The place is nestled along the coast associated with a marina. The complex the restaurant is housed in reminds me of an assisted living vibe that was repurposed as a family resort. Kinda like if you added some water slides and pools to the side of an ol folks home. We walk in, wife and kids begin chirping about how the restaurant looks ok but is giving off some retirement home, but! The patrons are mostly family. We are seated at the back of a nice room , however our back wall adorns a large lcd screen emblazoned with a digital beach scene. My back is to it, so it doesn't bother me too much. Now that ive set your expectations to "questonable"we get to the food. Wife and i not expecting much. We go with the recommendation from my parents to try the tomahawk steak- for four people, kids ordered salmon rice veges, and spaghetti dish, The tomahawk takes about 45 mins to prepare. Comes w a Cesar salad, and we also ordered a calamari appetizer. The house bread is soft warm and fresh. W a sid eof roasted red pepper butter. 5/5 Calamari has light batter w. A nice sauce chipotle mild? Very yum- 5/5 Ceasar salad on point w the right composition of dressing, and fresh greens! 5/5 Kids: My sons who are picky 1. Salmon rice broccolini dish- completely gobbled up. 5/5 2. Spaghetti w carbonara sauce. 3/5. He said it was ok. Maybe too heavy on the cheese. Tomahawk - came out cruise missile style and landed into my top steaks crater. This thing was pre cut, on a meat board , w delicious gravy in a gravy pot, side of perfect mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables? Maybe some were also grilled . The meat was perfectly done a medium- light red , tender, touch of blood. Made to order. Meat was all eaten , as were the veges and the mash 6/5! Considering my expectations were low when i was judging this place on its looks. Also tried a side of the mushrooms- well cooked w good aroma 5/5 Desert was a chocolate lava cake - light cake part and rich chocolate lava part-4/5 Needless to say. Exceeded expectations. Chose the restaurant for a holiday party for the team for 12 people. The reservation experience was great with good menu choices and good communication from the restaurant. We had a private dining area with Alex as our server . He made sure all our needs were met, provided exceptional service and was attentive at all times . Everyone in the group enjoyed the evening with delicious food, tasty appetizers, great wine and delectable desserts. We got some free food vouchers so we came on 3 different days for lunch. My mom really likes fish so she had fish and chips for 3 days. The fish piece is pretty big on the 1st day but it got smaller later on, weird thing though it's not that hot in temperature. The beef rice came pretty hot so maybe the fish and chips were left out in the open for too long before getting to our table. I tried the wagyu beef burger on the 2nd day, I've never tasted a burger so overcooked. The burger was a bit on the dry side which was strange as wagyu supposedly has more fat. I'm just wondering if I even gotten a real wagyu beef. Right close to the harbor, beautifully decorated to match the theme (white and blue). Open concept with huge ceiling to wall windows so you can see outside while dining in. During Covid, they have the tables spread out. It allows for a more intimate dining experience. I would definitely check this place out for dinner. Overall a pretty decent spot, but I found the food average. Lake views were kind of nice and they have a quite serene ambience. Here's the rundown of the food: - table bread was just store bought bread which was a bit of a turn off, but at least it was warm and the butter was good - bruschetta flatbread was alright but way too heavy on the cheese - trout was pretty decent, good healthy options - steak was a bit underwhelming both in quality and seasoning - summer salad was good; pomegranate dressing was quite sweet. The reservation was easy to make and we were well accommodated for our special needs. The location was lovely and we were excited to be there. Staff were friendly and attentive. We had looked at the menu and knew the prices - therefore expected a very good meal. Then our food arrived: 1 person had Salmon and was very happy with it. 1 Person had the seafood linguini and said it was 'sad', the taste was decent by the seafood was rubber. 2 people had the Vegi Curry bowl and it was plain, tasteless and very disappointing 1 person had the ribeye and lobster tale, surf and turf and it was INEDIBLE! The steak was definitely not a rib eye, it was a cross between mushy, chewy and gristle floating in a greasy sauce. The lobster tale was rubber. The mashed were the best part. Mussels in a White Wine Broth, Chive Whipped Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables. This restauraunt is in Collingwood near Blue Mountain, so on the way towards or away from that area its a great pit stop. The lake is Lake Huron btw, not Lake Ontario so its a different view than most people in Toronto are used to. If this were Toronto or Montreal I'd say the main course dishes are over priced, but you have to keep in mind when you're this far out, the options for this type and level of food are far and between. I have eaten there several times and each time it got worse. The prices are way too high for what you get although the service was very good. I ordered the spinach/asiago dip and it was terrible. The chopped tomatoes were sour and there was too much raw onion which stayed with me the rest of the afternoon. My husband had the fish and chips and they were ok. The deconstructed lemon tart was dry and inedible. The coffee tasted old and bitter. My friend's salad was awful. I don't think we will go back. A couple of years ago I loved it. Now it has deteriorated and they better do something as the setting is lovely. Lower your prices and get another chef. read more

Supreme chicken has only a small piece of chicken breast. The burger patty is literally like tree bark. Tastes like chewing garbage. And I had already tipped when ordering online, and was asked to tip again when I arrived at the scene. It was originally a takeout order. I don't know how this restaurant is so shameless that it can ask for tips twice. My first day in the Blue Mountains was the worst restaurant I've ever had. read more

Not sure what's with the poor reviews. I've been here about 3-4 times, and I've been very happy with the food and service. My only complaint would be that the wine prices are a little steep, but the service and food quality is great. Everything is fresh, the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and this is one of my partners favourite spots to get a steak (ribeye). I prefer the fish or seafood, I haven't been disappointed. I would give this place 4 stars, but feel the need to give 5 because I don't believe they deserve a 3 star review. Side note: if you look on trip advisor, they have a ton of pictures and reviews that seem more accurate and represent the experience a lot better. Also, Kerry is lovely. Kudos. Cook managed to cook a hard boiled egg runny and crispy bacon also uncooked! Perhaps they were rushing because the meal was not able to be fixed because of change over! The family they have at there restaurant has always been so pleasant and I know it has been hard times latley with covid but they always seem to nail every meal.
