When I later shared I was in town and could pick up they were quick to say they'd be ready the following day. However when I had to again cancel and say, "can you actually deliver?" My Godmother is a senior citizen who recently moved to a nursing home in the area... I live 1200+ miles away and wasn't able to visit her for Mother's Day, so I googled local flower shops, and The Blossom Shop was at the top of the list... I ordered a beautiful Mother's Day arrangement (according to the picture on the website), and they agreed to deliver on Friday 5/10/24, (2 days before Mother's Day) The total was $103 and change including tax & delivery fees... When I called my Godmother on Mother's Day, the flowers I ordered hadn't been delivered... I called the front desk at the nursing home, and they said they didn't receive any flowers... The Blossom Shop was closed, so I had to wait another day to speak to someone. Early Monday morning, I received an email from them saying they were sorry for the delay, and if I could give them my order number, they would try to deliver the flowers by 6pm, and if they didn't get to it by 6pm, they would deliver them on Tuesday... Today is Tuesday, 4 days after they were supposed to be delivered, and still no flowers! What if this was for a funeral ?! I told them, at this point forget the flowers, just refund my money! Again, They asked me to provide them with my order number... I happened to find the order number in the subject line of all or our emails back and forth... I copied the order number and sent it to them again, and within a few minutes they replied... "Great News, your Mother's Day flowers will be delivered today by 6pm" NO! This is ridiculous, and Unacceptable! This order was supposed to be delivered 2 days BEFORE Mother's Day, Not 2 Day AFTER Mother's Day! (4 Days Late) If you can send them back in time, and deliver them last Friday, fine... If you can't send them back in time, then I just want my money back. What we got was the owner ,Dave, driving 45 minutes to our home to look at the tree. He climbed under the tree, dug the mulch out and added soil and fertilizer to the root ball. We have heard myths and legends of ancient customer service such as this, but we were skeptical. Imagine our shock and delight to happen upon it here in the lakes region ?
