Bad customer service and lied to me. I had a complicated tax situation due to an inheritance. I…read moremistakenly had Peterson do my taxes. They told me to bring in letters from the IRS and Oregon Department of Revenue which I did. Peterson was terrible about communicating with me. I had to call the Oregon Department of Revenue myself when Peterson said they would for me. The person I talked to told me no communication with them and Peterson had taken place. I assume the same was true from the IRS. Peterson would rarely call me back when asking questions or needing an update. The employees are unprofessional and lack knowledge. My financial advisor needed a CPA to calculate my yearly distribution amount. I was told that there would be no charge but she lied and charged me anyway. I hope this helps other people avoid Peterson tax services to save money and aggravation.
