Trash Orthodontist. $$$$ is all he is looking at. Anybody with half a brain will realize this once…read morethey start treatment because of how rushed everything is and how he isn't thorough about anything. Absolute terrible experience! Had braces for 20 months the first time around and ended up having to get them back on. Dr. Briedens treatment caused my bite to be way off even more so than when I started, My teeth ended up in a position where they met right in the middle to where I couldn't bite down correctly. After this first treatment he placed a permanent retainer and assured me it would keep my teeth in their correct positions and I'd maintain my final results. Well, a few short months after I had major gaps on the teeth that this permanent retainer didn't cover. As a professional he should've known for my particular case that a removable retainer would have been more ideal. So I complained about my results until he put them back on for another 15-19 months only for my bite to go back to near what it was when I started treatment 3-4 years prior along with chipping on my top front teeth because the directions he was giving me with my rubber bands caused my teeth to overlap excessively and hit my bottom brackets. He then took my braces off A SECOND TIME and I had him file my teeth for a second time because obviously the wear and tear of a second treatment caused unevenness and now my teeth look very small. Even after going through treatment a second time the main issue I was trying to FIX!! "SPACING" was noticeable immediately after taking them off the second time! This time it was in the middle of my TWO FRONT TEETH! After all this money spent he recommended bonding SMH! HEY DR. BREIDEN maybe you should've told me these problems would occur beforehand to prevent all this nonsense! BUT NO you were just looking at the $$$ signs! You're supposed to be professional you are a specialist in orthodontics! You seem to just disregard your patients concerns and say oh well I have my money ALL IS GOOD on my end. Who knows the damage you caused to my jaw putting me through such an extended nonsensical treatment! Worst money & time ever spent. You should be ashamed of yourself. Pretty sad we couldn't get good results after 2 tries! Also Dr. Breiden doesn't even keep your original molds for your retainers. So if you lose them on vacation or something and come back and your teeth have shifted basically your whole treatment could possibly go down the tubes because of something so dumb. Any logical sensible human being would keep original molds to retain results DUHHH. Now a few years after finishing treatment and my teeth have never had worse alignment and spacing in my life. I expressed my disappointment to Dr. Brieden at the very end of this nightmare of two separate unsuccessful treatment processes and what I thought he was missing or doing wrong wanting an actual resolution that made sense and I was happy with and he said "I'm not going to listen to this anymore, I'm going to my office... good luck with everything" A professional would do everything possible to make sure their patient is happy at the end of treatment not just tell them suck it up and go away. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ORTHODONTIST he's a joke. And will take your money and do a shotty rushed job.

The…read morehygienist had zero patience with my very nervous 5 year old who was being extremely cooperative despite her being impatient and RUDE. She had the audacity, while my son started panicking, to rudely instruct me to "hold him and his hands down" while he was gagging and about to vomit, so she could squirt water in his mouth. Instead of just letting him sit up and catch his breath this is what they expect parents to put up with. We immediately ended the visit. I will never put my kids through that kind of treatment again. Don't treat people let alone CHILDREN like this and expect to get a raving review. I am absolutely disgusted by what we just experienced.

They are changing appointments and canceling without notice, scheduling appointments on non-working days, and then not notifying me. I have had to make both morning and afternoon appointments due to my child's age. I made an appointment, but they canceled it because it was not exactly six months and one day, and said insurance would not cover, but my insurance company covers two appointments per calendar year. I made an appointment in Richmond in August of 2024 for March of 2025, and three weeks before, they called to say it was canceled because it was during their lunch break. The earliest they could get us in was at the end of June. Communication and service have declined since coming to Chesterfield.

After the 4 years creating these gaps, they took my braces off and gave me a retainer before i go through the implant process. After consulting with an implant surgeon, they told me there wasn't enough room in my gaps for implants. After hearing this news i realized that 4 years of creating space, Kennet himself told me I had enough room. I didn't have enough room, and now he has ignored numerous calls and avoided meetings. Thousands of dollars for this process and they now tell us that there isn't anything they can do. I truly hope if you have kids with teeth issues you don't send them here, I've suffered enough with my teeth condition and Kennet offered help, he told me everything is done but now we need to redo the whole process elsewhere. However, the experience fell apart when they gave me the worst retainer imaginable. It was so thick I couldn't wear it, and as a result, my gap started to reopen. When I went back to discuss fixing it with braces or Invisalign, they refused and instead suggested I get veneers. So, they referred me to a dentist. That dentist, who was fantastic and honest, told me they were completely wrong and that the gap should've just been closed as I had asked them to do then I could consider bonding after braces. Here I am now, paying another $4,000 at a new office to redo the treatment they should've provided me the first time. It's frustrating and disappointing--I could not and would not recommend them to anyone anymore based on my experience.

He is so nice and talks to my daughter to make her feel comfortable. The thing that I don't like is that an assistant is the one who put her braces and wire on. Brackets fell off because they were not put in correctly and my daughter swallowed one. I would prefer the dentist do this and not the assistant. My daughter told me that the assistant said as the brackets she put on were falling off that she was stressed out and going to get fired. I understand they are super busy, but I want to make sure that everything is done correctly by the dr with how much we pay. I will say we did take her back and they did replace the brackets without any extra charge because it was their doing and not because of my daughter eating something when they fell off.

I believe that when you are in customer service, your job is to serve customers. I have had…read moreseveral customer service issues with the office and I think that is unfortunate because I try to support black business every chance I get. I have nothing against Dr. McQueen as an orthodontist but I do have a serious problem with the way she runs her business. The first issue is that there are three locations - one in Southfield, Dearborn, and Clinton Township. The website says that the office hours are Mon - Fri 9am to 5pm but what they don't tell you is that they split the days and time between offices. Instead of fully staffing each office, the doctors and staff work on a rotating schedule. As a patient, appointment options are very limited because the office you attend may only be open two days a week. To solve this problem, Dr. McQueen has instituted a policy in which the customers must alternate between early and late appointments, i.e. if you had a late appointment last time, your next appointment must be an early appointment. I have never been to a doctor's or dentist office that is not willing to accommodate your schedule. To mandate that I have to come early when I have a job to go to is ludicrous to me. If the majority of your customers need to come in late, then have a late day where you are open until 8pm like every other doctor or dentist. Why not open on Saturday to allow that to be an option for people that work during the week? If you can't fully staff 3 offices, you shouldn't have 3 offices open. I'm sorry, Dr. McQueen may be a good doctor but she is a horrible businesswoman. Unfortunately, I have already paid for my son's contract so I have to ride this out but I will definitely not be taking my other son there, nor will I be referring any other patients.
