For someone just taking a blind leap, I couldn't be happier with my choice. Right after I started my sessions my husband had an acute injury to his back and the surgeon wanted him to try therapy before he considered surgery which he did not want to do. He knew about PT Solutions through me and so he too signed up. I am a nurse practitioner and my husband is an RN. We have a fair amount of experience with physical therapy modalities and can certainly recognize competency in the staff. The therapist, Diana is very knowledgeable and we felt at ease with her immediately. There was a student there being mentored by Diane so she was in teaching mode and having two sets of eyes and input was doubly instructive. I finished my therapy before my husband and I was thoroughly instructed on home exercises and informed I could come back in for "fine tuning" at any time. My husband finished today. He has had chronic back pain for years and since faithfully doing his exercises he has had a remarkable recovery. We both will continue our home exercises because we certainly have seen the benefit. I cannot recommend PT Solutions enough. The clinic is spacious, clean and attractive. Diane is excellent. If PT is in your future, please consider this clinic. You will not regret your decision.

I have been dealing with the doctor's office in Ruskin and it's the same sad situation. They claim that they call when they don't. They schedule appointments and then cancel them without your knowledge. When confronted, they change their stories and try to backtrack. I have requested a call from a supervisor and have left a message for their corporate compliance department. We will see if they will bother to call me back. Stay away from these people. I cannot believe that this is the way they allow themselves to conduct themselves. Rude, disrespectful, unprofessional. I told her that she was being unprofessional and explained to her that my job requires me to deal with medical provides on daily basis and that she was being unprofessional. In response, she has an audacity to say that I must be rude to them as well. The nerve! She is professional, helps him feel comfortable, and is able to get him to follow instructions. She makes a consistent effort to feed, clean, and exercise with him, and includes both mental and physical activities. She is self‑motivated, hardworking, and needs only minimal guidance to meet our needs. She is truly an asset to BrightStar. Our other regular caregiver is Honesty, and we are very happy with her as well. She has worked hard to gain my dad's trust, which makes it much easier for her to help him. She is great with all aspects of the job: she cleans, cooks, does laundry, and communicates well. One thing she told us was that BrightStar was an agency committed to helping BOTH of my parents in case of an emergency or natural disaster/hurricane even though only my dad was the patient. This was invaluable to me as I snowbird and cannot always be in Florida with my parents. I'd like to recognize each of our caregivers from BrightStar-- Melissa--the first caregiver in the home. She had a difficult job wooing my dad into accepting help but, she was graceful and knew her job so well that he was totally impressed and receptive to her care. Dino--Very flexible. Dad didn't want to shower that day but, Dino allowed him to wait while she moved forward with housekeeping. She gave him a bath in his recliner-- difficult but, we were so grateful that she could convince my dad to clean up. Dino jumped right in and completed many tasks with grace and professionalism. Angel-- She came as an unscheduled visit because dad was declining. (Kudos again to BrightStar as we called and they were able to send Angel within 1.5 hours!!! Excellent service response!!!) Angel recognized right away that dad needed more help than she could safely provide. Angel did the right thing and called her supervisor for help. The supervisor came quickly and they worked TOGETHER AS A TEAM to help my dad! Again-- AMAZING customer service by BrightStar!!! The food is great and families can join in for a meal. The only downside was having to wear paper type diapers as an accident by many can result in wet clothing and bedding. No photos are allowed due to privacy but staff will show you around when no patients are in there. Just on word of caution don't bring anything of value or credit cards as items have a way of disappearing. I came here straight from Morton Plant Hospital and had my fanny pack turn up missing. I had a credit card in it so when it mysteriously reappeared we had to cancel my card.

They worked hard together each session to overcome the difficulties he was having and the frustration he was feeling.
