To hire a boiler companies to come out and replace pipes is insanely expensive, and not really worth it if they are not working on the boiler itself. (I don't think the pipe cares who replaces it)! That part out of the way, after having major disasters in the past, and calling some local boiler companies (who I won't name), I tried Preferred plumbing last year and again this morn. They came out and fixed it before there was any damage. Unlike the boiler company who was scheduled out for weeks and let me stew in my own live steam. Matt, and Brett, and Cooper are the best! Great guys - they know what they're doing, and they don't waste your time. They're so personable, I probably wasted THEIR time talking to them too much! I'm so satisfied that I have decided to finally replace the waterline in my house sometime in the next few months, using Preferred Plumbing, because I completely trust them now. Not only were they quick to respond, they did great work, they did it well, and as usual, they came in at a very reasonable price. I grew up in Michigan, but I've only been back here since 2015, and you know how hard it is to find professionals that you can trust in a new town. The technician worked about an hour and a half and thought we had a problem taken care of. The technician left. About two hours later it started acting up again. I called her after hours phone number . They came back out last night worked again for about another hour and a half was able to find the problem and fix it. At my age I remembered his name because he is such a good person and in these times I am proud to say he is a very good Christian young man! He also had a very kind staff that was always helpful. I called our son in law to see if he knew of one, "DC Plumbing, they're real good!" I called and sent an email. Panicking, I looked for more emergency service plumbers. I called a total of 5, one actually answered the phone. I received a quote,, it was 10:45 now and I was quoted late afternoon early evening. I said I would call them back if I had no luck finding someone else. I checked my email and there was a response from DC Plumbing. The owner was very apologetic that he couldn't get out to our home that day, but he could come first thing the next day. At that point, it was good enough, so we waited. I am so glad we did. We saved money by not using an emergency service, and his workers were here right when he said they would be. They were in and out in roughly 10 minutes and did a wonderful job. The owner was extremely thorough, I sent pictures of the leak to help (as asked). Promptness responding as well as service by great employees! Hard to find these days for sure. I have already sent their information to a few friends. I wouldn't call anyone else. By the way, the other 24 hour service plumbers, never responded back until the next morning, except for one, I never heard from them.

I paid this guy $250 to install a new spigot on the back of my house last summer due to my old one…read morefreezing. Less than eight months later, the entire spigot broke and is hanging off of my house. I never had that happen in the 18 years I've owned the house and all I did was attach a garden hose to it. I asked the owner if he warrantees his work, and he said no. Two of my coworkers who fix plumbing issues in the park regularly, told me not only was I overcharged, but it was installed poorly with nothing supporting it inside. If you're thinking about having him out to fix a plumbing issue, I would think twice. It also took two emails to receive his two sentence response.
