Last night I came with a group of other single ladies in the area, since they had an extra ticket for "Legally Blonde". It was weird that to check in to this location, I had to step outside. People were saying that the metal building blocks phone signals. But it was a wonderful play! It was difficult to get in & out of the parking lot, & it may get crowded out there. But I hope to go to other plays here!

Great people that do a great job…read more I went and saw "The Drunkard". This was my first visit and was welcomed with open arms. The volunteers and staff were very easy to talk with and very warm. It is a very different experience from the big theatre companies of Dallas, Houston, Vegas, Sacramento and such. It is a small house and all of the thespians are more than friendly. This is not a small time production company just because it is in a smaller venue. At the end of the show all of the cast and crew were easily accessible for autographs and general dialogue. Parking is a first come first serve and so is seating. In saying that, neither are an issue.

The past productions have run from the family-friendly ("The Christmas Carol"-I've gone the last two seasons!) to the risque' ("The Shape of Things"-one of my all-time faves!) This season's lineup looks to be more of the same and I could not be happier about that! The season kicks off September 30th with "The Glory of Living" , a finalist for the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. It also plays October 1, 2, 6-8. The next production will be "Five Women Wearing The Same Dress", a comedy by Alan Ball, writer and producer of "True Blood" and "American Beauty". It runs from November 10-13.
