Picked up some food from Laliguras and was so happy with what we got! We got an order of the steamed veg momo, fried veg momo, and 2 of the veg chowmein noodles. The noodles were the perfect amount of spicy, and the momo were very flavorful. Everything tasted like authentic Nepalese food! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Delicious Christmas night dinner! Our favorites were the samosa chaat, dal tadka, and chicken tikka masala. The paratha was flaky and buttery. The food came quickly, service was attentive, and the food was amazing.

Really yummy and very reasonably priced! Vegan friendly. The server was so nice! He helped us find vegan items and said he could make certain items vegan when we asked. Also knew what was gluten free and not. The Dahl was super flavorful, and the veggie pakora was really well done. Loved both the dipping sauces. Would come back! Perfect outdoor swatting on Church Street not far from Red Square so can often hear live music coming from there. Lovely.

Still dreaming that I'm back at this restaurant... we stopped here on our way through Burlington and I'm so glad that we did. Since it was a beautiful day, we decided to eat outside the restaurant, which was overlooking a busy street that was perfect for some people-watching. We ended up ordering mango lassi, samosas, goat biryani, and chicken korma, which were all spectacular. We even ended up having enough leftovers for a couple meals afterwards! I would highly recommend checking this restaurant out if you're looking for some delicious Indian food in the area.

Food was bland & not very flavorful. The shrimp was hard. It was quite stuffy & warm inside.

They also have some vegetables, frozen food, some cheap looking household deco stuff, and calling cards to India and Asian countries. The store is owned and operated by a Nepali family and is quite evident when you see them all hanging out behind the counter like it was their living room. The owner did ask me to let him know if I needed something in particular or if I couldn't find what I was looking for. The store didn't look particularly clean or organized which is typical of Asian stores in many places. I purchased some Indian chips/snacks to give them some business. The owner's wife was curious of my iPhone photo snaps both inside and outside the store and asked, "Why are you taking pictures?" I replied, "To help you guys grow your business by letting others know on social media ..........like Facebook, Twitter, Yelp.....!! What I don't remember are good momos. April 8th, 2024. The eleventh hour. We were short on time. The streets are never this crowded. Everyone was excited. Coming from the SF Bay Area, we have very good access to good momos at least in South Bay. What we got this day in Burlington would have been a great challenger to all the Momo shops in the Bay Area that I'm typing this review in right now. (Ignore the dashes in words. I don't want people to find my review using the words with dashes because this was a special day.) ----------------- 3 orders of momos. Chai. The restaurant was absolutely over-whelmed. The front of the restaurant were packed to the br-im with customers wai-ting for their takeout orders. We had to wa-it ha-lf an ho-ur for ours. After all, the steamers could cook only so many momos at once. Everyone was nervous, excited, and on their toes. Yet, service was not compromised. The owner, understanding our frustration, gave us some mango lassi while we waited. We're finally opened up the tin container when we got to our viewing location, which was around, 20 minutes? We loved it. The momos were still warm and juicy. The flavors were relatively basic, rustic, but also felt very healthy, in a sense that it was missing that je ne sais quoi, that roundness in taste, that I assume is a LACK of MSG. What kicked this into 11 was the chutney it came with. More tomato heavy than my average experience. You could taste how clean the tomatoes were. It was FRESH! Now, that was ahead of a special event that may never happen in this Burlington again in our lifetime. I imagine things would be even better on any other day.

I am a huge fan of momos and always looking for a chance to dine out…read more Friends love this place and we decided to go during the holidays and do a family style dinner. We ordered fried and steam momos to start, a combo of vegetable ones and chicken ones. Nepali bread (I forget the name, but was like fluffy pancakes), Butter Chicken, Bainghan Barta, Goat Curry, Saag Paneer and Nepali Chow Mein as suggested by the owner for the main dishes. The momos and chow mein were awesome. The other dishes were not as good as I've had elsewhere (including when I make at home). The goat was very tough and chewy, which was unfortunate, as goat can be tender and amazing. I would recommend coming for true nepali dishes only. Yes, Indian food is found in Nepal, but focus on the Nepali dishes and you can't go wrong. Also, it's a BYOB/W, so feel free to bring wine or beer (there's a store down the street if you forget.

Not only is the food delicious with large servings, but the folks at the restaurant are extremely nice (that alone makes me want to keep going back!). I usually opt for saag paneer, paratha, and steamed veggie momos. The saag paneer is creamy with lots of rice, the paratha buttery and flavorful, and the momos (I think they come with 8 or 10? it's a lot!) have a nice, spicy sauce to accompany. This amount of food usually lasts me at least 3 meals, and tastes just as delicious over the next day or so as I indulge. I haven't been able to eat in yet (COVID :)) but the takeout is usually ready within 30-40 minutes. They do get busy, so just call ahead with plenty of time - and when you're in there waiting, they'll make sure to update you and get your food ready as soon as they can.
