I am well aware the most of the orthodontists in our area do partial jobs. Specifically, they slap braces on the 8 front teeth on the top and bottom and call it a day. However, this does not correct any of the underlying problems that can cause for serious future pain and costly surgeries. Other orthodontists care more about having an assembly line of clients they can align a few teeth, charge a considerable amount for their incomplete work, and then go to the next child or adult and continue the process. That is where Dr. Ziaja is different. He does things the right way. His ethics are a cornerstone of his operation and he ensures everything in your mouth is correct to ensure there is no trouble for your smile or for your jaw in the future. He cares about everything being right which is so important for something that you will show everyone you meet for the rest of your life, your smile.  Let us not forget that he graduated at the top of his class at the University of Michigan. This, I can only imagine, was no easy feat. He is very intelligent and hardworking. His dedication to details will ensure that he will successfully give you an outstanding smile. The smile he has given me has allowed me to get several high-profile jobs in the Metro-Detroit area because I had a terrific smile that lights up the room.  So if you are on the fence about which orthodontist to pick, remember the difference between cost and price. Price is the one-time payment you make to get the braces. You will only worry about it once. However, the cost can be so much more if you go to a different orthodontist than him because it adds up the time, headaches, and additional hidden costs of going to a place that cuts corners. So ask yourself, do I want a perfect smile (for myself or my child) done right the first time or do I want the insecurities of my smile or my child's smile to show through for the rest our life?  I can't thank Rose and Dr. Ziaja enough! I just hope they are still in business for my kids! :)

Then because he had his braces on during covid they tried to trick me into signing something just in case his teeth we're damaged, that was the first i ever heard of them thinking because of the length the braces were on his teeth might be damaged. Thank god they are not ! So many more rude comments happened during this time .Long story short very rude spent over 9,000 on expander and braces and don't like how the teeth turned out. It's been two years and I can honestly say I'm just sad that my Invisalign is done now. I have had crooked teeth all my life and was told that in order to fix them I would have to get metal braces. At 30 years old that wasn't even an option, my dating life is bad enough. Dr. Kennet reassured me that Invisalign could transform my teeth and I also got my jaw pushed forward by Dr. Michael Heath who is the best jaw surgeon ever. After the 4 years creating these gaps, they took my braces off and gave me a retainer before i go through the implant process. After consulting with an implant surgeon, they told me there wasn't enough room in my gaps for implants. After hearing this news i realized that 4 years of creating space, Kennet himself told me I had enough room. I didn't have enough room, and now he has ignored numerous calls and avoided meetings. Thousands of dollars for this process and they now tell us that there isn't anything they can do. I truly hope if you have kids with teeth issues you don't send them here, I've suffered enough with my teeth condition and Kennet offered help, he told me everything is done but now we need to redo the whole process elsewhere. HORRIBLE experiences here.

I had put off finding a new dentist for quite some time. I met with an office member that couldn't have been nicer. As it can be embarrassing explaining this, she was companionate and stated there were a couple of hygienists who would be great for me. The day of my appointment I was nervous going to a new place and it had been so long but was okay because of the talk with the office staff. I went back with the hygienist who was friendly but it took a short amount of time for me to realize she knew nothing; she didn't know I hadn't been to the dentist in years, didn't know about childhood trauma, she had no idea I was nervous...... She was again friendly (smiling) but not a good fit for someone in my situation. She didn't explain things; yes a lot has changed over the years; I honestly sat confused how this appointment could have gone so wrong after being reassured when I made the appointment; a mistake had to have been made. I finally spoke up a couple of times asking questions especially when I was being taken to another room for an X-ray after having X-rays in the first room. I was clueless at what was going on and she wasn't explaining. When I got up from my chair I was sweating so bad you could see the outline of my body in the chair. I kept thinking when was it going to be over. Then another thing done I had never had done and didn't know what it was; I finally stopped her and asked her what this was. As she smiled, she would I'm sure be good for someone who goes to the dentist every 6 mo and knows the routine and doesn't need anything explained but in my situation, not a perfect fit. At that point I was thinking with the hygienist, I was never stepping foot in there again. But then I met Dr Hana; absolutely calming and compassionate. It was obvious he knew my situation. When I left, I left now torn about going back. I thought if I could just get a different hygienist I would be okay. Time lapsed past my 6 month appointment, I received emails, text messages and post cards to make an appointment. One day when I received a text message, I texted back about my experience. Stated I didn't know if I wanted to come back because of the hygienist but was thinking about coming back because the dentist was excellent. Attached is the response I received; then ghosted. I repeated that I didn't want to speak ill of the hygienist but not a good fit for anyone in my situation. I know for a fact as the employees are good, every employee excels in different areas. I was hoping since my initial office staff encounter was excellent and encounter with the doctor was excellent, a different hygienist would be a good resolution. I thought a mistake had been made. Instead it is stated they would reflect on what could have been done better? Not an attempt for a resolution? Not an offer of a different hygienist? Not I'm sorry, maybe she was unaware of my situation? Not, maybe there was a mixup with appointments and I received the wrong hygienist? I finally gave honest feedback hoping there would be an easy solution; a different hygienist. This puts more shame towards people that don't feel comfortable at a dentist. SO disappointed.....
