Honey Road is perfect for upscale shared plates. Every bite was flavorful and unique. Service was great, we didn't feel rushed but still finished dinner in 1.5 hours. I ordered the heat of passion cocktail which had a great passionfruit flavor and subtle spice. My dad had the Fair Weather Friend which was a rye based drink but not strong and very floral tasting. For 4 people we shared the whipped goat cheese, muhammara (with pita and crudite), 2 orders of dates (it only comes with 2 dates/order), harissa chicken wings, crispy potatoes, and spinach and cheese pide. We had the tahini sundae for dessert. The portions are smaller than I expected for the price (expect to spend $50-$75 pp) but that was my only issue, would definitely go back again for a special occasion!

Best food I had in Vermont and best I've had in a while. The cheeseboat, the last thing on the entree menu, was the best thing. Most expensive and it was so worth it. The sauce and flavors within that are crazy. The dolmas so good. Not notes The kale salad could've been massaged more. Kinda tough to chew. Loved the quinoa tho. The wings were insane. So tasty and almost sweet like a dessert. I LOVED this meal.

Everytime I plan a trip to Burlington making a reservation at honey Road is the first thing I do. They even allow you to make a selection of wire you're celebrating and any allergies. When I arrive, they always have my menu marked with my net allergy and items crossed out that I'm allergic to. The service is superb and all the waitresses are so nice. The best drink is a tear and a smile. The menu is always changing, but the classics that you must order are the kale salad and chicken wings. The chicken things are the best item on the menu. Don't take them for takeout because they are not as fresh. You also must get the hummus and pita the whipped cheese is always good. Haloumi Cheese was great. Pearl and lilet blanc are also great drinks. All of the desserts are really good. best restaurant highly recommend.

This is a great Eastern Mediterranean restaurant that serves very delicious food. Walked in on a busy Thursday evening. To our surprise, we got seated at the bar after a 5-minute wait. Our server Madison gave great recommendations not only for the food but also places to visit around the area. Milk and honey, which had gin, honey, lavender, lemon, and labne was refreshing. It was a little strong for me but it was very very good. Sweet Harissa chicken wings, shrimp & shishito shish, cheese and lamb sausage pide, baba ganoush & pita were all delicious. The pistachio & fig tart was heavenly. The tangy fig went well with everything. Tahini sundae was great. Great food, ambience and service. Would definitely recommend.

Yet another exceptional dinner at honey road. Every single dish and every single meal we've ever had here has been, and I quote, "the most delicious thing I've ever tasted."

Excellent!! Everything we tried was great. Good prices, glad we found it on our day trip through Burlington. Wings were great, dolma was perfect.

I have only great things to say about this experience-food, service, atmosphere were all outstanding. Since it is Mediterranean tapas we shared a bunch of dishes. The highlight was the sweet harissa wings-perfectly crispy with the most addictive sauce. Other great dishes were the kale salad with crispy quinoa, cucumbers with spicy feta, baklava, and the fresh, warm pita. Great cocktail and drink list too. I only wish I had been hungry enough to try more things.

I love this place. Not because of perfection but more like every town needs at least one of this to enjoy food and drinks. I stumbled into the restaurant at the end of the touristy downtown area. They were packed but found me a spot at the bar. Great hostess and bar service. Small plates are great. Seared Haloumi - excellent though a bit on the sweet side (but then I am a bitter person) Shishito special was amazing - perfect texture and balance. Braised lamb bun was a great sandwich.

Honey Road is just incredible. My husband and I were able to score a Friday night reservation, and the restaurant was BUSY. That being said, the food was just phenomenal. We ended up getting the kale salad, baba ganoush, a house-made pita, the farm greens salad, and the tahini sundae. The food was fantastic. I am not a fan of kale, typically, but the kale salad was out of this world. The restaurant is fairly deep, but there was quite a bit of seating and things were comfortable. The restaurant is decorated with lamps and pillows. The food was delicious, and I would pretty much recommend for everyone in the area to come to this place. If we're ever back in the area, we will definitely be stopping by. The meal from start to finish was phenomenal. The Tahini Sundae was particularly delicious and we loved the halva threads on top.

Everything we had was delicious and even the picky eaters (grandpa/kids) found something they like. The owners/chefs at Zaytoona come from Jordan and Yemen I believe and the cuisine is an eclectic and unique mix of middle eastern food with some of the classics like kebabs, shawarma, falafel, lentil soup, and Kafta. My kids actually loved the lentil soup, but our fav. pre-main was the Muhammara although I wish they had given more pita bread to match the amount of sauce that comes with it. We tried the fatoush and rocca salads and while both were good, we preferred the latter. For mains we shared the mixed lamb and beef shawarma, lamb shish kabab (we had wanted to try the special slow cooked lamb shank but they were all out and the waiter said the shish kebab was just as good), and the fries. Everything was tasty and fairly priced. For deserts we shared the saffron cake, mango coconut like pudding, and my fav, the kunafa. The latter reminded me of a very crispy, perfect blend of salt and sweet mozzarella stick and was so so good. The pomegranate lemonade helped wash it down and I liked the tangy sourness of it. Our kids enjoyed the special mango drink. Service was prompt here and staff were friendly. The ambiance was great here and seating area is more upscale than I expected. Glad that this place exists in the Burlington area and I would love to come back.

For sure that's true in here. They don't even have any seats. A good option at lunch or later. It's open late at night. The place is pretty cheap looking inside, and there's only these tables without any chairs, so if you eat in here you'll be standing. Another good reason to get it to go. The menu has typical Middle Eastern stuff. A lot of pitas to get. It's $9 to get the Falafel Pita. A pretty typical looking one. Pretty big though. Comes with the usual toppings on it. There's cucumbers, tahini, and tomatoes. A few other choices for vegetarians are on the menu. These include the Pakora Pita and Samosas. Among the other menu choices is the Breakfast Burrito. These are served all day, so get these any time. Certainly it looks pretty sketchy in here. It's not bad food though. There's plenty of choices for vegans and vegetarians.

I got the Northender (gin, mint simple syrup) and a margarita sans salt. Both were pricy ($13) given the small size but refreshing nevertheless. The hummus was small and bread tasty but served cold. I would not recommend the fattouch as it was a small mixed greens and red onion with toasted pita ($9) not worth it by any stretch of the imagination. The kofta and teensy tiny "salad" also not a value. Very tasty but not worth it. I will say the bartender was ON IT and attentive without being 'too much' - deserves h We ordered the deal for 2 people at $32 which includes two proteins and the fixings. We also ordered a fattouche salad as well as a chopped salad that comes with kofta. Overall a solid B for quality ingredients, but not at all authentic (not halal by the way). It scratched an itch but missed the mark on both authenticity/small portion size for price ratio. Nice folks and local vibe.

A decadent, gluttonous, unapologetic mess of everything good in this world. Crispy, golden spuds acting as a stage for a heaping, chaotic mound of tender, spiced gyro meat, drizzled in a symphony of sauces--tangy, creamy, and just the right amount of heat to remind you you're alive. This isn't just bar food or late-night munchies. It's a masterclass in controlled indulgence. Each bite, a reminder that sometimes, the best meals aren't plated with tweezers but piled high with reckless abandon.
