Land Pro, just had work done, the owner, his wife and their workers did an excellent job. Took a little longer to get done but we're not going to deduct any points since everything looks quite nice. It had been a very long time since our trees had been trimmed if they ever had been. The owner of Land Pro Landscaping came out and looked at what we had and listened to what we wanted. He said one of our trees was in really bad shape and should come down. The other trees had a lot of dead branches in the middle and were very thick. We took his advice and had him do what he recommended. He was right, the one tree was totally hollow in the center and could have fallen and caused some damage. They thinned out the other trees. We were surprised at the outcome since we were so used to the big old oak trees being so thick with dead branches but they do look so much better and we know that in the spring they will fill in nicely. These guys really do know what they are doing and are very good at it. They are very nice to work with and very trust worthy. They were obsessive on making sure that the area was very clean after they were done. I asked to keep the fire wood and they cut everything to length and I split it that night. The entire process was easy with no stress at all. I give them my highest recommendation! read more

Through the years we have used different tree services. When we needed two large dead trees removed from a difficult area, we thought we would try Land Pro and we could not have been happier. Robert and his crew arrived and worked so hard to do their job with the least amount of damage possible to a fenced area. Not only did they remove the fence and posts to get to the trees, they replaced it all when they were done and one could not even tell they had been there! I have never left a negative review for any business, ever. But I feel compelled to do so now, because I sincerely feel like I was ripped off. Robert and his son seem very nice, and they are hard workers. But the amount of labor and materials used (mulch, pesticide spray and the ride-on machine they used to edge my beds) were overpriced. Even our neighbors agreed when we told them the price. The end results were unsatisfactory. When I signed the contract and agreed to the price, I assumed everything would be finished and done correctly. It was not. There were several miscommunications between myself, Robert, and the office receptionist, throughout the process. Robert's son used the ride-on edger to edge the beds, but the lines were crooked and inconsistent in width in some areas. I asked Robert to fix that and he did, but my entire side bed is still very crooked and looks bad, even after they fixed it. They sprayed the weeds on my side fence thst Robert insisted were poison oak, or ivy, or sumac. I told him that poison ivy only has three leaves and he changes his opinion to poison oak. All which I then researched and found that the weeds were NOT poisonous. But I wanted them gone regardless so I paid to have them sprayed and torn out after wilting. They did not spray behind my shed, even after I specifically asked if they did and they said yes, they did. Those weeds are still green and lush while the weeds close to them were dead. The over spray along the fence KILLED MY GRASS in a 12 inch wide strip along the spray zone. Dead. Brown. Dead. They wanted to charge me an additional $90-100 to cut off and replace a common bolt on my chain link fence, so they could move the chain link temporarily, to grind a tree stump that is butted up against the fence. I said no, but he said he would still haul away the tree-grindings/mulch that the other company left in my driveway after partially grinding the stump. They took the stump grinding off the bill but charged me $90 to haul away the .5 yards of tree grindings/mulch. When he trimmed a large branch off of my Japanese maple, I was watching and asked him to cut one additional branch, about 2 inches in circumference, and he got visibly agitated and told me that would be an additional charge. I said that's fine. The large branch he did cut off... he left some sort of odd peice on the tree and it's sticking out, not flush with the trunk. Looks awful. A bunch of weeds are already back up in my mulched beds. The young man who was supposed to pull and/or spray the weeds just went around and cut them down with a weed-wacker. Did not spray. They just piled the mulch on top of the trimmed weeds and they're all over the place again. I went out and sprayed. We are now paying someone else to rip out the dead weeds, which was really what we asked for in the beginning and didn't get. The new worker has done more and beautified our yard in 2 days at a price of $20 per hour, verses the labor of 4 guys who did a crap job for $1800. read more

I feel like I didn't receive the value of services that I payed for. Poor communication from the very beginning. Originally they told me their services would be two weeks out, instead it was 3 weeks and I had to call them and ask when they were coming. These services are overpriced. It's been 2 weeks and I have weeds coming up in areas that were supposedly sprayed. I basically payed close to $1800 for mulched beds, some sprayed weeds, and a small strip of ground covering, one tree limb removed, and a small dogwood partially removed. They were unable to remove a stump close to our fence, but hauled away the small pile of sawdust for $90(which thy didnt even ask if we wanted to pay or that). I was expecting professionals to handle my yardwork and got two young apprentices who made crooked lines with the ride- on edger, and didn't even edge some of the beds. Both of neighbors commented on how overly priced the services were for what I got. I rarely give bad reviews because I respect buissness owners and know the power of word of mouth, but I feel like I got over charged and I will never use this service again. read more

BEWARE - Rob claims that his company is insured, but you need to ensure that you get his insurance provider contact information BEFORE you hire him. Rob is pleasant on pre-sale but if you try to hold him/his-people accountable for damage/quality he gets very unpleasant claiming that he DOES NOT have to provide you with his insurer contact information. read more
