Summerly Community Park playground has lots of shade! This is probably the shadiest (in a good way)…read moreplayground that I've ever visited, and I've visited many playgrounds. There are big canopies that tower over the playground equipment, which was a relief on the hot 90-degree day that we visited. The shade keeps the equipment cool, so kids can actually enjoy it. There are separate jungle gyms for young kids/toddlers and older kids. There are little spinny seats to spin on, tunnels, slides, caves, and lots of areas to climb and parkour. I would say that this playground skews a little on the young side. Kids 10 and younger would probably enjoy this the most. This park also has multiple baseball fields (two major and two minor league), a dog park, a huge skate park and lots of parking. This is a neat community park in Lake Elsinore.

They spent approximately $240,000 redoing the pool and Jacuzzi making the Jacuzzi twice as large. You can't really tell much difference other than that. Every third time I go to the Jacuzzi, it isn't working and I've complained over and over again and only get a lot of Nothing. They need to change the way they turn the Jacuzzi on because the fob system is fallible and constantly breaks down. I've told this to them over and over again for five years and they do nothing about it. I'm wondering why they didn't add another Jacuzzi to the other pool so that if one broke down residence could go to the other whoever's planning Everything here doesn't know what they're doing. They are probably sick of me complaining, but I don't care I pay my dues on time every month, but I'm not getting the value out of it.

We went on St. Patrick's Day, and they had a fun extra activity for the kids along with supplies they could take home. That was a really thoughtful touch and made the visit feel a little more special. The open layout is another big plus. No matter where you sit, you have a clear view of your child, which gives you some peace of mind while they play. The dining area is tucked off to the side, so it doesn't take away from the play space but is still convenient. Overall, it's a great indoor spot for families--clean, well-managed, and clearly designed with both kids and parents in mind.

While I understand that businesses…read morecan't control every child's behavior, I was disappointed by the lack of supervision and staff presence in the play areas. During our visit, there were multiple incidents where older children were acting aggressively toward younger kids. In one case, a child who appeared to be around 6 years old shoved my 2-year-old son in the face hard enough to knock him down and make him cry. While the child's parent addressed her own child, I never saw any staff member monitoring the area or stepping in to help de-escalate the situation. I don't expect employees to babysit children, but in a busy indoor play facility there should be some level of active oversight to help ensure younger children can play safely. The environment felt more like a free-for-all than a supervised family play space. Our son recovered quickly, but the experience left us disappointed and uncomfortable. We likely won't be returning unless there is a greater staff presence in the play areas.

There is a huge grass field to the left of this picture and plenty of shaded tables to the right of the pictured area. There is a bathroom available but it is porta-potty style. The park is well kept and always clean. Due to the amount of mature trees in this park there is always plenty of shade no matter what time of day you are here. I can see this being great for parties but keep in mind it's street parking so it is limited on the amount of cars that'll fit. There are slides for all age groups as well as climbing areas for all difficulty levels. The disk swing in the center is a huge hit with all the kids and when more than a couple families are here there is always a line for it. One nice thing I have noticed, usually you can hear frogs chirping in the bushes. It's a really cool sound that makes you feel far outside the city and is really enjoyable:) Come check this park out for yourself, it'll quickly become a favorite!!
