Probably my recent favourite noodle restaurant that I went too. If you want to try different soups than ramen and pho , this is the place to go. The environment is aesthetically pleasing and instagram worthy. The food is worth the price!! I recommend ordering the beef brisket noodle soup and house special tea.

Had lunch at Lambo. I like that there is free parking out front of the restaurant. The restaurant is quite spacious, clean and modern-looking. Food: well, it's really, really good! Ordered Beef Brisket with tendon noodle soup, both the regular and the clear broths. I particularly liked the one with the darker broth. It had a deeper flavour and had mustard greens added to the broth. Also ordered Mustard Greens and Pork Dumplings and the seasonal vege- Shanghai bok Choi with good in sauce. Broth needs to be a tad hotter. We like the good cos everything was eaten in haste!! Great customer service. Will be back!

We are VERY IMPRESSED by their beef noodle soup. So surprised to find that traditional Taiwanese taste here in Calgary. It tastes like home. And I'm sure if you like Chinese food or Taiwanese food, you'll be impressed by this place. We came in here on 9/20 and 9/19/2019 for dinner. (We are in our vocation trip to Banff and Calgary). The waitress was SO friendly and professional! She smiles all the time and takes care of each table! One person takes care of the entire restaurant with speed and kind service. Really good job! If you want a bowl of decent hot soup and a traditional Taiwanese taste after a cold day, I certainly recommend their beef noodle soup to you. Feedback to manager, you definitely shouldn't just put 1 staff serving all the tables and doing busing and doing cashier. It's not professional and might make you lose a few stars if you do this long term. The waitress on 9/19 and 9/20-- she's doing good job so I'm giving 5 stars. But hopefully this will be improved in the future

Lots of parking and good tasting noodle soup! Overall, worth trying although slightly on the pricey side. The Taiwanese fried popcorn chicken is a real downer. It came out not with the expected spices and a small dish of dip. Dip?! Dip?! Dip for Taiwanese fried chicken?!?!?! I wish they offer the fermented cabbage for the beef noodle soup! It'll be even more authentic! The portion is on the small side for the price paid and can be easily improved with a tad bit more noodle and vege (instead of a small half of bakchoy). However, I love the generous, thick and tender beef chunks! I will be back to try more noodles!! And maybe a drink next time!

Traditional Lan Zhou Hand Pulled Noodle since 1915. Place your order via kiosk. Easy to navigate. The female employee helped us answer questions. Coincidentally, our order number was 888. I selected Hand Pulled Noodle in Beef Soup with flat and wide noodles. Female employee asked me if I would like chili oil on the side. Hard to resist. I'm happy I accepted the offer because the chili oil tasted very fresh and added some spice and depth to the soup. Same employee was very kind, thoughtful and forward thinking to ask if I would like the Deep Fried Steamed Bun with condensed milk now or toward the end of my meal. I responded, "At the end of my meal, please." Pillowy soft on inside, heat hot in its entirety, with slight crunch on outside. Dessert complemented condensed milk. Highly recommend. Worth visiting and returning.

It was a pleasant surprise to partake of Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles which were like silk! Tons of lamb choices. I'm always down for lamb and I was in my element. My lamb noodle dish had those "curtain noodles" with tons of vegetables and highly seasoned lamb - cumin and chili - 100% Northern Chinese. So delicious. Spouse had a lovely braised beef soup with thin noodles, scented with five-spice My only minor criticism is that my lamb noodles were a tad oily. Portions are large, prices are what they are these days. Highly recommend!

This restaurant in Calgary's Chinatown was highly recommended by a family member, and they were…read moreabsolutely right. We had been eating overly heavy dinners over the past few days, so we decided to be relatively gentle with our order this time. Here is a breakdown of what we tried: Xiao Long Bao (小籠包 - Soup Dumplings): This is my daughter's favorite, so we ordered two baskets for her. They were executed beautifully. They were well-steamed on a clean sheet, and thankfully, there was no grayish blood seeping out of the meat. The wrapper (麵 皮) was right on the spot--not too hard or soft, not too thick or thin, and it didn't have that rubbery "chewing gum" or mushy "play dough" texture you get at lesser places. The pork filling tasted clean with no funky pork smell. Very nice. Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup: This was just okay, but to be fair, I don't expect a flawless bowl of beef noodle soup from a restaurant that doesn't strictly specialize in it (especially at a Dim Sum-focused spot). The broth was a bit plain and served lukewarm. The tendon, however, was well-cooked and well-marinated with a pleasant taste; it was a bit on the firmer side, which didn't bother me. The noodles were on the softer, sparser side rather than dense and chewy. I personally prefer a firmer noodle, but again, I can't complain too much given the venue. Spicy Tofu and Preserved Egg (麻辣皮蛋豆腐): I really liked this dish. The tofu had a fantastic, fresh soy taste, the preserved egg was delicious, and the chili oil and soy sauce dressing was perfectly balanced. If you are wondering what these "black eggs" are and feel a bit hesitant or concerned about trying them, I highly recommend giving them a shot here. This dish will easily fix those concerns! Overall, it was a great meal. I will definitely return, and next time we have the appetite, I'll dive deeper into the dishes they truly specialize in.

It tasted more milky and not very sweet (I got 100% sugar). 2. The boba: 3/5! small and chewy pieces, not flavored/sweetened 3. Service: 5/5! The people working the register were so sweet and the drinks came out really fast. :) The oolong milk tea was better than the original milk tea because the oolong tea flavor was prominent. They also serve food if you are hungry. The prices were super reasonable.

Out here in Calgary, there seems to be plenty to go around! Happy Tea is by far my favorite! I've tried the majority of their fruit teas. Pineapple, peach, green apple, lemon, passion fruit, grapefruit, lychee. My favourite so far is the passion fruit but I'm also a big fan of the lemon as well as the pineapple and peach. I'm not big into the milk teas but I plan to work my way into trying the slush drinks as well. I like adding the lychee popping pearls in the fruit teas. My partner enjoys getting the brown sugar milk tea. Although she wishes they had an oat milk option, she still enjoys the drink and orders it every time. The staff are always super friendly and the place is always very clean. Glad there is a place walking distance that we enjoy so much.
