I really don't give bad reviews but this poor communication and poor job really harmed our timeline on our home sale. Absolutely avoid if you want an honest assessment or technician willing to work. I confirmed in advance that we wanted our sewer line cleaned to comply with our inspection during our home sale. The technician came out and said he was going to scope it first, not the service we asked for, and then told my husband repeatedly it didn't need to be cleaned. I later got an email with a recommendation for a cleaning at $1400 and a bill for $154 for scoping the line. I already have an appointment to have the line scoped after the cleaning tomorrow by the original company who scoped it. Never asked for a scope, asked for a cleaning. I've attached the communication that they could do the cleaning while in site. Really challenging when the technician said no cleaning necessary, no repairs necessary and then sends an estimate for recommended cleaning and repair. Hyper Flow Service has been my trusted plumbers since 2021, for the past 4.5+ years. The owner, Kyle, has also referred me to my equally trustworthy HVAC/Electrician, ArkEHC, and I couldn't be happier! I've worked with David, Jacob, Brian, and James, and can't speak more highly of all of them! They've all helped me in various ways, the past few years, during both emergencies and routine maintenance. I used to love Hyper Flow. I've used them for several indoor and outdoor plumbing jobs at my house over the past 4 years. Their plumbers had been great. But the last experience has left me looking for a new plumber. Their plumbing has always been fantastic. My last issue has to do with mistakes that a new plumber made which damaged my house and the lack of resolution and customer service for that. The plumbing job was done well but the plumber made mistakes that ruined my walls and I had to keep calling Hyper Flow to discuss how we would fix them. I am upset that Hyper Flow did not apologize and left it to me to keep calling them to see how we could get some resolution. Now, I will just find another company to help me when I have plumbing issues that I can't resolve myself. I had an emergency plumbing issue in Westminster (basement drains backing up). I checked Yelp, and Hyper Flow came up with a lot of good reviews. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called before noon, and they said they could have someone there between 4-6pm that day for an estimate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Angel arrived before 5pm and assessed the situation and gave a quote that seemed reasonable (though I didn't have alternatives to compare). He worked to roto the drains clear until we knew for sure everything drained well, including two separate drains that had independent issues (possibly both caused by an initial block). Buyer Beware - They Charge a MINIMUM ($325) for any job - per their tech. Do not use. I have the texts, emails and estimates - keep receipts. This was a very disappointing experience. Should be 5 stars but giving one as the tech did address the issue and checked other sinks after some back and forth (didn't add that extra work to my bill and said so as if they were being so courteous). and os also just one star due to the misleading (could say dishonest) approach that got me to use their services to begin with. So ONE Star it is. I have texts between myself and the owner, Kyle, where I asked what their minimum fee was to do this very simple job, from both the day before and the morning of this task. He said they don't have a minimum, they will come out and provide an estimate and then go from there. Tech arrived (early so there is the star), assessed the job, a few bucks in parts (PVC cut to length) essentially and reassemble pipe and trap under a bathroom vanity. Pro Plumber - 20 mins work. Tech estimate was $325. When I said that was ridiculous, Tech stated that is the minimum they charge for any job. SO THERE IS A MINIMUM. I am the landlord and not local over the holidays so in order to not make my tenant's life anymore inconvenient - Tech and I negotiated this to $250 - UFB. Was informed that this was the "Colorado market, which is way more than California" - my 619 area code and being the landlord I guess prompted that comment. In a nut shell, the cost is all about what they feel they can gouge folks for due to the market vice what is fair and reasonable based on the job itself, more on that later. When I tried calling Kyle, who turns out is the owner, to discuss this bait and switch "we do not have a minimum" to "$325 is the minimum we charge for any job", I got Josh the dispatcher who was clearly annoyed I was calling to speak to Kyle and told me Kyle was not available. I asked that Kyle call me back. Kyle didn't call me back but I got his Operations Manager, Brian, who explained to me that they have to make money as they pay a fee to Yelp for the referrals/service and they have a minimum they must charge to run a business. So again, he confirmed they have a minimum. Perhaps it is that I was not local at the time of the repair so they had some leverage but two things are crucial .... 1. Saying you have no minimum and then stating you have a minimum is complete BS and not a way to run a business. 2. Charging a minimum is fine but having it be $325 for 20 mins of work is absurd. Fees / Rates should also be fair and reasonable. Make a profit, earn but this fee was absolutely absurd. I had them 2 years or so for a blocked floor drain in the laundry room. The gentleman they was fast & honest. Rather inexpensive compared to other companies. But then, about a year ago, they sent a young kid for an under the small bathroom sink pipe that leaked. He did the job well, but cut a rather large hole in the wall and put in a pipe that sticks out about 3" and cannot be concealed like the cold water side. The hole is about 4"x 6". After going through a backed up sewer line fiasco and ultimately a full replacement, I can't speak highly enough of Hyper Flow Service Company. Allen came out to scope the sewer line and was extremely informative and helpful, offering his professional opinion on our options. Given the line was blocked due to severe root intrusion that another company could not blade through, the age of the line, and cracks identified in his scoping video, we opted to replace the full line. Hyper Flow was much more reasonably priced than the other company, and got us on the calendar immediately. I've used Hyper Flow for both of my properties. The technicians themselves are generally solid -- my issue is with management and how they handle mistakes. A year ago, we called them for a leak from our upstairs tub into the kitchen ceiling. The first tech they sent out looked around, said he didn't see a leak, and left with almost no effort to investigate. After my wife pushed them to come back, he still never did a leak test, made up a "repair" just to bill us, and left the real problem unresolved. Fast forward to now: the same exact leak is still dripping in the same spot. This time, a different tech came out, did a proper leak test, and found the problem in under 10 minutes. The entire job took about an hour. When I asked what their hourly rate was, they said they "don't do that." Instead, they charged me $1,000 (after I negotiated it down) for one hour of labor and some parts. $1,000 for an hour. That's more than a surgeon makes -- and it makes me wonder if their techs are independent contractors just upselling jobs to justify these insane charges. Instead of admitting the first tech was incompetent and lazy, management is hiding behind the excuse that they "can't confirm if this is a new leak." That's not just wrong -- it's an insult to the intelligence of their customers. We all know what happened. Same spot, same problem, same leak. Management just refuses to own it. Hydro Flow should stand behind their work and make this right. Until management stops insulting their customers with weak excuses and starts taking responsibility, I won't be using them again. read more

We used Hyper Flow to clear a blocked sewer line, during which it was discovered that roots had penetrated our 53 year-old clay sewer line. We had them come back out and give us an estimate to replace the line, which they did very quickly and gave us a competitive bid. We decided to go ahead and have them do the work based on our initial experience coupled with great reviews. They were able to come out just a few days later and completed the job in one day. The crew arrived bright and early and worked hard all the way through the day until they were done, around 4pm. The crew was courteous, friendly, and very communicative through the day. We decided to have them use the "pipe bursting" method to replace the line, which involves only two holes--one by the house where the sewer line attaches to the house plumbing, and the other in the street where the line attaches to the sewer main. This approach saved about $4K over the old-style trenching method and it worked great. We are very pleased with the result. The new line looks and works great and there was minimal damage to my lawn and landscaping--just a single spot in the yard and since they put down plywood for the heavy equipment, my lawn is none the worse for wear. As a nice bonus, they installed two ports which will allow the sewer line to be cleaned out, one between the house and the street, and the other for the house line. They also repaired several sprinkler lines and the control cable which were severed during the process. The repairs were done professionally and they even had me test everything to make sure the system was back to 100%. Jeremy was the company's representative through the process, and he did a great job of explaining the options and how the process worked. We also had great communications from Kyle (the owner) who expedited the process of obtaining permits and lining up a crew to do the work. I highly recommend Hyper Flow for sewer line work and we would use them again in a heartbeat. read more

I had a water leak and called the company to come by for an estimate. The total cost to repair my water pipe's leak was a total of $749. $375 an hour for locating the water leak and $395 for fixing the copper pipe where it was leaking. Although the repair was made and it was fixed. The cost seems a little steep for what work was being done. Edit: I did approve the repair. Thanks for the reply. I just think the practice of charging $375 an hour to look for the leak is pricey. When a plumber should be able to fine it rather quickly and did so. read more

Just to give folks an idea of cost. I was quoted around $353 for snaking the drain and $1,250 for 2 hours of hydrojetting - 09/02/2025. My goal is to inform consumers if they want to shop around of what this company charges. In 2021, I paid $200 for snaking with the same company, so a "bit" of an increase there - like 75 percent.
