    Long straight rd

I really don't like this trail. I guess for running or biking it's ok but not for walking. It's just plain straight rd, no shade so super hot, not much scenery. I really don't have much to say...

    Well marked trail

This is a great bike trail! It is well paved and well marked at every quarter mile. There are no commercial buildings on the trail. Mostly fields, trees, and two ponds and a few backyards. There are a few different spots that you can park at. I prefer the Walter Winter Road entrance because this allows you to do the full four miles, and turn around for the four back to your car, therefore you get the full eight mile ride in, also this is the largest parking lot. You do have to cross about 3-4 streets on the trail, but otherwise no traffic at all. The trail is not very crowded, but there are certainly people on the trail, walking, jogging, or biking. Beautiful trail!

A hidden gem located in the Lancaster, Depew area thats great for walking, jogging/running or biking. A great way to exercise and enjoy warm, nice weather, the trail is 4 miles each way.

We looooove this trail for bike riding; we hop on right on Town Line Rd. and can go for 4 miles down past Pavement and into Lancaster. The route is relatively without hills which makes for a relaxing bike ride. It is always very clean and there are people around so it feels safe but not too crowded. Perfect location to ride or walk or skate, whatever your heart desires. Only qualm is no bathrooms or water, but that's normal for a trail so all is good.

Great place to walk. Not a lot of parking. Wide paved path with a beautiful view of nature and wildlife.

    Are dogs allowed?

I don't know the official answer but I did see at least one leashed dog while riding my bike.

Interesting facts learned on fireflies: they like leafy dark areas, eat slugs, and snails and really lite up the park. Paved trail, not very long, perfect for quick walk or hike to explore the many trees. Family, everyone friendly.

This is such a beautiful park to enjoy a nice walk, jog, a bike ride or to go fishing (no spots to play sports of any kind here). There are a couple small grassy areas you can sit with a blanket and have a small picnic, eat lunch or bring your own lawn chair and enjoy a book. Plenty of benches to sit down, relax and enjoy the view of the water. In addition, the trees provide lots of shaded areas to appreciate as you walk through the paved trail on a hot summer day. Lastly, there are a lot of droppings from the geese (the children were stressing about avoiding it). I didn't see a playground during my walk but there is a very nice playground available for the children in front of the library that is located adjacent to the park entrance - you'll see it. I used my GPS to get here and parked at the courthouse parking lot, there was a path to where the trail starts - in my photos. Bring bug spray and sunblock in the summer and enjoy a stroll after a good meal. Rated this park four stars because I would probably only come back to take a walk if I'm already in the area but there's nothing here you absolutely have to see if you were visiting Buffalo. However, the park is beautiful and serene. If there was more to do or picnic tables for families to sit and eat, I would give it five stars.
