When I finally got through to their answering service after the office closed I only got return calls from nurses. They refused to give me the covid meds even though I have emphysema and I ended up with long covid. Thank God I have a great pulmonologist in Philadelphia to go see. Now I was bitten by a stray cat and when I called, the nurse refused to put me through to a doctor and said I should be calling the police to find out what to do. I don't call my doctor for legal advice, I call for medical advice. I need to know whether or not to get the shots for rabies or not.

The woman at the front desk, maybe 50 something, looks completely miserable and is out to pick a fight. Every question or word she said was laced with attitude, constant interruption to simple questions (like your birthday, address, etc.) and should definitely not be in customer service. During this, another patient walks out from her appointment and stands behind me t check out. The front desk agent yells back and asks her if she needs to check out and the woman responds that she just needs a copay refund, per her doctor, as she should not have been charged a copay since it was a followup. She was very polite. The front desk agent rolls her eyes and yells back at the woman, with the b*tchiest tone of voice possible, that she doesn't even know what that is. Like, shocked and disgusted at the fact she might have to do *work*. Gasp! Really?! I go to sign my release form after she fills it out, I sign in the wrong spot- here comes a more heightened layer of attitude. She asks if I have an address for my previous medical office (I didn't) - she says "Well we need that" AGAIN, with an attitude, like she is going to send me away before doing a simple Google search. I do it myself in 1 second. This woman just looked absolutely miserable. Everyone in line was looking at each other like WTF is wrong with this lady. If she was my employee she wouldn't make it 1 day. I'm debating requesting my appointment be at an alternate location if this is any indication of what their level of service is.

We signed on with Direct Primary Care so we at least have physician coverage. I have chronic issues that need monitoring. I receive the utmost care from this practice, better than mainstream insurance bound practices. Since being with them, they have given me the tools to lose over 60 lbs in a year and reduce my chances of type 2 diabetes and cholesterol. Something I have struggled with for many years.
