The walls were very thin and you could hear people talking in the hallway...including the housekeeping staff joking about vacuuming outside our room to get us out of there even though it was an hour before it was checkout time. That last bit put a bad taste in our mouths.

The pictures of this place when I booked online looked more high end, I didn't check yelp before booking and I should have! It wasn't a horrible place but the bed was very firm, not supportive either just cheap motel mattress type firm (I would've expected a better mattress for almost $200 a night in the middle of the week). The lady that checked me in was probably the nicest hotel clerk I've ever come across so that was refreshing! The room was extremely clean when I walked in, I could smell how clean it was so that was reassuring. I got the king suite with jacuzzi tub, it is definitely not a suite, it's a room like any other inn lol. There was a microwave and fridge in the room and the TV had netflix, hulu, etc but you have to login on your own account if you have one. The a/c unit worked decent but even when I had the unit set to constant fan it would turn on and off throughout the night which woke me up a few times. The curtains in the room are not complete black out curtains, you can see the light coming through a tad. The pillows on the bed were comfortable so it balanced out the firm mattress situation for me lol. The hallway can get pretty loud I was irritated about getting woken up at 3am and consistently until about 6:30am because of how loud the doors nearby were opening and closing and that is the biggest deal breaker for me, when paying to sleep somewhere I want to be able to get a good night's rest and I wasn't able to because of the outside noise, I can live with an uncomfortable bed more than getting woken up thoughout the night. They do provide you with a free pint of beer from the taphouse that is in their bowling alley in the parking lot there which was nice and they do offer free continental breakfast until 9am, I didn't try it though. There is also a mini golf course in the parking lot too and also a pool and spa that is open until 10pm (indoor) . I went in the spa and it was nice and hot but the jets just shoot straight up so you can't enjoy them and they are super loud, I could hardly hear when I was trying to FaceTime. Overall, it isn't a bad place but I won't stay again when in town for work because of the noise throughout the night and the doors slamming shut.

This is not your average three-star hotel. I'm already planning my next visit! 1. The Breakfast Bar - Truly a Standout Experience Hands down, one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had in this category. Nearly everything is handmade from scratch -- no boxed waffle mix or egg-carton scrambled eggs here. The waffles had the perfect balance of savory and subtle sweetness, ideal for anyone watching their sugar intake. The gravy was rich, hearty, and full of homemade flavor -- you could taste the care in every bite. The highlight, though, was the custom omelet station, where you can create your own with a solid selection of toppings. The attention to detail and quality at breakfast alone sets this hotel apart. 2. Stunning Lakefront View & Walking Path The hotel sits right on a beautiful lake, and you can enjoy your meal or morning coffee with a serene lake view from the window-side seating. There's also a small walking path along the water -- perfect for a peaceful early stroll before the summer sun heats up. I even spotted swans one morning! Paddle boarders and small boats regularly pass by, adding to the tranquil, postcard-like setting. 3. Impressive Room Amenities Our room was spotless, with crisp linens and a smart layout. I loved that the sink was separate from the toilet and shower area -- much more convenient when sharing the space. A standout feature was the oversized fridge, easily twice the size of typical hotel mini-fridges (even at higher-end chains like Hyatt). It fit all of our road trip snacks and meals comfortably. Other thoughtful touches, like a pre-stocked makeup remover wipe (which I always forget!), elevated the experience. The temperature control worked well, the bed was comfortable, and while the pillows leaned firmer, they were clean and supportive. 4. Fantastic Dinner & Patio Vibes Dinner on the outdoor patio was a peaceful and delicious experience. I ordered the prawn entrée -- and wow. You get 7 or 8 jumbo prawns in a lemony, buttery broth for around $25, and I happily devoured every bite (and drank every drop of the broth like soup). The salad bar was fresh, with fiber-rich options that made me go back for two full plates. But the unexpected star? The clam chowder. Creamy, hearty, and clearly made in-house, it was easily one of the best I've had -- even rivaling the chowders at Pike Place. I don't usually go for creamy soups, but I happily had two full bowls! 5. Top-Notch Service with a Smile The restaurant staff were truly wonderful. Every server greeted us with genuine warmth and attentiveness. It's clear this hotel has been around for a while, but the hospitality hasn't faded -- which is rare and says a lot. The team was friendly, caring, and made us feel valued throughout our stay. Final Thoughts This hotel impressed me on every level. From the exceptional food to the peaceful lake views, thoughtful room amenities, and genuinely kind service, Best Western Plus in Moses Lake delivered a stay that far exceeded expectations for its star level. 6. Relaxation & Wellness Amenities The hotel offers a great range of wellness amenities, including a spa, gym, dry sauna, and a heated indoor pool. Whether you're looking to stay active or simply unwind, these spaces provide a perfect balance of fitness and relaxation during your stay. If you're visiting, don't miss the clam chowder, the shrimp dish, and the custom omelets -- they're all fantastic. Highly, highly recommend!

We bought a ticket package for a show at The Gorge and were assigned this Moses Lake hotel with a shuttle for each day. We couldn't have been more impressed. Clean rooms, the comfiest beds ever, nice big open bathrooms, and finally, the best breakfast we'd ever had at a free hotel breakfast bar. The hotel is in a great location in the town, with a couple restaurants right nearby and only a few turns away from a grocery shops. For those traveling to The Gorge, it is a bit of a distance if you're not traveling with a shuttle, but I think we were comfortable and didn't experience the noise of after parties at hotels closer to the venue.

It was great and quiet until I witnessed one of the workers letting a family full of kids inside the back gate. The kids were loud and splashing so then my relaxing was over and I just wanted to leave even with my loud airpods in my ears. Then, the dad came back in with floats for them all so then it got even worse. One bad apple spoiled the bunch for not only me, but for another guest who was trying to enjoy the pool area as well. #FML I had even messaged the hotel beforehand to make sure the pool was opened because I was so excited to get to end the summer after Labor Day at a public pool and they told me they were still opened. They were opened alright. To everyone apparently.

That said, I had to take a last minute trip to Moses Lake and didn't have the luxury of being too picky. The Quality Inn met my needs and surpassed my expectations. On my way to the property I called to inquire if they had toiletries available as I didn't have time to pack a bag before I left. Joanne answered the phone and was extremely friendly and helpful. She said they had everything I needed and she would have it ready when I arrived. True to her word, she had a little bag put together when I checked in. 5 stars for service. The property itself is about what you'd expect for $80 a night. Not the best but not the worst. It's an older hotel so if you look close enough you'll notice the wear and tear and some things look pretty beat up. But on my way to the room I see fresh paint in the halls. Three stars here. The room itself was adequate. The furniture was old and worn but usable. Flat screen tv on the wall. And the bathroom appears to have been updated. Three stars again. Now here's the most important part for me (as I was only here for about 7 hours to get some sleep). The bed was STELLAR!!! Feather top mattress, clean and new bedding and the room itself was very clean. Five stars. Overall this property met my needs and the staff exceeded my expectations. They are obviously making updates and improvements and I look forward to staying here again should the need arise in the future.

When I arrived, there was a sign at the front desk instructing guests to use the phone to call for assistance. I saw two women talking nearby but had no way of knowing whether either of them worked there or if they were on break, so I followed the posted instructions and used the phone. Apparently, one of the women was the front desk clerk, and she immediately became confrontational. She repeatedly asked, "Can you see me? I'm standing right in front of you. Can you see me?" I explained that I didn't know who was staff and who wasn't, and that I had simply followed the directions on the sign because I wanted to check into my room. Things only got worse from there. When she asked for my driver's license, she was standing ten feet away with baskets on the counter between us. I tossed my license over the baskets and onto the desk in front of her, and she responded by throwing it back at me and telling me to leave. Since I had already paid for the room and didn't want to spend more money finding another hotel, I returned a few hours later hoping a different employee would be working. Unfortunately, I had to deal with the same clerk again. She remained rude and argumentative, although she eventually allowed me to check in. By the time I finally got to my room--three hours after I first arrived--I was exhausted and frustrated. The room itself had a strong cigarette smoke odor that was unpleasant enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth. The décor is dated, but the room appeared reasonably clean, aside from a few moths flying around. If it weren't for the extremely poor customer service and the overwhelming smoke smell, this wouldn't be a terrible hotel. Unfortunately, those issues completely overshadowed the experience. I will not be staying here again.
