I'm not really sure where to start. The front office staff is awful. They're very unprofessional,…read morerude and lack communication skills. For a pediatric dentist office, none of the staff is very good with children. They all mumble and they lack the skills that it takes to work with children. While they're competent in their job skills, they lack the demeanor that I expect from a pediatric office of any kind. I have five children ranging from teen to toddlers and they're all well versed in what it means to see the dentist and they all have good oral hygiene so they require what I'd consider routine and minimal care. This dentist office all act as if they hate their job and hate their clients. It's uncomfortable go there. Dr. Adam isn't awful but he is not very friendly and the dental techs are all so depressed acting. I'm not sure what's happening within the office for this environment to persist but it's very obvious. We have had SUCH great experiences in the past with our former (out of state) pediatric dentist and this one cannot even come close to the courtesy, kindness and skills the previous dentist had. We gave them ample opportunity to earn our continued business and they couldn't rise to our expectations. We should have left them sooner. One pro is the office decor. It's woodsy and cabin-like and super cute. I would not recommend this dentist office.

First issue with the office was the 3 calls back to back just to confirm an appointment we had. At…read morethat appointment I was given attitude because I hadn't filled out the paperwork before hand that was sent to me. During my children's cleanings there was a lot of back and forth between the Dentist and hygienist. I left the appointment assuming neither child had cavities, but I was never even told this. During the cleaning the hygienist says "how about tomorrow at 3:30 for that appointment?" Um, what appointment? "The extraction." They had discussed with me a tooth that MAY need an extraction. They did not say directly to me that it needed to come out. Then shortly after the front desk woman comes to take my card to pay for fluoride that my insurance doesn't cover. Did the hygienist ask and verify with me that this was okay? Of course not. But I pay and try to just brush it off. When I get the text reminder for the appointment I notice it says 3:00. Not 3:30 as they asked me about. I call to inform them of the situation and I tell them I will be late because I live in Sweetwater. So I rush to the appointment, and I am 13 minutes late. Immediately I get attitude about being late. Which I knew was in fact, either my misunderstanding, or the hygienist misspoke. I was willing to take the blame for that. I am then handed a treatment plan that is hundred of dollars with additional work other than the extraction listed. And I say that we will only be doing the extraction. And the front desk woman has me sign the treatment plan anyway and tells me I'll have to just talk to them about that. Then because I have my son with me, they tell my daughter she will have to go back to have her tooth pulled alone. She has dental anxiety, and doesn't want to go back without me.I am a single mom with no help, but I was also not even told this when I made the appointment the day before, and I had him with me for his cleaning that same day before at the same time as my daughter. So why do you not go over a treatment plan for the patient when an appointment was made? Why do you not also let someone know siblings aren't allowed to go back to even give me a chance to find someone to watch him? I was told "It's not our problem that you're a single mom. You can always reschedule." No thank you. I cancelled all future appointments and left. I'm actually so surprised at how we were treated. I have went to the office many times with no issues and always scoffed at the reviews saying rude things about this office. But this is the exact same things others have said they do. They just don't do it right away. I would not trust them to take care of any child. If you want a long term dental office for your child, this isn't the one. Now my daughter has more dental anxiety than when we started out.

So she only got to sit up on a bench while they manually brushed her teeth instead of actually letting her sit in the dentist regular chair. She got a floride treatment also. But they were demanding that she pay her co- pay up front or they were going to refuse service to any of the grandchildren that I brought there. I explained to them that I didn't know she had a " copay" & so i told them to go ahead and treat her without the Xrays. They were refusing to clean my granddaughter and grandson's teeth without Xrays done first. So we spoke to the manager after i was told to leave and reschedule the appointment after i drove an hour and a half to get there. The manager okayed the services to be performed and decided to bill their parents for the copay to be paid before their next visits/ soon.the grandchildren finally got their Xrays and teeth cleaned with a floride treatment before we left.i was then asked if they were going to come back to see them again or go somewhere else?

I think this is one of the only offices to return my phone call when I was searching for a dentist for my children. My 9 year old had to have a tooth pulled and was nervous at first since it was the first time she had to experience anything of the sort. The dental assistant made her feel at ease! Plus the fact they have mini TV's playing Disney movies really sealed the deal for her. My toddler also had his first exam here and the staff were lovely to both kids.

I cannot say enough positive aspects about our experiences. I definitely recommend to all. Note: my young has had instances of poor behavior in my opinion and he was met with patience from all team members. Please put that into perspective when seeing other reviews.

Despite my son's nerves and tears, Mysinger callously dismissed his pain, insisting it was "impossible" for him to feel any discomfort since what he was drilling was only enamel. I did my very best to calm my son. I was there, holding his hand and encouraging him the entire time. Instead of offering comfort to a crying child, Mysinger became impatient, scolding my son and suggesting I should spank him. When the doctor saw my shock, he told me, "Your child needs discipline." This despicable attempt to dictate my parenting choices crossed a line that should never be crossed by a healthcare professional. I ended the appointment abruptly, despite Mysinger insisting on completing the procedure--another display of a shocking lack of empathy. The experience was traumatic for both me and my son. It's abundantly clear that Dr. Mysinger prioritizes his ego over the well-being of his young patients, and his behavior has no place in pediatric dentistry. I won't be returning, and I urge others to seek compassionate care elsewhere.
