This has to be the worst hotel room I've ever been in. Nothing is clean from the bed sheets to the sink and shower. Glad I took one before arriving. The front office where you check in looks like the manager is living in it. There were several pairs of shoes and clothes around the counter. The rooms are locked with a standard key instead of card and no extra security door latch on the inside. The price they charge per night is not worth the stay. I've stayed at a cheaper hotels for $20 less that were in way better condition than this place. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. If your traveling in an large SUV don't plan on there being a lot of room for parking. The dumpster next to the building is overflowing with garbage and all kinds of miscellaneous junk is piled up near parking lot. The only reason why I decided to stay and try it out was because they refused to cancel our reservation 23 hours before checking in. I believe in not judging a book by its cover, but I've read enough about this place and will never come back. read more

It is a safety hazard to stay here. What everyone says about the room quality is very very true. At 3:45AM two random guys were whispering outside my door, knocked lightly on the door, then tried to open it. I barricaded the door, and called the front office to have them figure out what was happening. The front didn't even answer, but claim to be a 24 hour front desk. The only reason I was even up at 3:45AM was because I had a feeling something like that would happen! If you stay here, you might legitimately die, so keep that in mind when booking! I almost called 911 on these fools. Side note, tomorrow I will be filing a claim with the better business bureau. If the owner doesn't want that, then I suggest they contact me immediately. So in a brief summary, if you want to potentially die, then stay here!!! If not, DO NOT STAY HERE! read more

Nastiest place we have ever seen in real life! It's filthy and stinks so badly! It was a non smoking room but obviously people smoke in there. Plus there were bugs crawling all over the bathroom floor!!! Not to mention the layer of dust everywhere and in the window with dead bugs. I feel like I'm going to throw up. We booked off Hotels.Com and as soon as we pulled into the parking lot we knew there was no way we were going to stay there. It looks like it is probably full-time residence for folks and looked horrible from the outside. I would not recommend this property. read more

Run, don't walk away. To their benefit, the owners mean well. The structure is simply so old and dilapidated that they almost need to level it and rebuild. When I checked in the office smelled like garlic and it was cluttered and messy. The staff was friendly. I got my room key (not key card, actual key) and I'm on the top floor by request because I don't want to hear loud stomping above me. I get into the room, and granted, I only paid $59 but damn! The room had fairly new flooring, a linoleum that resembled a wood floor. I believe they sweep, but I don't think hey mop because walking barefoot the bottoms of my feet turned black. The bathroom looked like vintage 1972. The cover in the toilet tank isn't event the right cover. The bathtub had rust and soap scum stains. The AC had not been on all day, so the room was close to 90 degrees and even running the AC it never cooled off to a comfortable level. They never gave me the wifi password, and there was no phone to call downstairs. No elevator, so not ADA compliant at all. The smoke detector was missing, and the shower curtain was old and stained. I figured for $59, I can get by. The next day I went to visit someone at the prison, and when I returned I realized that the $59 rate apparently does not include maid service because my room had not been cleaned. I had left the AC on when I left, so at least it was cool when I came in. The fridge and microwave worked, but the bathroom mirror was mounted to high on the wall for me to see in it (I'm 5'1"). Yes, short girl problems. It also smelled like people smoked in the room. There is a no smoking sign, but I think smoking may have been authorized in the past. There was a guy outside painting the exterior, so I think they are trying to do better. They just don't have the resources to give it he TLC it needs. If you're looking for cheap, sleep, and shower, this will work for you. If you want any level of creature comfort, keep moving. read more

We stayed here on short notice. I guess you get what you pay for. All the floors are creaky, the toilet stall in the bathroom is very narrow making it impossible for a proper wipe. They do have a microwave and mini-fridge. I tried to use the microwave with the tv on and it tripped the breaker. Frustrating... No coffee maker. The free WiFi is really limited and could barely check my Fb. No phone in the room. Only 1 accessible outlet to plug in to. Drawer in the nightstand is broken. Fan was broken. Towel rack in bathroom also broken. Free HBO? Was only able to get Starz and encore. Lots of sketchy people hanging around outside. Don't be surprised when someone comes out of their room to ask you for a cigarette. You can also hear road noise inside your room. But the room was clean. We won't be back. read more

If I could give this minus stars, I would. We got into town around 7 pm, and couldn't find anyplace else in town to stay. Because the price was only $57, we rented it sight-unseen. It was a decrepit old room with gaps in the door, and no security locks. The owner gave me an actual key, not an electronic one. I tried to turn on the very old TV with the remote control, and found the remote wasn't programmed to the TV. I figured I could Google how to program it, but, despite the sign saying "Free WiFi", there wasn't enough signal to access the internet. When my wife went to the car, the people staying next door (as well as several others) looked like permanent residents. They also appeared to be very familiar with the seamier side of society. My wife was too frightened to stay there. The owner refused to refund our money. He said that if I'd come to him within a couple of minutes, he could've refunded it, but because it was fifteen minutes or so, it was too late. We left anyway, and ended up driving over two hours to find the next nearest place to stay. I echo wholeheartedly the comments of James P on 9/22/18 and Tristie O on 7/17/18. read more

I have never seen such a filthy discussing motel in my life. We made reservations through booking.com while we were on the road. When we arrived I felt right away that this could be a great place to be killed. Dogs were barking from the rooms downstairs, when you climb a lot of stairs to get to the office you are greeted with a lot and I mean a lot of shoes on the floor and dirty office. When I asked to see the room she didn't want to show it to us but she did. Upon entering this discussing room I looked at her and said there was no way I could stay there. On the way out of the room she smashed a bug on the floor ( looked like a roach). I asked for my money back and she said that booking.com would be the ones to get my refund. I called booking.com and was told that the owner of the motel is the only one to give refunds. This was her 2nd lie to us the first is when we asked about dogs she told us they were not allowed. When I told her I heard one barking from a room downstairs she replied that that was the only floor they were allowed in. Booking.com called her on my behalf and she said no refund. We were not granted a refund she keep our money. No mater how desperate you are for a room DON'T stay here. I would have rather stayed at the Bates Motel!! read more
