Well they could be honest about a used machine that I bought and stand behind their product. I…read morepurchased my 1st Skid Steer I am busy so did the transaction over the phone and I took the word of the sales manager Champ that when he said the tracks had 75% life left in them. I actually called the sales rep back a few days later voicing concern and he said that Champ confirmed. I went along with it, less than 2 weeks later just working on dirt one track came apart. I have had this machine less than a month. I was less than a mile away from the Kubota Dealer in Durant on a Job site. I call Champ on a Saturday explaining the situation, yes he offered to buy back the machine and charge me rental but the loan I already have on it is not a simple interest so I would owe an additional $4K+ to the bank to pay it off so unless he wanted to pay the full value of the loan then that deal will not work. Then he offered to let pay for the tracks at their cost which I am not really happy with but agreed too however he was suppose to call me Monday (which didn't happen) to set up transport since the track was completely off. Again I am in the middle of a job so time is a issue to get it done, I finally had to call the dealer a mile down from where the skid was located on Monday afternoon they came and got it right then and I have to pay the full price for new tracks and they just got back on the job less than 24 hrs. I have still yet to get a call or offer from Six and Mango or Champ. I have been in contact with the sales guy and he is new to the business so I don't put blame toward him. Also the Durant dealer also had to REPLACED DRIVER SIDE IDLER ASSEMBLY PICK UP AND DELIVERY so an additional $500 on top of the tracks making it $4,200+. I also told him what Champ told me about 75% life left in tracks and the service guy in Durant said they were completely worn out. Also when I took delivery of the skid my operator said it seemed very sluggish and that he took out the filters and they were completely clogged, at this point we just had the skid for a week. It took him 30 mins just to blow them out with his compressor. I call Jimmy (sales guy) and I told him you told me went through service, well come to find out it didn't go through Service the guy who traded or sold it back to Dealership Champ knew and he told Champ that he serviced it himself. So obviously they didn't do Oil Change or service it before it was sold to me. They did after I spoke with Jimmy and Service Manager send someone out to service on site but still I would assume when buying a expensive machine that it would be serviced. Anyway this company has 0 customer service and Champ just is a typical salesman that will not stand behind is word. I own multiple businesses and if a customer is not happy I will make it right with them even if I have to lose money on the deal.

I went to Plano Power to talk with someone knowledgeable (something I could not get at the big box stores and clearly not via Amazon). Robert Martin took the time to listen to me, discuss what I wanted and advise based on his experiences. He spent the time I needed and made sure I knew about the free battery offer. He was absolutely great and I could not ask for anything more. Thank you, Robert.

What an incredibly disappointing experience I've had with PPE. I've gone there for years for…read morerepairs on my lawn equipment. Last year I bought a Honda push mower from them for ~$1000. I figured, "Wow, that's about 3x what I've paid for my last couple mowers from Home Depot or Lowes, but it'll be worth because they'll stand behind what they sell!" About thirty mowings later, the mower died at the exact instant I'd accidentally bumped it into my truck. I didn't crash into my truck at a dead sprint, I simply bumped it when the self-propelled wheels got away from me a bit. It had been starting and running flawlessly before that. Well of course it wouldn't start for love or money afterwards, so I took it in to PPE. Googling "why did my Honda HRX die when I bumped it into my truck?" yielded the answer, "likely the bump broke the flywheel key, which is a safety feature designed to kill the engine to prevent it from damaging itself when the mower hits a hard object". That seemed reasonable, and easy to fix. But after holding onto the mower for weeks I finally got a call stating that they couldn't figure out what was wrong, that they were waiting to hear back from Honda to see if they would provide parts under warranty, and that they saw evidence of dirt ingestion and scoring of the piston and cylinder and low oil. Ok. Why there would be dirt ingestion I don't know. I never ran it without an air filter. I topped up the oil at the beginning of the season. It's a BRAND NEW MOWER that's been used to mow about a quarter acre around 25-30 times. How worn out could the oil be?? And even with dirt ingestion and scoring, that is NOT what made it go from starting and running flawlessly to an instantaneous kill during a bump. So I go to pick it up today after receiving a call out of the blue yesterday saying that it was "ready". Lol, not so much. Apparently they just wanted it out of the repair shop, because for a $200 labor fee what I got back was an almost entirely disassembled engine on a mower deck. Wth am I supposed to do with that?? My 2 cents: you could buy THREE mowers from HD for what I paid PPE for a mower that lasted 30 mows. Oh, and here's the best part: it seems they were aware Honda was getting out of small engines when they sold me mine. Thanks for standing behind your products, Plano Power Equipment!!
