here too. I'd give them zero stars if I could. WORST complex I've ever lived in. WORST management and office ladies. Maintenance never fixes the problems, just throws duct tape over them. My apartment had major ac and mold problems which weren't addressed promptly. My ac unit was so loud and old and broken, a neighbor cut it just to shut it up and I went without AC for days! Parking sucks and rotten trees fall and smash cars in the lot that you have to pay for!! Not to mention they are just old nasty and ugly. In need of major renovation but they are waaaayyy to cheap to ever do that. I highly recommend living in the oaks of flagridge or somewhere newer if you can afford to! Would not recommend at all!!! The front office rarely answers any phone calls. Our apartment is infested with cock roaches. our Neighbor just moved in and said he already had roaches before moving anything in. They won't let you see the apartment before hand and that's why. We have called before and they say they will send someone out but they don't. Maintenance does a poor job also, usually once they fix something it breaks and they have to come back again and again. Please please please don't let the pretty pictures and big smiles from management fool you. 1) don't plan on reliability from maintenance or management. Even before the pandemic the head office was reluctant to answer a phone call and even more less eager to help you. Add Covid-19 and you get constant ignorance and unenthusiastic support. Maintenance is understaffed and under trained. I believe the feral cats around the complex could fix my air conditioner more times than it was. 2) WHY DO I PAY FOR PEST CONTROL? Well, that is a great question.. you pay for pest control monthly at Lake Vue to have your apartment filled with cockroaches and gnats. When you report this to management, it falls on deaf ears.. I have been here for 3 years and have yet to see someone spraying for pests. 3) If you like the Clute police department roaming nearby, Lake Vue is the place for you! Background checks these days must be null and void.. I will leave the rest to your imagination.. 4) LAUNDRY!!!!! A necessary evil in life, we all must wash our clothes. Well, at lake Vue, you better pick the right time. In a national coin shortage it costs $1.50 per load.. on top of that you're playing Russian Roulette with a machine that works. Approximately 60% of the machines don't work, but don't worry... The hard working/ half drunk maintenance team is on it. 5) If you like to look at ducks... you can pay an extra $100/ month to have a "Lake Vue" 6) Electricity... Fortunately for everyone reading this post, you have access to some device powered by electricity. That wont last long at the Lake Vue apartments. I had 13 plug-in locations in my apartment, 26 total plugs. 10 of those are actually functional. The rest just fall out of the wall. 7) ^^^ Expect high electricity bills... although the new blue and tan make-up on the exterior was a nice touch, the ever-decaying insulation in the walls provides very little cold/heat retention inside the units. Especially if you have and apartment facing afternoon sun. Recommendations: - Don't live here. - If you choose to live here, read the following; - Replace the shower head - Buy RAID or Bengal for the pests - Work any OT you can for the extra energy costs - Keep a 9mm close - Find a friend that has A LOT of coins for laundry - Don't live here (I made the mistake.. don't follow my example) read more
