Let's start at the beginning, there was a LOT FULL sign at the entrance, not blocking at all & I saw no attendant there bringing cars in from other lot or anything so I wasn't going to trust that, I slowly pulled in & surprisingly found ONE singular spot open right in front! I wasn't sure if it was a walkway to the front but the line wrapped around the next 3-4 spots so I knew I wouldn't be in any way. I got all my recycling in the first two wired bins I could snag near me, it wasn't until I was in line that I noticed a small sign, not even near the empty cans, that described what materials they wanted placed in specific bins. (There's wired & blue plastic ones) I don't believe I followed what they wanted exactly but they still took my materials! So that's good. I had a broken beaker in my glass & mentioned it to the gentleman doing the weighing & he told me they'd take it I'm fine! I watched as he weighed out my minimal amount of materials & then wrote me out a receipt of sorts. I got to the front, the lady on the right took my clipboard & then said the lady on the left will give me my cash. NOW, I had read Yelp reviews on this place before going & a person said a lady fitting this one's description had jipped her $10 ! Off of a $65 total! Insane! So I made sure to check my money before even turning around to leave, I could tell my amount was $11 & I flipped up the 10 & said politely, "this is only $10, I'm supposed to have $11?" She got flustered & apologized while digging out another dollar for me. I'm glad I read reviews bc I might've walked off & got in my car before realizing, then probably would've been too scared to say something! So that lady being a serial jipper & the state of the parking lot, potholes & no attendant are the reasons for stars knocked off! This place is so far east in Fairfield I might as well just go to VacaRecyling, I enjoyed that place!

Every week they come up with an excuse to NOT pick up the trash. They complain about 'planter…read moreboxes'. I HAVE NO PLANTER BOXES. I have some lillies in nursery pots but they do not obstruct the trash can. Last week they had no reason why they didn't pick up the trash. Just never got around to it. (?) This has become a weekly ordeal with this new company. Unreliable and not a company you can rely on. Excuses every week. Do not do business with these people. I pay monthly for NO SERVICE. They are history.

First, they no longer accept alcohol containers because they do not specifically state CA crv. [Stores do not want them either! So only option is to give to local sanitation company, forfeiting paid crv.] Now, they do not want the plastic tops to beverage containers. Of course, that is where the weight lies. Front office reaffirmed that if they come with, they'd accept, but could simply be tossed. What!?! I thought the purpose of recycling was to provide relief to landfills (and environment) as well as recirculate the material. So, what did they do with the tops that they confiscated from customers? Hmmm!

Staff was helpful, they appeared to give us an accurate amount of money back - exactly what you want out of a recycling place. We did have to take the tops off the glass bottles, in case you are going there.

I help two clients of mine save their cans and bottles and I save my cans and bottles and bring them in to make extra money, every little adds up! I definitely suggest going to this place!!
