When it was time to have the exterior of my home repainted I contacted a number of licensed painters to get estimates. Most never showed up and one that did was $2400 more for the exact same work! Super detailed review so hang on. Price: $1000 cheaper than another quote. Work: Some details not great: nails skipped and had to be redone, got some paint on a window (easy enough to remove), didn't do the best with drywall. People: Chris was AWESOME. The boys were great. At zero point in time did I worry about theft, scams or getting the wool pulled over our eyes (disabled me and my 85-year-old Grandmother - were VERY targeted for scammers). One of the boys was so cute with the animals it was youtube worthy. Everyone was sweet, respectful and very friendly with all the animals. I can't tell you how important this section is. We proceeded to get a few estimates from the three Top tier crews in the high desert and Landrys was one of them. After reviewing the 3 estimates we chose Landrys do to the fact we liked what we were told and the fair pricing. One of the estimates was considerably higher and one was a bit lower. In the end we went with who we were most comfortable with. One of the most important things about the job for me was the stucco repairs. Chris the owner made it clear that stucco repair is one of the first processes of the job and he assured me it gets done the rite way. Then he explained clearly to me all of the steps thereafter. Chris kept me up to date on every process throughout the job to the very end. I am blown away with the outstanding job they did on our house from stucco repairs to painting all the way to cleanup. The stucco repairs turned out simply amazing! The Paint work was perfect and detailed. Chris and his crew are very respectful people and definitely know what they are doing and how to make sure that the customer is more then just satisfied. I loved the fact that at the end of the job Chris does a walk around with you to see if there was anything I wasn't happy with. If you're looking to get your house painted I'd keep looking! I thought mr. Landry was a true professional, how wrong I was. Although I must say his crew is exceptional and any flaws from them comes from the top. Mr. Landry is not the professional businessman I thought he was. The paint job was far from good. I see all these great reviews and think what happened to my house? You should think about that before you hire him. Now I'm not trying to say he hasn't done some decent work out but it definitely wasn't on my house!! I had faith in Mr Landry I really did he said he would fix it, he would never leave my house like this, but then he said he didn't know what to do to fix it or how to fix it, right out of Chris Landry's mouth. I had a very positive experience with Landry Painting. Chris Landry is first and foremost a standup guy. I had contacted 3-4 contractors and Chris was the most professional, punctual, and gave me a fair price. His company painted the exterior of our 4 plex in Apple valley. We called Chris Landry to get an estimate for painting our living room, dining room and hallway. He gave us a very reasonable bid so we had him do the work. The crew was very good at what they do and very polite and respectful. I couldn't believe how detailed their work was. The prep work was extensive from washing the walls, filling the holes, patching the damaged areas, priming the walls, sanding the trim and finally painting the final coat. Work started 2 business days after I said go. Team varied from 2 to 4 guys over the 6 working days the project took. I was very pleased with the results. Had Chris quote on doing some cabinet refinishing when he was picking up final payment. Bino did the job in 2 days. Do not use this company. They seem very nice and very qualified but the work is terrible. They never show up on time and always have excuses why they are late. The job was very poorly done and was not completed. They were to paint my kitchen cabinets and now I will have to pay to have most of them done over. When they put the cabinet doors back on, they would not even close. It took an entire day just to clean up after them. The owner seems to be a nice person, but he failed at cabinet painting. read more

Chris Landry just finished painting the exterior of my house. The house was built in 1976 and had the original paint. Chris walked the exterior with me from one end to the other and pointed out every repair to the stucco and facia board that needed to be repaired before any painting would be done. He explained the whole process from start to finish. He was on time everyday and accomplished everything he said he would do and more. He was on the roof painting my chimney and noticed an area on my roof that needed to be sealed and the shingles nailed back down. He saved me the cost of a roof repair along with the excellent paint job on my house! I did my research and read all the other reviews before I contacted Chris for an estimate. He showed up promptly for the appointment, provided me with a detailed estimate including wall paper removal, plaster repair, and paint. His estimate was very reasonable so I scheduled the work. His son did a great job of removing our " hard to remove" wallpaper. His painting crew did an absolutely amazing job of patching the plaster on the walls and ceiling.
