Zero customer service. Didn't have a part in stock. Told me they could order it, with no idea what so ever when it might arrive. Informed me I would be responsible for paying the shipping and a "stocking charge" A "stocking charge". Price before shipping, "stocking charge" and tax was quoted at $85. I bought a John Deere Riding mower and even though it was not from their store he took the time to explain to me what simple mistake I had made that was causing my mower not to drive.. . I would run from doing business with this company!!! They are dishonest and lacking in the customer service Dept! We bought a tractor last October and it only had about 14 hours when it died at that house. Called and they sent a mechanic out and diagnose the problem and then we got a bill for $500. We went round and round with them over that bill then eventually the district manager took care of it. Then about 3 weeks ago the tractor died again and we took it in. We received a call yesterday saying that there was moths in the fuel line and that caused the tractor to go down. We went round and round with them all while calling other tractor dealerships where they told us that was far fetched and that wouldn't cause a tractor go down. This bill to get our tractor back was over $1000. We will no longer own any John Deere equipment and will be trading this tractor in for another brand this weekend!! read more

Very unprofessional and inefficient. Customer service is not a priority here at all. Service= slow Pricing=way too much Communication = minimal. The large scale operation really hurts this companies ability to service its customers well. The management doesn't have this place organized and it really shows. read more

Stood around waiting to be helped and wasted 20-30 minutes and finally left. The young lady at the courtesy desk immediately approached us to assist and asked a rep to see us but they never came. They had the implement I needed but I guess they were not willing to sell it. I'll try another location before I waste my afternoon driving way out there to be ignored. read more

Brought my riding lawnmower in to diagnose why it would not start and have the 50-hr service done. I specifically asked to be called before any work was done to diagnose why the mower would not start. The only call I received was to tel me they diagnosed the problem and fixed it, along with several other repairs I did not ask for. Total came out to about $500, for a mower that costs about $1700 brand new. The person on the phone could tell I was a little confused why they performed the work without my knowledge or approval and adjusted it down to about $400. I came in to pick up the mower and spoke with the manager about not being notified prior to work being done. He immediately started to fix the issue by only charging me for the 50-hr service. No hassle or argument, just simply understood his team made a mistake and he fixed it. Very appreciative of his willingness to understand the customer and make things right. read more

I will NEVER darken the door of this place again. Took my John Deere lawn tractor in for routine service. Firstly, getting anyone in Service to notice me was Way Too Hard. Told them what to do, and what not to do. They did the stuff that I told them not to do, then wanted to charge me greatly for their mistake. I only found that after several of them tried to see who could ignore the customer the longest (me) when I came to pick it up. Now, months later, I find they overtightened the blade bolts. It took everything I had to get the first one off. Second one Would Not. The bolt broke, instead. Now a simple thing like changing blades is going to cost me hundreds in a repair -- because These Guys Are Incompetent! read more

Don't be put off by the huge machinery in front. I bought my Honda lawnmower here and was provided the same level of attention as if I were buying one of those giant tractors. Also the service department has provided the annual maintenance promptly and at a reasonable price. read more

I just called the dealership regarding completion of service on my 3 handheld gas operated units - they were originally to complete 5/16/19, then on 5/18/19 "at latest". As of today, the equipment will be now be complete tomorrow, 5/21/2019. for pickup - the date keeps slipping to the right - we'll see.... read more

What can you say about a place that specializes in John Deere equipment? Service. Purchased, and serviced machinery here for over a year. Everyone is helpful, and sometimes I come in with just the equipment code... Find the parts I need for maintenance.. No problem. Tony was excellent in finding the right equipment for my property! I have purchased several pieces of equipment from Ag-Power in the last three years. On several occasions I have been highly disappointed with the customer service I have received from them. Here are a few examples: 1. I purchased a brand new 85 horsepower tractor that was delivered to me with THREE fluid leaks; 2. I had a sales person take pictures with his personal cell phone of my driver's license and credit card after I stepped out of his office momentarily during the purchase of a hay spear; 3. I set an appointment for field service (oil and filter change) on a tractor, I provided Ag-Power with the model and VIN of the tractor, the technician showed up over an hour late for the "appointment," then after having drained the oil he realized he had the wrong filter, he had to go back to the dealership and get the correct filter and return - about forty five minutes of maintenance wound up taking a little over four hours to complete. There's more but I need to get back to work. I love John Deere, but damn, Ag-Power is a poor representative for them. read more

I had my D-140 48" deck mower serviced April 2017, I spent almost $450.00 getting spindles replaced, and a new belt, along with the standard maintenance. Mr. Lorenzo from the service department called me and said that they were going to be in my area (Gunter, TX) on 3/27 and that they could come by and service. I said sure. I took off work that day because they couldn't give me an exact time. I got a call from the guy that was going to service it at noon, saying that he was on his way out, and that he was on Mackey Rd., which is about a mile from my house. I waited until 4:00pm and called him back. He said that he was called out to make a delivery in Dennison.????? He did say that he was going to be by before the day was out. He finally showed up at 5:30pm, and loaded my mower. Last year they worked on it on site, but as he was driving off with my mower .....I figured that wasn't happening this year. I called and left a message for Lorenzo to call me. I called again 3/31 to check the status, and spoke with the General Mgr. I explained the situation and he said that he would look into it and call me back within the hour. He did call me back within an hour to tell me that they would work on my mower on Monday and get it back to me Tuesday. I was disappointed, but agreed. I called Lorenzo again Monday 4/2 to check the status and get an estimated cost. I finally spoke with Lorenzo, and he told me that they needed to replace the deck cover, and three spindles, for a total cost of 450.00. I told him that I couldn't afford a John Deere if I had to spend 450.00 every year keeping it running, he assured me that he would look into it and work something out. I called again Tuesday morning and Lorenzo said that he was waiting on a part, but would have my mower finished and delivered later in the day. He called me at 4:04pm and left a voice message saying that he was in route, and that he emailed me a copy of the invoice. He called again at 4:14pm and said that they had another delivery to the same area on Wednesday and that they would deliver my mower at the same time????? I called him back and he gave me a story, saying if they brought it to me on Tuesday that they would be over their hours for the day......I had checked my email and there wasn't an invoice so I asked him what the total was. He told me 369.33...... If I would have known they upkeep for a JD mower was going to be this expensive, I would have just bought a Craftsman from Sears. I am extremely upset with the service, and the lack of communication on the part of Ag Power. I will never do business with them again!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Brad Gerston the General Manager was arrogant and obnoxious when I confronted him with invoices showing him the games played.
