My husband and I had a really great experience living at these apartments. From the very first day we toured, Yolanda was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. She made the entire process smooth and stress-free and continued to be amazing throughout our time living there. Anytime we had questions or needed anything, she was always professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about the residents. The property itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The lakes are gorgeous and make the community feel so peaceful and relaxing. Everything was always kept so clean, and the property stayed very quiet, which we really appreciated. Everyone living there was also so friendly and respectful, which made it feel even more like home. I usually prefer having in-unit laundry, but honestly the laundry facilities here were so nice and always clean, which made a huge difference. I left in Summer 2020 after my neighbor who was selling drugs and beating his gf got the apartment complex shot at from someone trying to kill him. Dude got his car shot up and the building and then ran out with his own gun to chase down the people who shot his car. I documented everything, police were on the scene for hours, neighbors called, they left the bullets all over the parking lot. I told management that my partner and I feared for our life in that apartment and that they needed to get the neighbor out. Due to Covid regulations they stated that would not be possible, so they offered to move us to another apartment across the property. It was not even remotely the same as the apartment we were renting, smelled like smoke, and was not updated at all like the one we had and yet they were raising our rent. We left that place and fast when management refused to do anything after I and other neighbors complained for 9 months. They wouldn't allow us out of our lease even though I was literally scared to be at home due to his violence and the shooting. DO NOT RENT HERE read more

The apartment itself was nice, But the harassment that i received from the downstairs neighbor was ridiculous and he was racist, he complained about noise during no quiet hours and there walls where so thin, because he has been there for a while one particular leasing agent just believed everything that he said and did not care for anybody else, the agent violated my right by tell this man who was all in my until and everything else that he wanted to know about me and my family, So we moved out, Now that I'm not there he is going around bragging and telling people how he got us kicked out the Apartment and is currently complaining about the other neighbor across the way so he can can get them kicked out too!! if anyone moves there STAY AWAY FROM BUILD 27 because the 2701 neighbor will make it hard for you to enjoy where you pay rent at!! read more

We have been here two year. The office staff and maintenance staff are nice and do their best. They are working to renovate things and that costs money. Overall this has been an okay place to live. This may seem like small pittance but it severely adds up over time especially when many residence live on a fixed income. The lack of pricing transparency is severely annoying. The laundry situation is starting to feel shady. When we moved in the price of a wash was $2.25 Then it went to $2.50 in 2024. I went in today and the price was $2.85. There has been no communication about this. I get it, things are expensive and prices has to go up in response. But the no communication and the fact that you add money to the app in round numbers getting shady. You add $20 to the app and end up with some odd cents because $2.85 is not going to go nicely into $5,10 or $20 that you then have to add money to to use means that when we move out we will most like have to leave money unused in the account. You can add your own custom amount but the app will usually thow a fit when I try to do that. The dryers are now $2.75 when they used to be $2. You usually have to add time because the dryers do not dry effectively. You can see lint build up on the vents outside and lint stuck to the walls. That is an extra $1 or $2 per dry cycle to get cloths dry. We have submitted concerns to csc (the laundry company) as well as maintenance reports to the office and things will get better for a week, maybe, then back to issues. I really really don't care that the door was painted from white to brown to make it look nicer, I care that I am now spending double the amount a month to be able to wash clothing. I have a small family and only need to wash things once a week. Familes here with kids and pets are spending more that I am from the same subpar situation. read more

Total ghetto living. Unprofessional staff under legal drinking age. I'm a good tenant and maintain my apartment, but even though rent is advertised as low as $1300, my new lease is at least $200 more. I'm thinking of moving immediately after finding out from a customer representative that they don't consider sanitizing the washers and dryers as regular maintenance. Also, a murder happened on the property within a month before I moved in. Within less than a year, someone else was shot here. The leasing office hours are erratic. The "lakes" aren't maintained. They stink to high heaven on hot days. The ceiling and walls of my apartment do little to conceal the noise of my neighbors. read more

Lakeside Landing is the first apartment I've ever rented and in the 6 months I've been here I would say I don't have many complaints. I enjoy all of the trees, birds, squirrels, geese, sunrises & sunsets and overall the nature aspect of the complex. I've attached photos I've take around the apartment complex. There are many paths to walk so it's been working very well with the two dogs I have. Management arranges get togethers such as movie night, trunk or treat, Easter egg hunts, Valentine's Day card craft activities - so I feel like this community would be great for children as well! Monday - Friday I always see the grounds being up kept by landscapers. In the time I have been here management throughly communicates via email if there is painters painting, gutters being cleaned, skylight windows being replaced and much more. I can tell they pride themselves on being communicative and keeping the community up kept. I haven't seen any bugs or rodents in my apartment like other apartments have issues with. The one maintenance request I sent in was completed in 48 hours. I really appreciate the size of the bedroom fitting a long work desk and a queen size mattress, the two walk in closets and high ceilings. If I had to complain about something it would be that there is geese poop everywhere and the valet trash pick up is very late 10pm to sometimes 1 pm and they make a loud ruckus. read more

I am not yet a yet a tenant here but based on my two experiences here so far, my spouse and I are surely moving to Lakeside Landing. I dropped in without an appointment to ask about the details of living here. Alyssa M. kindly greeted me and invited me to the office. She was friendly, professional, and fun. She provided me with all of the information I wanted plus more. She gave me realistic expectations about acquiring a unit with in-unit laundry (there is one building with a washer/dryer in the units; all others are shared in each building). She offered me a tour, which I was pleased to get considering I hadn't made an appointment to do so. The unit she showed me was outstanding, but she let me know it was a fully upgraded unit, and not all units were at that point yet. She noted that prices vary depending on the unit features and upgrades, which provide options to people of various income levels. She showed me the common areas and those looked great as well. There's a pool, hot tub, gym, clubhouse, and more. Overall my visit was excellent. The costs on top of rent seem reasonable (definitely more reasonable than our current residence at The Boulders at Puget Sound). Costs attached. Alyssa said parking isn't too much of an issue except in some areas of the property. The first time I stopped by, I drove around and then walked around the area. The community feels quiet yet there are families and children around the common areas. My overall impression is it will be a great place to live. Among being able to validate first hand almost all of the negative things other residents have said on here. I lived alone there, while deployed the tags expired to my vehicle that was parked in my designated space. They apparently put a note on my windshield then towed it within a week or so after. I paid thousands of dollars to recover what I thought had been my stolen vehicle from a towing company where the police hadfound it,when I returned from deployment. The office made it clear that there is no exception to expired tags and all but told me to go 'F myself'. I've been working with lawyers on a lawsuit. read more

I would give it zero stars if I could. We lived in a unit for a few short months and it was horrible. First of all, don't be surprised if you hear gunshots outside your window. The pictures of this place make it look lovely but safety is not their top priority. In the short time we lived there several police raids occurred. Within 2 weeks of living there our car got broken into and the office didn't seem to care. No working cameras so nothing was caught. Gates never worked half the time. Please don't waste your money living here. It's not worth it. We came from out of state and had we known about this area of Tacoma we would've stayed away. read more

Just wanted to post one more review. We just moved out of here after 1.5 years. We really enjoyed living here and i won't lie, i'll miss it. The apartments definitely have their quirks, but that's pretty standard for apartment living. I definitely recommend this place to people who may have issues with their credit, not much rental history, or not a lot of money to spare for move-in charges. We paid a low deposit ($200) along with a pet deposit ($400 i think?) which is pretty unheard of as far as move in fees go. We had some standard wear and tear at move out with some slight damage to carpets from my cats. I cleaned the apartment pretty good and was still expecting to owe them money. no money owed! We also had to stay a little while past our move our date bc we were waiting to close on our house - management was super flexible and awesome about that. pros: easy to be accepted. easy to move in. the grounds are beautiful and well maintained (besides the unavoidable goose poop), my son and i took walks around almost every day. the playground is awesome and so many nice families live here. lots of closet space. maintenance staff is AMAZING. lots of parking depending on where your building is. apartment stayed pretty cool in the summer even with no AC. amenities are cool when they are open (haven't been basically all of 2020) cons: kitchen is VERY small. natural light in bedrooms is meh. vertical blinds are the bane of my existence (not all the apts have them but mine did). paint chips like crazy inside kitchen cabinets. overall we liked living here and i recommend these apartments to many of my friends! read more

Here is a summary of management's response after my vehicle was stolen in broad daylight: 1. Gates will be fixed when they get fixed (it's been over a year). 2. Cameras are there for our use, not to protect you or your things. 3. No, you cannot install your own cameras. 4. You should have better security on your car. After it was stolen, I learned that of the 2 entrance cameras, 1 is broken and the other is too old to pick out a license plate. There are, however, multiple modern cameras around the leasing office protecting the company's property. Gates have been broken since we moved in. Walls are paper thin. I could hear my next neighbor clear this throat. I could hear my upstairs and downstairs neighbors peeing! The downstairs neighbor left their bathroom fan on all hours of the day and night and it was so loud it woke me up every night and sometimes 4:00 am in the morning. I had a life situation change and I needed to move and they charged me lease breaking fees. Be sure to read your lease very carefully in regards to that. I tried to explain I had to move and could they work with me regarding the fee and they did not. I am a senior citizen and they had no care or sympathy. I tried to get in touch with them several times to ask how to pay the fees and they told me they had to send me to collection before I could pay. I talked to them this week and told them I could pay (taking money out of my retirement fund) and they said no they needed to send me to collections first. If you are positive you NEVER have a situation where you might need to move before your lease is up and you don't mind a lot of noise it might work out. l wouldn't if I were you. read more

2 killings inside the neighborhood within the past 5 months (one of which just happened today 10/23/23, 2 access gates with only one working which also both closes at 5 pm causing unnecessary traffic , high rent that needs to be lowered due; to the killings, no washer dryer in unit, and no good upkeep. If your vehicle is in the same spot for too long (even if it's your PAID) spot , it will get marked for tow . Definitely will be moving out soon. read more

One of the worst management possible. They told us $1,200 each month but on the contract they changed it to $1,600 a month. Not only is the hot tub broken but the gym equipment is broken. There was mold forming in the heating vents in our apartments. The walls are extremely thin so everything we hear from upstairs and beside us is crystal clear. Around 7am the trash disposals are extremely loud and even with ear plugs on you would wake up. There's far more but the main thing for me was definitely the attitude and the way they spoke down to us. No help at all and was extremely rude. Would not come back again even if they paid us. Giving 4 stars, because there is always room for improvement. Lakeside landing is a beautiful property, within walking distance of the local community college (which as a student, I enjoyed), as well as grocery stores and coffee shops. The property itself is well maintained by a landscaping crew, and additional issues that arise are handled diligently by the maintenance team. In my two years at this property, I had nothing but great interactions with maintenance workers. They were always kind and understanding, willing to work on last minute jobs (basic sink leaks here and there nothing major), and remembered to take their shoes off or put shoe covers on before entering my home. As far as luxuries go, you will read many reviews about the front gate not working or the hot tub or pool being broken at various points in the year. This will be true in any set of apartments. Careless tenants are the cause of the pools and hot tub needing to be drained and cleaned regularly. But as a tenant, I always knew what was going on in the complex. The staff at lakeside landing do an excellent job informing every tenant via email when the pool, spa, front gate, or other social areas will be open and why they are shut down. You will also read many reviews about the staff at this complex. As a resident of two years, (and a very nosy individual) I witnessed the recent change in staff, and could not speak more highly of the new hires. From day 1 of moving in, Melanie Miller (who was assistant manager at the time) was fabulous to work with. She is a hard working single mother who brings professionalism and kind energy into the office. She also lives in the complex, making her relatable and available to residents. Although this complex is fairly large, Melanie always remembered my fiancées and i's latest accomplishments, and would always go out of her way to greet us and make us feel welcome at events. She has recently been promoted to property manager, which was a great promotion that she well earned. Upon this promotion, she brought in many new staff members. All of them had refreshing attitudes and seemed to genuinely care about their residents. As reviews go, I do have a few things that I did not like about living on this property, but my only main concern is MICE. The mouse infestation deserves a whole paragraph. Only because it. Was. Nasty. Nobody wants to live with rodents in their kitchen, yet alone an infestation of them. I did have a mouse infestation in my apartment. They found a way in from behind the stove, and MULTIPLIED. I did notify management, but at the time it was the old staff members who were less diligent, and gave me a couple sticky floor traps. Let me tell you, there is nothing worst than trying to fall asleep while 20 mice squeaking to death, stuck on a sticky floor trap. This was a very traumatic experience for me. When the traps were full, I reached out to management again to get more traps, and requested that a maintenance worker come fill the hole behind my stove to stop them mice from entering. I was told to wait until Monday (it was Friday at the time) and talk to Nakata (the old property manager) on Monday. So in order to try and catch the rest of the mice, I had to go to my local hard ware store and use my own money to buy traps for the rodents. This was a bummer, and I did not get refunded. When Monday approached nobody at the office would take my call or email me back. I took a bag full of dead mice attached to sticky traps to the office and set it on the desk, so that the employees at the time would understand how disgusted I was feeling in my own home. After I did that, i had tons of help and positive feedback from management and pest control. The mice hole was eventually filled and my apartment was back to normal. Community events. This was one of my favorite parts of living at lakeside landing. They act as a family or little community and have various events through out the year to bring neighbors together. The company pays for everything, food, drinks, entertainment, etc. guests are welcome to come hang out, meet each other, eat, sing Karaoke etc. sometimes the party's will have cool gifts and prizes to take home. If I had a child, I would have gotten a big kick out of the events at lakeside landing. They do a good job making the community feel bonded together. Sunsets. This apartment complex has some of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. Overall this complex is great. read more

Lakeside was one of the best apartments I've ever lived in! I lived in Olympia for a few years and moved up into Tacoma last year 2017. I was definitely a little nervous coming into a new town, but the employee's at the front desk made me feel super safe and confident about what they could provide. First off.. the complex has a gate (you have your own key card and code for visitors) which was a definite deal breaker for me. The apartment that I lived in was a 2 BDRM 1 Bath on the second floor. I had vaulted ceilings and HUGE windows (which was perfect for summer). The deck was nice and large and I also had a view of the pool from the deck. There was a family who lived next to me and within that year, I didn't hear any noises through my walls. The carpet was brand new when I moved in and the kitchen cabinets were freshly repainted. I have to give a big thank you to the property manager, Melanie. She has been there for me more that another PM that I've been a tenant for. Ask for her when you call, she is the best and believe me when I say.. this apartment absolutely deserves 5 Stars read more

I would say I am definitely a fan. Have you seen these vaulted ceilings and skylights? They are huge! Maintenance and office staff are open everyday and are always there to help. If I have a leaky faucet etc I can put in a work order online. Payments are easy to do as well. I moved in a month ago and I love it. I have a lakeview and I am not disappointed. 1. Grounds: Geese: THEY'RE EVERYWHERE! The apartment has a lot of lakes, so it's not surprising. They're territorial, and if you go anywhere near them, especially with your dog, they will most likely attack you. Dog/geese poop: Don't even bother walking in any grassy areas, because there's dog and geese poop there guaranteed. I cannot honestly count the amount of times I have stepped on dog or geese poop when living here. The residents need to learn to pick up their damn dog poop, it's disgusting. 2. Apartment units. - No washer/dryer: You resort to a laundry card and a public laundry unit, which by the way is the biggest waste of money I think I've ever encountered in my life. It costs roughly (estimating because I don't remember exact #'s) $4 to wash and dry ONE load of clothes. So let's say you needed to do three loads of laundry, which would come out to around $12. Add this $12 onto the cost of dryer sheets, detergent, etc. Ridiculous. Cost aside, you're washing your clothes in stinky/old washers and dryers. Most of the residents don't bother to take care of them, so they leave them growing with mildew and dryer fuzz in the filters. I've had dozens of pairs of socks and misc. articles of clothing either purposely or accidentally stolen from me. The biggest annoyance is the lack of washer/dryer units in the buildings. For example, I had people from other buildings coming to my building's washer/dryer because theirs didn't have one. With this being the case, you never knew when laundry was a possibility. In addition to this, the machine in the office that loads your laundry card with money is down frequently, at least when I lived here. - Cabinets detaching from their hinges: The kitchen cabinets have flown off of their hinges multiple times and slammed into my head. The wood is rotting away because the same spots have been used to hold their screws. - Loose sink heads: The sink heads (bathroom and kitchen) both erratically move - i.e. they're loose. - Dry old tenant urine on the toilets/seats: No amount of bleach could remove it. - THE BLINDS: WHO invented the DAMN BLINDS?! They CONSTANTLY got stuck in a way that would require me to manually adjust them with my own hands so they would open/close. I had to reinstall the same model of blinds myself when I moved out because they were always broken. - Huge skylight: Wow, a skylight... pretty, right? Negative, it makes the apartment absolutely unbearable in the summer months. It's always warmer than it is outside by a large margin if the sun is out. - Front door: It's two pieces of thin wood with Styrofoam in between. There's massive gap at the bottom between the floor and the door, causing a really annoying draft that sucked throughout winter. If you kicked the door with enough force I can guarantee you it would fly open even when locked. - Hot water: Good luck maintaining hot water in your shower for more than one ten minute session. 3. Maintenance. - Crew: Lazy, unmotivated, out of shape, and ever-changing. When they arrive to temporarily band-aid your issue(s), their trucks look like they were used as a prop in The Walking Dead. 4. "Gated". - Front gate: Broken about 50% of the time. If it breaks, it takes 1-2 weeks to repair, so it just sits open and solicitors can come in and out as they please. - Holes: The perimeter gate is breached in so many different locations. There's literally just bars missing, like almost strategically, enough for people to just move in and out of whenever they want. When brought up to management, they noted it but never acted on it. 5. Management. - For a few months, the management was renovating their office building. During this entire period, more than half of the apartment's amenities were unavailable for use - gym, Jacuzzi, clubhouse, the list goes on. However, all of these months those amenities remained unavailable, we still paid full rent! - While they were renovating, the management ran their office out of a ground floor apartment unit that was available. There were papers everywhere, it was cluttered, and overall it was a gigantic, unprofessional, and uncoordinated disaster. - Rude and disrespectful. It didn't matter if you built a rapport with a member of management because you could guarantee they were going to be a new face by the time you needed to talk to management again for something. The turnover rate was massive. 6. Rent. - Kept going up... and up... and up, and for what? We used to have two garbage bins per unit, and one day they randomly came and took one from everyone, leaving us with one. We were never told why in a letter, phone call, etc, just poof. This caused constant piles of trash to be strewn around the grounds, causing an increase in geese pooping all over parking lots, and raccoons at night. I can go on forever but I think I'm done. This place sucks. As soon as my lease ended and I saw my rent increased over 100 dollars, I ran and I ran fast. DO NOT LIVE HERE! PLEASE! read more

Look elsewhere. I'm going on my 5th year, out of necessity, and this will be my last. Management has changed three times and not a single management company has done a good job. Geese overrun this complex and poop everywhere. The on-site laundry rooms (which cost extra) are a joke and poorly maintained. Parking is a major issue! You will end up paying an additional fee for a parking space or park nowhere near your apartment unit. Cars get broken into frequently. They provide poor customer service and demonstrate a serious lack of professionalism and accountability. The location is awesome, but these people suck! read more

i live here currently and if you are thinking about moving here, just don't. I have had multiple problems with the unit and made multiple requests to have someone fix them yet they go months with not fixing them & they don't even check up on the issue. My dishwasher is falling out of the wall for a month now and yet nobody has decided to come look at it. My stove handle has completely fallen off and yet nobody has come to look at it. My drain was clogged and i tried unclogging it but it was a plumbing issue and i had to call four times for them to even send someone over and they didn't even fix it they looked at it and called it a day. Worst management i've ever encountered and i've lived in a lot of apartment complexes. The maintenance is sooo slow & i not hard working. You can go outside and see three different maintenance men driving around on golf carts doing nothing when they could be going around fixing their tenants apartments. i've never encountered such irresponsibility like this before it is ridiculous. Let me start with saying this moving has been one of the most stressful events. Between my date getting pushed back three times and my original unit not being ready. I am specifically writing this review because of the customer service and assistance from Elisabeth in the main office. The apartment is everything we could have asked for, but she has been amazing through the whole process of moving, a lot of it while I was still out of state. My boyfriend did a lot of the work of viewing the apartment and figuring out logistics and said Elisabeth was so incredibly helpful and communicated effectively with both of us. We communicated mostly through email and phone calls, and she was excited to meet me and knew who I was the first time I met her in person, which was very comforting to feel like I was more than a signature on a lease in a large apartment complex. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and welcoming, with plenty of natural light, amenities, and quality appliances to make it feel like a home quickly. The help of the staff made it a very easy transition and have been very approachable with any questions or maintenance issues. We had to get our toilet fixed (it just wasn't flushing all the way) and they were there the same day we made a maintenance request. We have a beautiful view in our backyard and have had no issues with noise or rowdiness. Accessibility to anything you need (grocery stores, restaurants, highways, etc.) are less than 10 minutes away, maybe 15 minutes to the heart of downtown. This is the most affordable place my boyfriend and I could find that did not have a red flag other than old reviews about old management. The nit pickiest thing I've found that I've seen in reviews is that there's goose poop around, but personally I really enjoy all the birds on the complex (we frequently see a black swan just hanging out!) and it always smells like pine outside, so I think if you are not going to pick an apartment because of goose poop, you might want to re-evaluate your priorities. Maintenance is always cleaning trash, doing yard work, and keeping the place looking nice, so it is pretty much a non-issue. My cat loves watching the birds as well! I am very a happy with my experience so far at Lakeside Landing and would highly recommend a tour at the very least if you're looking around! DO NOT MOVE HERE EVER! I moved in December 28th and still currently live here and it has been the absolute WORST experience ever. Firstly, my neighbors are the absolute worst! In the first couple months of living here I got a few complaints which were INVALID, but yet I still got a notice. My neighbors complained about me having a party late at night, when I only had 2 people over from 7pm-9pm on a Friday night. When I called management to explain my side of the story, they didn't care to listen, and still kept false complaints on my file. Furthermore, just last week (05/17/18) my neighbors were complaining that my puppy was peeing on my balcony and that they had pictures of "proof". What makes it even worse, is that one of the managers confronted me about the issue EXTREMELY RUDELY and when I tried to explain that, that was not true and that there cant be any pictures of proof because I NEVER let my dog out on the balcony, she gave me even more attitude and responded with just "Well, there are pictures with proof of your dog peeing on the balcony". Well, a different manager called me informing me about the pictures of "proof" that my puppy was peeing on the balcony, and the pictures were of puddles on my neighbors furniture out on their porch below my balcony. The puddles weren't even described as YELLOW. No proof of my dog peeing in action BECAUSE I NEVER LET HIM OUT THERE NOR DO I GO OUT ON MY BALCONY MYSELF. Furthermore, my dog is big, so if he was peeing on my balcony, my neighbors would be able to catch him in action. Its sad that the people here resort to snitching rather than talking to their neighbors about their issues. Its also sad that management only listens to the complaints and not the other persons side of the story. All in all, the people at lakeside landing are the worst here! My friends are aware of my horrible neighbors and all of the OTHER issues I have had since moving in here. I will not be renewing my lease and I have told all of my friends to avoid this apartment complex and YOU SHOULD TOO! read more

Very concerned about the speeding within the apartment complex. The few signs around the complex are small and not many pay attention to them. I live in an area where the street is curved (Bldg 24) and it is hard to see people who may be crossing the street. It can be difficult to back your car out of its parking place for the same reason as stated above. Enforcement is everything. Also, if a notice goes out to observe a particular rule, it needs to be enforced or it becomes a joke. ie; Do Not Back Into Parking Spaces When the laundry room keys stopped working, I was expected to go to the office and get a new key. Seems like an initial effort from the office to deliver new keys would be appropriate. If unable to deliver, then the renters should go to the office. I am concerned about how much the rent has gone up in the almost 4 yrs I have lived here. I do not live in an apt that has been upgraded. It certainly seems like I should not have to pay as much as an apartment that has been upgraded. I do not believe there is enough help to accomplish the tasks office personnel have. This leaves enforcement of the rules very lax. Renters have this figured out and too many know they do not have to live by the rules. read more

I cannot believe the unprofessionalism I dealt with at Lakeside Landing today. Long story short, we did not move in today, nor will we EVER move in to that complex because our income verification needs to be notarized and she decides to tell us this when we come in to sign the lease!!! I even got renters insurance set up, and Tacoma utilities account set up. She had a full week to call us or email us about this but never did. I'm just going to take it as a sign that god is saying that apartment is bad news and we need a better one. The lack of communication and empathy is ridiculous. I would stay away from this place. Just look at the ratings online. They are shady and are just quick to take your money. They're customer service is lacking. I guess moving in was an April fools joke! Happy Easter to us. read more

I have been living here for over 10 years. The apartments are nothing special however the grounds were beautiful. The new owners have not kept the grounds up. Grass is dead, geese have taken over, bird and dog feces everywhere making the walking paths unusable. Tree branches falling from trees never get picked up. The lakes are a mess with rotted timbers. One frequently floods out of its banks. Garbage overflows bins. Parking lots covered with garbage. I use to give Lakeside 5 stars however now I'm being generous with 2. I have spoken to the office but I'm not hopeful it will improve. read more

My first year at lakeside landing was great and very affordable to live. But I have to say is don't move in these apartments if you plan on signing more than one lease. The first lease is very affordable but after that first lease is up they will raise you rent atleast 300-500 bucks making it hard to get by and live your life. And what really gets me is how do they raise their rents so high when they don't have washer/dryer and upgraded appliances? In all honesty this place is a rip off after the first initial lease. Any complaints you give to the office they will hang up on you and not care to listen. And don't get me started on the maintenance. read more

I was dissatisfied with the mission rock's service. When I moved out, I was charged lease termination fee which was $1998 other than the rest of rent. I asked the office to explain about it. but they said I had to pay the rest of rent on the online portal on the day of move out. I did not mean that I don't pay the rest of rent. On the day of move out, I kept checking the portal but the portal showed $0 charge. A week later, the portal showed $1998 charge. I was scared if I do not pay it they will send this case to the correction. So I had to pay so much money at the end. I will dissuade anyone, who is trying to get in this apartments, even though he/she is my parents's old enemy. I choose this apt cuz it's really close to TCC, but except the location, I couldn't find a good thing in here. (Especially if you are TCC student, bruh think one more time!) I lived in here for an year, and will move out soon. My overall experience during one year was very disappointed. First, the management service was the worst ever! like really worst. To be honest, I was going to re-new my contract with them, only because of the location. But after couple times of appointments with the office, I totally changed my mind. They misinformed many important parts of contract, and be like they don't have any responsible on it. They are never willing to help you, and if you argue with them, then they will kick your ass out! When you are struggling with all those requirements for the contracts, all you can hear from them will be "We will let you know" for an entire week ‍‍. Have you ever experienced poor treating or unbelievably rude attitude from your property manager?? Then you must believe me! this apt will give you worse than ever lol. Secondly, do not let the pictures fool you! The pond sides are extremely disgusting with all goose poops, smells bad, and not managed at all. when it comes to summer time? Oh hell no! I almost throw up . I have made complains few times, but nothing has been changed. Maintenance guys are kind, and fast. But even tho it's renovated, the furnitures are still OLD. They just painted to white color to make it seems like new, what a brilliant :). Lastly, the laundry facilities are under poor maintaining, like really dirty tho.... The money card charger is located in office only, and it's pretty expensive too. I am not the person who always write a bad review, actually this is my first to write a review. However im doing this, because I really don't want no one to make a same mistake like I did. And I will share my bad and honest experience in social media as much as I can. If you value reliable and considerate management, avoid this place at all costs. There's a reason why they're voted so low on Yelp and Google, as well as having over 40 available apartments listed compared to other apartments in the area that have just a few. Management does not care about their residents and only about themselves. Discussing issues with them is like pulling teeth and YOU'RE an inconvenience to them. I hope that the property management company replaces the current employees eventually for their own sake. I would take the one/two star ratings as a huge red flag. read more
