We make our own pizza and we considered this one even better than ours. The crust was fantastic. The only drawback is that they do not have an air-conditioned area and this is the summer in Texas so it was extremely hot outside even at 6 PM at night. This would be a great place for a small event or to especially visit in the spring or fall in Texas. The venue is a nice outside garden type of atmosphere with a pavilion set with tables for eating pizza and tasting wine. We will go back when the weather is a little cooler.

For $10 you can taste 6 wines and keep your wine glass. The staff member (sorry, I forgot her name) asked a few questions to gauge what kinds of wine that she thought I would like to try and she was spot on. She was very very knowledgeable about all the wines and her pours were generous. She even let me try a couple if extra wines. My personal favorites were the C'est La Vie, Cajun Culade, and the Penelope Peach. We wound up buying a bottle of each since they was all delicious and deciding on just one was impossible. The property was beautiful and very picturesque to enjoy a glass of wine by. The tasting room/shop has a patio that overlooks a pond with swans and a barn. Would be great for hosting an event at. For two tastings, 3 bottles of wine and a candle our total was around $79 which I thought was very reasonable. I can't wait to return with some more friends next time I'm in town.
