So we arrived and bought tickets for the rides and we went to buy some lunch at the church vendor area (to support church funds). we were told after we bought our food and tickets that our friendly labrador dog was not allowed on 'campus' and we had to leave asap. we were told that signs were in place and that we should have known! well no, I saw none at our entry point (and there were several entry points),... we came on basis of tv commercial and there was no indication of no pets allowed! even after buying $20 of tickets, we were not given a refund. I would not have taken the time out to make this review if it had not ruined our expectations. The experience would've been made much more acceptable had the head of security in his golf cart been less obnoxious ? this person is catholic? no understanding, sympathy. my little girl was heartbroken that we had to leave so abruptly

This winter (Jan 27-April 7, 2019) at St. Paul's, there is an amazing contemporary art exhibit called Icons in Transformation, featuring the striking artwork of abstract expressionist Ludmila Pawlowska. The exhibit has surpassed all my expectations! Glorious art fills the courtyard, parish hall and sanctuary of St. Paul's. Tours are offered weekly on most Sundays and Mondays and there are also First Friday evening and First Saturday morning tours in March and April. Lectures by distinguished speakers and workshops by well-known artists are offered as part of the Icons in Transformation exhibit. An Icon Writing Workshop is planned for March 17-20 and a Poetry Writing Workshop is offered on April 6. You can sign up for the tours, lectures and workshops on St. Paul's website stpaulsdelray.org. Best of all, most of the art in the exhibit is for sale, and all of St. Paul's proceeds will benefit their outreach programs in the community.

This church is located in the historic West Settlers district in Delray Beach. The church was…read morefounded in 1896 by pastor N. B. Williams making it one of the oldest black Baptist churches in the area. As the congregation grew a worship building that could seat 200 people was built. Unfortunately it was destroyed in the 1928 hurricane that devastated most of Palm Beach county. Through the hard work of the congregation a 400 seat worship building was constructed in 1929. Through the years improvements were made a land was purchased for a parking lot. Eighteen pastors have helmed the church since its inception. Current pastor Lenard C. Johnson has been serving the church since 1982. Under his leadership the sanctuary now has seating for 1,000 people. A 1. 2 million dollar 50,000 square foot addition on the south side of the church was added to serve as offices, a day care, senior center, and Christian school. One of their community outreach projects is to partner with Cros Ministries in Lake worth to support the Live Fresh Shower Truck that provides showers for the homeless of Delray Beach and to help seniors sign up for the SNAP program to get supplemental food services. I was able to visit the church during the Women's Fellowship sponsored fall rummage sale in the Friendship Center. Various gently used items including clothes, books, jewelry, and home decor were for sale. My favorite find was a Kitchen Aid Mixer stand mixer for $25. The members of this church were so sweet and welcoming. I was really able to find some great treasures while supporting this worthy organization and their community outreach.

I have witnessed my children and other students encourage family members and peers to attend this church. It is a blessed testimony of how God is using its Pastors and team to reach the young adult community and surrounding families. I have attended services and watched online from NY for a few years now, and love the biblically sound teaching. Pastor Daniel Williams, Lead Pastor and Pastor Robin Shelley, Associate Pastor both teach the word of God from the Bible itself. We are taught the word and then learn how to successfully apply God's word to our lives. I started attending Redemption Church in January 2022 and call it my home church now.
