Recently, I was looking for a part for my 2002 Chrysler and ran across a number of places online…read morewhich had what I needed. Most were to far away or the cost outweighed the benefit. My exhaustive search ended at automotix.net where the service uses a database of used parts dealers and the prices listed for each. Fortunately, LKQ located about 70 miles away had the part and at a much more reasonable cost. LKQ specializes in refurbished and recycled engines which are held to strict standards and provides warranties against bad products and errors in workmanship. The first impression when pulling into the lot is a delapidated long standing structure, this is misleading and should not be considered. The quality of the team and the efficiency of their work made my business go smooth and easy. While I was waiting my turn, there was a service issue which perked my ears up. I do not have details, but that issue and the organization of business operations forced a one star loss. I will use their service again and wish to point out there are many conditions which are detailed online. Though they gaurantee the fit, color cannot be gauranteed. If you have the extra money and desire a complete match, Pull a part and going through a dealer is the best bet. If you are in need of a part and you do not mind if it is recycled, give them a try.

I would give zero stars if that were an option. Service is slow. I can't even get them to answer…read morethe phone. I have purchased a service with tires for tire repair. Apparently it will take an act of congress to get them to perform the repair. I have been turned away twice for this service. This was done with no other cars in the service area... what a joke!

Very impressed with the entire experience. I ordered four…read moretires on 9/3/19 via Walmart.com. The delivery date was 9/10/19. They actually arrived two days later on 9/5/19 via FedEx. I have scoured the market and the internet for pricing. Walmart.com has the best pricing on tires that I researched. And they are delivered free to either your home or the local Walmart Auto Care Center. I took the vehicle to the Wetumpka Walmart Auto Care Center on 9/6/19. It's all first come first serve so we were fortunate to have only several cars in front of us. If you purchase from either Walmart.com or the local store, the mounting is free. They charge $12.00 p/tire for balancing and $10.00 p/tire for road hazard if you choose these options. Tire disposal fee is $1.50 p/tire. I saved between $70.00 to $100.00 vs local tire centers. When I compared the components that make up the overall cost, the local tire companies charge just a little more for each cost component. (i.e. tires, balancing, road hazard and tire disposal fee). And keep in mind when you purchase the road hazard coverage, this policy is good at any Walmart Auto Care Center. Great if your traveling and need a repair due to a road hazard. The staff were very good to work with and the technicians seemed very knowledgeable. Bonus: The pricing and service was so good we had them go ahead and install two new tires on our second vehicle while we were there. We assumed we would have to leave it for the day so we drove two cars in order to return home. We went for coffee and returned an hour later. Both cars were finished.

Will not go back. Have come to this location for years due to the convenient location. Over the…read moreyears, there was usually a strong effort to upsell which was irritating but I simply declined each time. Today, I came in for oil change using $15.00 off full service coupon. Normal cost for full service blend oil $51.99. Tech told me my car required synthetic and I would be damaging my engine with regular oil or a blend of synthetic/regular. He went on to say he would notate my choice of oil and something to the effect American Lube would not be responsible. The price using the synthetic was much higher. He flashed a price sheet that showed one option for synthetic at ~ $72 and another one at ~$92. I told him I would take the risk and to put in the synthetic blend at the $51.99 price. While I was waiting, I checked the owners manual and while the OW-20 synthetic was recommended, the 5W-20 regular was approved. He asked if my tires were filled with nitrogen or air. I didn't know. He asked how old they were. I told him a year old. He said he couldn't top off my tires with air if there was a possibility they were nitrogen filled. From my research that is inaccurate. However, that wasn't an issue for me as I have an air compressor at home and regularly inflate my tires on all vehicles. He unscrewed one of the two bolts holding down my air filter cover and removed my still white air filter. He showed it to me and recommended I replace. Really? I declined. Final bill at check out was $41.60. The $15.00 coupon was applied. Otherwise this oil change would have cost $56.69. Upon leaving, I drove 100 yards to another nearby parking lot and got out to check under the hood. I just had an uneasy feeling with this encounter. I noticed both screws holding my engine air filter housing in place were missing. That was odd because I remember him unscrewing one of the two bolts. I drove back and told him he needed to put the bolts back on. He first said one bolt was missing, then the second bolt was broken, then both bolts were actually not on the car when he removed the cover. At that point I realized this place wasn't reputable. I told him I would take care of it from here.

On top of not checking my brake pads, my rotors, or never having the proper staff to balance and rotate tires. My father is dead, I am on my own when it comes to car servicing, and this is the treatment I am left to deal with. I work retail, I understand helping those that dont understand the products you sell, SUCH AS MEN COMING IN SHOPPING FOR WOMEN's CLOTHING. The pure sexism is ridiculous. Never again will I go back to this location, I am a college student that cannot afford to get ripped off. Will be paying that credit card charge off for awhile.
