Yes while the apartments are spacious and the natural lighting is great on the third level, you still WON'T get exactly what you're paying for. The internet is absolutely terrible in building14!!! So if you work from home, don't count on being able to. White appliances and not even a microwave is provided, so be prepared to NOT have one. No upgrades in the unit, only on the outside. There are just so many things they could upgrade but choose not too, starting with the old carpet, appliances, and tile floor in the kitchen and bathrooms. It's 2023 and they don't seem to care while still going up on the price! I cannot wait to move!!!! **UPDATE: Internet has been updated and I haven't had anymore issues! I put in an application to live there. 3 days roll by. I called to check the status on my app. because I had t heard from anyone. One person said they couldn't find my app. ( mind you I paid for it). Gave it another day and called second person said they are in the process of running it. Large groups of men and up to 30 children running, screaming, laughing, yelling, riding bikes in parking lot by the clubhouse. Daily from 730-930 pm. This used to be a quieter time. Love our apartment! We have had nothing but a great experiance, office staff is extremely nice! The only thing we ever were slightly frustrated at was our move in date was pushed back one day but truly it wasn't a big deal for us! All utilities are included besides electric, our unit was clean, well maintenence and our neighbors are quiet! You also get a washer and dryer IN your unit and do not have to haul your laundry anywhere! We love Lake Pointe! We have noticed that some other tenants do not pick up their animals feces ( and that the poop is like half the size our our dog so it's clear that weight limit isn't enforced) but the apartments cannot help that, they leave bags out for people to pick it up, people are just lazy! We have had a great experiance so far at Lake pointe, keep it up! read more

I do enjoy this complex but disappointed that there are no surveillance cameras outside. my car was stolen a month ago right outside my apartment (it was locked) & after talking with the cops, they asked me to call for camera footage. I called the office and was told it had to be bad enough for corporate to install cameras. I hope my car being stolen made it bad enough of a reason to have them. as far as I know, they aren't installed. read more

Absolutely worst customer service whenever anything related to the internet goes out. They have some sort of "ISP" called "CCI" that does nothing but remote tech support. They'll take your complaint, throw it in a trash bin with a ticket number and nothing gets done. Then they send people out who aren't even qualified to fix internet issues because the company itself (Edward Rose & Sons) is too cheap and lazy to hire people who are actually qualified internet technicians. The people they send out are the same people that would fix your plumbing and appliances. We have an internet outage that was reported on Friday afternoon, and we're told that the home office can't send anybody out to fix it until MONDAY. Home office is 4 hours and 20 minutes away, but because it happened on a Friday, everyone gets to stay at home comfy with their internet over the weekend while the rest of us just have to deal with it. We've had internet issues ALL month, and the best thing we got was a $25 credit for our issues. Some of us rely on this as a source of income, and we can't just wait until Monday to have the issue resolved. SEND THE TECHNICIANS TODAY. read more

While the complex appears to be very nice from the outside, these apartment are built horribly. I am the first resident to live in my unit and have already experienced water damage, a broker furnace/AC unit, and other various maintenance issues. The staff is unprofessionally dressed 95% of the time, and the property manager is very rude. He doesn't respect his tenants and talks down to those who call in with maintenance issues. For the area of town this complex is located in I feel the rent is overpriced. They are taking advantage of the fact that TQL is only a 5 minute drive and up the rent. This side of town doesn't offer much for tenants to do. While the pool is very nice, their gym had cheap equipment that is always breaking. read more

I've lived here for a few years now. For the money you pay you get a nice place. The pool is beautiful (though they did have an issue with the pool last year they did extend the days the pool was opened later in the season due to the delay). The club house is very pretty and has events during the year. Though this apartment hasn't come without issues over the years I will say that the maintenance staff and office manager do care about the community and it's tenants and they do try their best to make everything right. We had an issue with a creaking ceiling and noisy neighbors but the office staff went above and beyond helping us relocate to a different building. Our new building is great! I will agree though the internet here isn't really that good. We have recently switched to Cincinnati Bell and only noticed a very slight improvement. The Cincinnati Bell website said they can't 'hook up' faster internet over 30mbps due to the apartment complex we live in. We were at 15mbps (before Cincinnati Bell. Just going with the internet we got through the apartment complex) which I found out when I called the tech help line was 'unusually slow'. There was really no permanent fix so we switched to Cincinnati Bell. If there would be anything that i'd encourage the apartment complex to work on is the internet speed. With how pretty this area is and the amenities, good quality internet speed should be a part of this community since so many depend on the internet. read more

We lived here for three years and absolutely loved it. We would've been happy to spend many more years here but we decided to buy a house. It's very family friendly and feels safe. People are always walking around the neighborhood. The inside of the apartment is spacious and maintenance is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. read more

Decent place for the money, but the Internet goes out more than a 3rd world country. They need to work with a different internet supplier. Internet in the community is max 30mbps, and I'm lucky to get 15mbps plugged directly into the router. I have had a lot of issues with maintenance in the past but most of the old staff is gone and the new guys are a lot better. My rating last year would have probably been a 1, so significant improvement. read more

Pathetic. Management is not professional and has no business holding position. I had a roof leak that was neglected until I had to contact corporate. Took two weeks to get my application processed with me calling continuously because they really don't process your app until they have a unit available but they will take your money right aqay to keep you holding. Took this as a bad sign and looked elsewhere. Dont really think thigh high black leather boots are appropriate attire for office staff either. Was actually my first impression and normally I could care less but felt really inappropriate. read more

I pride myself on giving good reviews and Im pretty fair. But..For 4 years we stayed here in 3 different apartments. We liked the community and the apartments. But the downfall is the staff needs serious client care training. Not sure if the overall client experience efforts comes from their corporate office's direction or the individuals in the office but please.. BEWARE! I would rather stay in a crappy place than EVER sign another lease here. The rudeness is intollerable. Ps..do not spill a drop of coffee on the carpet or hang any pictures or you will only get a third of your deposit back, if that. Go somewhere else. read more

Great place for the price but management and maintenance blows. Luckily, I don't have a lot of maintenance issues I have to deal with but when they do occur things usually become worse. For example, my fridge stopped working one day. I had called to get it replaced and/or fixed. The maintenance had come and replaced the fridge but left dings in the wall, my hand towel was missing from the kitchen (which I later discovered they had used to clean up the floor and threw it soaking wet in my laundry room), decorations I had around the fridge were broken, and there were show marks on the floor (they obviously didn't use shoe coverings). I was very mad and frustrated at this and reported it to the front office. Now my significant other and I have to plan to work from home or take the day off whenever they schedule annual maintenances because something always goes wrong. Case in point, this time my toilet had had another issue where you manually have to push the handle back upwards. In addition, in the previous year the office had asked us to remove wreaths, mats, and such from our door areas because they would be power washing the building. This year, they did not ask us this and told us that they would be power washing. I called the front office to ask if we should remove the wreaths and mats like last year and she had said no because they were just doing the exterior of the building. Guess what didn't happen? Now my $30 wreath is ruined and my neighbors mat was thrown against my door. Luckily the apartments themselves are nice and rent includes everything otherwise I would be out a lot sooner. I've been here 2 years now and in the process of looking for a condo instead. This place will do for now but if you have the money, go elsewhere. read more

All those useless females in that office should be fired because they don't know how to handle customers, they don't know how to handle your queries, they don't know how to act professional, they don't know how to handle your info. in a confidential manner, they'd ask your personal info. out loud in front of everybody, they will hang up on you if they can't handle your request. nobody will respond to your emails. After living here 1 year we are ecstatic that our lease is finally ending and we can leave. The only positive that I have to say about this place is that it looks nice because it's new. The buildings were built cheap. There is a 1 inch gap between the bottom of our back door and the ground allowing all kinds of pests to enter. We have mentioned this to the office numerous times to no avail. Our patio furniture has been stolen, we've been woken up countless times in the middle of the night by loud and unruly neighbors, and the power goes out almost as much as it stays on. Not to mention my car has been keyed and my someone tried to break into my work vehicle. Worst of all, when these concerns are voiced with management, nothing gets resolved. We believe part of the problem lies with the close proximity to Eastgate Woods (whose reputation we were unaware of at the time we moved in). They allow just about anyone to move in and it shows. In the end, I really feel its a shame this place has fallen so far so fast. Many of our neighbors feel the same way and are planning on leaving as well. If you want a respectable, quiet peaceful community, this is not the place for you. read more

Let's see, starting our 1 year stay at Lakepointe apartments we had a flea infestation that started before we moved in. We were informed that 1 person had lived there before us and did not have any animals. How do they explain all the cat hair in the carpet, the small holes in the screen door, oh and the flea infestation! It took an entire month to remove all the fleas. We had to clean all of our belongings and clothes after 4 treatments all over the carpet. Our apartment was unlivable for an entire month therefore we wrote a letter asking for rent free for a month. Instead we were only offered $200 off which in my opinion does not make up for all we had gone through. On top of all this, our dryer had not been working correctly the whole time. We would run our dryer over and over and our clothes would not get dry. We were informed that there was no outside exhaust installed. We were not reimbursed for all the electricity we had wasted drying our clothes over and over again. When it came summer and we started using our air, the apartment would not cool down. The air would just run and run and run. Again maintenance leaves a note that said "air unit not installed properly." This problem caused our electricity bill to double, then triple. We were not reimbursed this time either. On another instance, we were getting maintenance done at our apartment while we were gone. At this time we were watching dogs for a friend. Two employees came to the pool area where we were and made it known to the public that we needed to go remove our dogs immediately. I get it, it was our bad that we had dogs in our apartment, but we were unaware of this rule. However...TWO employees did not need to come and publicly yell at us to remove the dogs we were watching. So that was strike 1. Strike 2 was when we temporarily left our trash outside of our front door. I have seen every single neighbor of mine do this, therefore no one knows it is a rule. So, after 3 warnings you get evicted. This was our first apartment and we were almost evicted for things that we had no idea we were doing wrong. Keep in mind we had only lived there for one year. In addition to all of this, we loved leaving our back door open to let air in, but every 10 minutes we had to shut it because every neighbor smoked on their back porches and the smell would fill our whole apartment. Our bathroom also smelled like weed from the air vents connecting to the apartment below us. We did enjoy our apartment, besides all the appliances being installed incorrectly, and it was a beautiful place, we just had a really bad experience. read more
