I found Storm Lake Honda on CycleTrader and their pricing was good (although there were a few priced lower). However, the reviews for the couple of dealers with lower prices were all very poor. Lots of 1-2 star reviews. I knew from past experience, that those types of dealerships were not worth my time; and you cannot trust their advertised prices! When I looked at the reviews for Storm Lake Honda, there were lots of 4-5 star reviews and many positive comments. I called Storm Lake Honda and was connected with Nick. He answered my questions and told me the price was the advertised price plus the shipping fee they are charged by Honda. I told Nick I would think about it. Called Nick the next day and did the deal. He emailed me a purchase order for the agreed upon price. I made flight arrangements to fly into Des Moines and Nick arranged for someone to pick me up at the airport. When I arrived at the airport I waited for 2 minutes before the owner of Storm Lake Honda (Larry) picked me up. Larry then drove me to Storm Lake, IA. The next morning I met Nick at the dealership. I signed one piece of paper, which was a copy of the purchase order Nick had emailed me earlier, and I was on my way 15 minutes after I got to the dealership. The Gold Wing was great for the 1,400 mile ride home. I love the motorcycle and would happily travel to Storm Lake Honda in the future to purchase another motorcycle. John

Overall I am disappointed in the service I received. I had Glen's put new tires on my CBR600RR, as…read morewell as install a new cam chain tensioner. I supplied the parts myself. While they did install both items, after doing so they did not call me. I called to see if they were finished and they already had, but did not contact me. When I picked up my bike the tip of my key was bent, to the extent that it did not fit into my cylinder correctly. I did not notice this until I got home as my key was already in the cylinder when I got it. Upon further inspection when I got home, my chain was far too tight, and had only approximately half an inch of slack at the loosest point. In the area where they installed my cam chain tensioner, there were many scratches around the area, presumably from them removing the old one (it is a tight area to work in). In conclusion I wish I had a more pleasurable experience, but I will likely be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
