I stayed here the night of August 24, 2025 to handle legal matters at the nearby courthouse. There…read morewas a lighting storm, and this motel seemed to have the most amenities for a Wyndham in the area. Since I booked on Agoda the day of the trip, there was very little choice in rooms and was assigned Room 101, a room to the right of the pool, with one double sized bed and a bathroom with grip handles. Amenities: In the registration room, there is a cash-only ending machine that seemed 1/3 full, and a business center computer desk that was turned off when I arrived. On the opposite side of the parking lot, there is a vending machine room that only housed the ice machine (that I didn't test) and a cash-only soda machine. The pool is across the parking lot behind the office, and seemed to be a basic 35ft rectangle pool that goes from 3.5 to 6ft deep. Appliances: Everything worked. My room had a coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, and a standard 36" widescreen TV with HD DirectTV receiver with standard service. The fridge included a freezer door so that frozen stuff doesn't affect the rest of the items. The lamps also included one standard AC outlet but no USB ports. There was also a phone, and an alarm that included settings to hear two types of nature sounds, but they still sounded staticky. Cleanliness: I didn't notice any problems with bugs or dirt, The room offered two medium sized trash cans. The pool had PH balance problems that made the water slightly cloudy because of the storm, and the staff apologized for it. There were no cracks or discolorations. There were clean towels available in a sealed box. Breakfast: There is a special room for breakfast next to the registration office. It's staffed, includes coffee/water, both hot and cold cereals (oatmeal packets for hot and two bulk cereal dispensers of frosted flakes and granola for cold), the apple/orange juice machine found everywhere Wyndham, a bowl of apples, and a freezer of milk and yogurt. Guests and Vibe: The parking lot was packed by the time I came in, and because of the storm, nobody was outside. You could hear others as the stay went on, but everybody honored quiet hours. Conclusion: This place what's to be expected of a Super 8: nothing less and nothing more. 3.5 stars.

Chose this motel because of the location (reached town around 9:30pm), decent rating on Expedia,…read moreand price point (about $66-72/night for a room with one bed). Check-in was quick and easy. We enjoyed meeting a cat outside the office door before heading to our room. The room wasn't big but I liked it. The bed was pretty comfortable and I was happy to see a desk because there was a chance I'd need to do a little work on my laptop. I didn't end up using their wifi but my husband seemed happy with the wifi speed. The two negatives: It was quiet when we arrived at ~9:45pm but at some point after 10pm we started hearing a lot of noise (neighbors moving around and talking). In the morning we could clearly hear somebody listening to a radio or tv. I didn't pay attention to the words but the noise was difficult to ignore. I don't think anyone was especially loud but it still sounded like they were almost in the same room. It was pretty difficult to lock the door from outside. We were fine locking it from inside the room but I definitely struggled outside. We only stayed one night, though, so it didn't really matter. Would I stay again? Probably. I'd try to bring some ear plugs, though.

The price was 88/night plus tax and fees. Cheapest in town…read more The floor actually had sand or dirt on it which was noticed wearing socks and bare feet. Bed and bathroom were clean. TV didn't work. Door jamb was pieced together and looked like the door had been kicked in on several occasions. Owner seemed nice. I need to quit staying at the cheap hotels.
