I…read morepicked this facility because it had decent reviews but I guess I just got the worst doctor there. Lets start from the beginning. The first time I met Dr. Wilke I was hopeful. I had needed symmetry in my breasts and bigger implants and switching from a saline to a gummy. He suggested a lift as well. I didn't really want a lift yet at my young age but I felt he knew best and agreed on the procedure. I had met with a few other surgeons prior to Dr. Wilke and none had mentioned a lift and that should have been my first red flag. Also Dr. Wilke has a strange tick that is rather unsettling and distracting when you try and have a conversation with him. Its a weird facial tick thing and it may not bother some people but it bothered me. The day of my surgery comes and I was a bit nervous. Not terribly but a little anxious and I kept asking his staff if I'll be able to talk to the doctor before my surgery. They assured me i could and when the time came and I finally talked to the doctor before the surgery he scolded me for being aggressive to his staff and making them uncomfortable and that if I didn't calm down he wasn't going to perform the surgery. I was in shock. I should've told him right then and there to forget the whole thing but I was already hooked up to iv's etc and had been excited for this surgery. So I apologized if I seemed aggressive and im still angry that I apologized!! I mean hasn't anyone been a little nervous before a surgery with him? Well you should be let me tell you. Right after the surgery I could tell both my breasts were not the same size. One was higher than the other! He told me to give them time to settle down. Well here it is over a year later and one is STILL higher than the other. But here is the unforgivable part in my eyes. They are obviously crooked and did he offer to fix them? No? What he DID say to me was "You have to admit, they look better than they did when you first came in." Excuse me what?? Are you kidding me? They were less crooked before than they are now but theyre just bigger. I wish I never would've chosen Dr. Wilke.

These outside surgeons concurred that I need revision surgery. When I brought those records to Dr. Kobienia, all he said was "I agree to disagree" and sent me on my way. I had to pay 20k to get revision rhinoplasty because it was so bad. The doctor I saw for a revision even said it was pretty bad and messed up and super bulky on the bottom. He also just took my septum completely out instead of fixing it. So now I've spent 31k on my nose. I've attached the photo of his nose (top) that Dr.Mesna did, along with the one I just got from a different surgeon. It now looks way more natural and nice compared to what he did to me. I also have a septum now. I wouldn't recommend having rhinoplasty here. The pain you go through to do it and then it comes out bad is not ok. Along with how much it costs..

He has been doing plastic surgery for over 30 years and has phenomenal ratings on realself. I originally had a virtual consultation that went well but he let me know right away he wanted to see me in person before confirming exact procedure. So I flew my behind to MN to meet this awesome Doc in person! The office and staff are sooo nice and friendly. Doc was so well dressed, comforting and knowledgeable. From the time we started the consultation, he completely provided a respectfu environment. Before I left the house to go see him, I was telling my bff how I need a doc to grab all up on my skin so I can really see what's gna be gone after surgery- that is exactly what he did. He was lifting, pulling and creating a visual for me- soo helpful! I was so convinced that I would need an FDL in addition to 360, but he assured be after seeing me in person that I would not need it and he didn't want to do it, saving my an extra scar and money- I greatly appreciate that! This one incident shouldn't represent his entire level of care - nor was it completely fair to his scope of practice as a GP. Our case fell squarely in the realm of rare and unlikely; outside General Practice and he was doing well to get us referred to a specialist as quickly as he did - making sure the issue could be addressed as quickly as possible. I don't expect many (if any) GP's would have done any better in his shoes. We still frankly don't know with any certainty that the SSRIs prescribed were the cause - only that the symptoms gradually faded after she stopped taking them - there was no good way to test for any of this. If anything this should serve as a cautionary tale to carefully research medications and the importance of strong patient advocacy in care - less so a personal rebuke of a Doctor trying to serve his patient the best he can. It took a great deal of time for my wife to find a physician she felt safe with and genuinely cared for her well-being. He's consistently taken extra time and never given her the impression he was just churning her through to get to the next patient - he genuinely engages with her during her appointments.
