The waiter was very attentive and the service was perfect. The steaks were both an exactly medium rare as requested and well seasoned. Both sides were perfectly cooked, and the salted Carmel cheese cake was the perfect finish. The only downside was the restaurant's new policy of adding a delivery fee to all carryout orders. I placed my order to go and waited at the bar until it was ready, then took it home myself. Since I picked up my own food, I don't believe a delivery fee is appropriate. The server explained that this fee is now applied to all carryout orders. That extra charge is the only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars. The food was very good, and I'd definitely return, but I hope they reconsider this policy because it takes away from an otherwise excellent dining experience.

The shrimp Poboy featured 6 huge shrimp! I loved it! It was lightly seasoned and the shrimp were perfectly cooked and juicy. My wife's gumbo was very peppery, she knew that it would be from previous visits and she wasn't disappointed. She told me she would be able to eat only one or two spoonfuls at a time before taking a drink. But she ate the whole bowl! The decor is vintage. There are all kinds of Budweiser mobiles and pub mirrors on the walls. There was even a vintage cigarette vending machine with pull knobs for each selection! The machine was not in use but it was still fun to see.
