They also extended and buried one of my gutters to ensure that water was in fact flowing far away from my foundation. Living on clay soil, this meant that I went from having a babbling brook in my basement during rainstorms, to no water coming in at all. To hire a boiler companies to come out and replace pipes is insanely expensive, and not really worth it if they are not working on the boiler itself. (I don't think the pipe cares who replaces it)! That part out of the way, after having major disasters in the past, and calling some local boiler companies (who I won't name), I tried Preferred plumbing last year and again this morn. They came out and fixed it before there was any damage. Unlike the boiler company who was scheduled out for weeks and let me stew in my own live steam. Matt, and Brett, and Cooper are the best! Great guys - they know what they're doing, and they don't waste your time. They're so personable, I probably wasted THEIR time talking to them too much! I'm so satisfied that I have decided to finally replace the waterline in my house sometime in the next few months, using Preferred Plumbing, because I completely trust them now. Not only were they quick to respond, they did great work, they did it well, and as usual, they came in at a very reasonable price. I grew up in Michigan, but I've only been back here since 2015, and you know how hard it is to find professionals that you can trust in a new town.
