So I called Collier because I know the Master Tech there from his work at Ben Atkinson Motors and have the greatest faith in his capabilities. I was told by Steve Young that they do not have a tech that can do transmission work and that I should try Long Lewis in Prattville. I know transmission certification is a requirement for Master certification but I accepted his answer without argument because I was so taken aback by the idea of turning away work for your technicians. Not a scheduling conflict but a flat out refusal of service. My techs would be at the owners office demanding my firing if I were to take food off their tables in such a manner. It was an unacceptable and unprofessional exchange. As much as I love their Master Tech I'm afraid I will not be considering them for future work nor will I refer any of my customers.
