All services: electrical (30&50 amp), water and waste worked without flaw. Wi-Fi is free and band width is very good. Jim and his son provided us a picnic table without asking. 8 spots are pull through, with 4 designed as back-in access. Propane is available upon request. Located minutes away are some of our favorite Waco locations. The Homestead Heritage community is a must see. Be sure to have breakfast at Cafe Homestead. Cameron park has miles of biking trails and family play areas. If you're into antiquing, there's more than a dozen stores to visit in the downtown area. Be sure to call ahead for reservations. The RV lots and cabins do fill up fast during peak season.

Evidently, they are making it even better because it's under construction. There are covered picnic areas and access to the lake. The dam sits in the distance. There are also two camping loops that we discovered. We toured the West Loop one. It is well kept up and gorgeous. Each site we saw had covered picnic areas. Some pads weren't quite level and others were. There were also sites right on the lake. Of course, that could be windy at times or a perfect location for launching your kayak. We loved this park. It's well maintained and gorgeous.

There is a nice curve at the entrance that will do a lot to help slow people down. There is very little cover so if it's hot, you're not going to find shade for a nap. I did not see any signs prohibiting overnight parking so if you're tired, don't drive sleepy and stop here. We did not go inside for the restrooms.
