Why is it I can never reach this office? I love Dr. Kuehnling as my doctor, but the way this office is run is a joke. I received a call to remind me I had an appointment. Apparently at my last physical a year before this appointment was made. It was on a day I had to work. As soon as I got the message I tried to call. It took my 3 phone calls waiting at one point over 20 minutes to get through to cancel an appointment. HELLO, my time is valuable too. I am busy too! Well whoever took my cancellation did not actually cancel the appointment and I was rewarded with a $50 no show fee. I have now called 4x trying to speak to someone about this and cannot reach a person. They call me back with a message to call them back. Are they for real??? This is not worth my time. I have been seeing Dr. Cleary for about 4 years now and am totally pleased with him and the medical practice. I never had to wait longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room, staff has always been courteous and I don't feel rushed through my appointment. read more

I have been a patient for about 6 years.I went in recently for a problem with my foot.I was sent next door to Windsong for an xray.I went home and called a few days later and was told it was arthritis.I was then given the names of 2 orthopedics to see.I then schedualed to see a doctor at ECMC.They told me to get the xray from Lancaster Medical.I wrote LM on my portal and asked that they send the xray to the doctor at ECMC and if that was not possible to please let me know.I never got The call so everything must be all right.The day of my appointment at ECMC They told me that I would have to have a foot xray.I told them that Lancaster Medical sent it over already.They said they never received it and I would have to have another one.I wrote LM when I got home and requested that they credit me $25 for the second xray at ECMC.They sent me a copy of the report of the xray that they sent with no other explanation.I called them and a rude woman in the office said that they did send a report.I said,I didn't ask for a report,I asked for the xray film to be sent to ECMC.She asked if I wanted to talk to the office manager? I said yes and was transfered to her voice mail where I left a message to please call me.After a week I wrote again and said I was still waiting for my call back.No Responce at all.I wrote again and asked why I was being ignored? A note came to me stating that the office manager was out of town and would return my call when she got back.That was two weeks ago and no call but today I received a registered letter from LM that they would no longer be taking care of me as of the date above due to a doctor/patient relationship.This whole thing had nothing to do with the doctor.Someone screwed up and didn't do as I asked with the xray and now are sticking the bill with me.They are dropping a good honest paying patient just so that they don't have to deal with me.I don't even think Dr Kuehnling is even aware of what the office staff is doing behind his back just so as to protect their own jobs.Dr gets 5 stars but office gets 0 stars. read more

Received a letter from Lancaster Medical stating that they will no longer be able to provide me with medical care and to select another physician. According to the letter "Since your condition requires continued medical attention ..." - I HAVE NO MEDICAL CONDITION. When I called them, they said it was a standard letter and they told me it was because I have not been there for a physical for over a year (it was exactly 1 year and 4 months). They said they called and left messages a few times but apparently failed to call my cell number which is also listed in my file. I never received any message from them. The person I talked to said that she can see if they will reconsider and I told her not to bother. I have been going to them for over 10 years and will now switch. Another issue I have always had with them - with my insurance, I do not have to pay a co-pay when getting a physical but they always insisted on charging me and then issuing a credit. When my children get physicals, their doctor's office never charges us but Lancaster always did. We always had a credit but I never understood why they charged us in the first place. I always liked the PAs but was amazed that because I did not have a physical in 1 yr and 4 months that they elected to drop me. read more

I used to totally agree with Jean P and Truly. Until I got a letter last week saying I am no longer a patient because I cancelled my 2/19 appointment. I always believed that the people complaining were at fault. Proba ly a lot of them are, but it all. I have been a patient for 9 years and only had one no show-just simply forgot. I always made sure I gave plenty of notice if I had to cancel, always paid my bills and never had any problems with any of the staff. What I think is totally unethical is that they do not give you any warning before they 'expel' you. If there are acertain amount of cancelled appointments that get you kicked out shouldn't they tell you how many that is? Or at the very least tell patients that if they cancel another appointment they will no longer be welcomed. Also, if they're going to this, they ought to fix their mistakes. At least 4 appointments listed as cancelled were canceled by them. And one time I showed up for my appointment and they told me they were trying to reach me because the doctor wasn't there. Then they listed it as a no show. Tried to get them to fix the errors but they wouldn't. And now they have apparently used the mistakes against me. I emailed the PA i was seeing and they deactivated my account. I have diabetes so what happens if i cant find a new doctor? I just die because i can't get my medicine? Really a horrible way to treat long time patients. I am writing a letter to the AMA to see if i can file a complaint. So Jean & Truly, i hope you don't ever hit their mysterious number of cancelled appointments.but you wont know until it's too late. read more

WORST experience of my life, DO NOT GO HERE!! The staff are rude and ignorant. All this place cares about is billing you 50 bucks for a missed appointment. They will try to bill you for this no matter if you miss the appointment or not. I cancelled an appointment at least 2 weeks ahead of time and they tried to bill me for a missed appointment. I called and they waived the 50 dollar fee (how nice of them). A few months later I was 15 minutes late for an appointment (I had the time wrong according to them). Again, they charged me 50 bucks. When I called and told them I WAS at the appointment they said I was 15 min late so they billed me. Then they said they couldn't waive the charge because they already waived one once. Remember, the first one they waived was THEIR error. What a joke! I told them I will NEVER pay you 50 bucks and to delete my file I switched to actual REAL medical office and am so happy. A family member of mine was still going there and he was sent a letter saying it's time for his an annual appointment. Sounds nice of them doesn't it? However, since he did not call right away to schedule an appointment they sent him a letter saying they are "dropping" him. What office does this? Could you imagine if you were late getting an annual mammogram or something because it was hard to get an appointment or some other issue and the doctor just says "too bad, we are dropping you now". i was a patient there for over 7 years , only seen the doctor a few times, always seen the np, terrible service, never could get there paper work correct. i lost my health ins in dec, so had to get the free ins, called the office, they tell me they don't except my ins, but yet there name is on the ins, was getting ready to have my second surgery so needed medical clearance, so need to see them. call my new ins and said they won't accept the ins, was told they were on the list to accept, so the ins company called for me, then i get a call back stating they would see me, a week before my surgery the office calls me stating they are sick of ppl coming into ny getting a free ticket, that if everyone came in there with my ins they would have to close, so i called the ins back and told them what she said, they called her, then i get a call from them stating they will not see me, i had to find a new dr fast. it's all about the money with them, and the nurse's are a joke, they can never get it right. i wouldn't send my dog to that place..i don't want to rate them but have to or my post won't go through, they are getting a one star. Oh and reading the other reviews about a lady and her son waiting in the room and heard them laughing and smelling food, that happen all the times, the pharmaceutical people bring them food all the time, I heard that was not allowed any more in any doctor's office, that is how they win there way in to promote there drugs, hmm I will have to check into that. read more
