There were multiple activities (a train set up to play with, playhouse, block building, light board). Nice weather outside? This place is also perfect for strolling outside to all their interactive exhibits and trails. We've been to railroad museums before so to be able to get inside a rail car without rules of "no touching" "look only," it was nice to let the kid climb and explore all the sections inside. Older children? They have year round activities for them too available before you begin a tour. Each exhibit in the museum has some type of interesting fact or older kiddo scavenger hunt.

Chulita Hill Farm and Creamery is a goat farm owned by couple, Tracy and Merci. Their farm is…read morelocated just miles from town and includes goats, chickens, ducks, and friendly cats and dogs. I got to meet the head goat, Ricky who is father to many of the other goats and also well known in town, even having a beer named after him at the Fredonia brewery. The animals are friendly and happy and Merci milks the goats every morning. She makes cheese on site. They are still developing some of the area with plans to have an educational component where children can come to learn about the process of making cheese. The best part is the farm store. There are scrubs and lotions, tinctures, cocktail syrups and wonderfully scented soaps, all made here at the farm! My favorite product is the fire cider. This is a great place to visit to get locally made quality products and get to see where they came from!
