The Weger Painting team was absolutely professional, attentive to detail, and very easy to interact with. Called and spoke to a gentleman, asked if I could be quoted a price for a repair. I asked if he would like to see the work in person or if pictures are ok, he asked for pictures. As soon as I got off the phone with him and texted him pictures I never heard back. I waited a day and sent a follow up text, saw that he read it and still didn't hear back. In the time it's taken me to wait for a response I was able to find a different company locally and they've already come out and finished the repair... and I still haven't gotten a text back from weger. I wouldn't recommend them. If you don't want to do a job just say so. There's more respect in that than ghosting people. read more

I needed a two day response time to get my garage painted for a birthday party and Carl got the job done. Joe (the painter) arrived on time and did a excellent job and really paid attention to detail since my garage was peeling and a bit old. The topper on why I recommend his service is that Carl noticed my front door needed a bit of touch up, so he had Joe scrape some of the old paint and touchup my door which was a separate color then the garage at no extra charge. This is the type of service that puts you above other regular painters and not to mention that Joe the painter was awesome at his craft and pays great attention to detail. My 1-star Rating has nothing to do with the quality of work of this company, but rather the lack of consideration and respect for its potential customers. Texted Carl to request an estimate for a whole house paint job, inside and outside. After waiting for more than 24 hours for a reply, I decided to contact him again to let him know that I texted him and after more than 24 hours, I have yet to hear from him. I also reminded him that it is not good customer service to ignore requests from potential customers. He called me within a short time, sounding pissed off, no excuse and no good manners to explain his silence. He proceeded to ask questions about the job, agreeing to an appointment 3 days later, and letting me know that he will be forwarding a form for me to complete so that he can have a better understanding of what I need.. That was the last time I heard from him. Would I recruit him for the job, no way, even if he the lowest price and the best quality! If this is his behavior while he needs customers, could you imagine what he would do once he gets the job? I am keeping his contact number on my phone to remind me to never to contact him in case I need a paint job in the future! May 27, 2024-Update after Carl's Reply: Carl may sound apologetic if you read his review, which was not the case when we talked on the phone. Had he told that he was on holiday, I would have been the first one to apologize for disturbing his peace. Secondly, when he texted me 3 days after we spoke, which is today-see attached photo of the text -, I leave it to the reader to decide for themselves how rude his message is. No sincere apologies, no reason why he did not reply, just rudeness in my book! He must be from a generation that was not taught what good manners are! Recently hired Weger painting (found them via Yelp) and personally built confidence based on their reviews, and after meeting Carl, the owner - who communicated well and showed up for the estimate on time, I knew they could handle the project. He explained what it'd take to transform my kitchen cabinets from brown to white, which consisted of sanding, priming, and several coats of special paint, specifically emerald. On top of that, it required labeling of hardware/doors so they could neatly be organized/painted and put together just as they came off. My doors and some drawer faces were taken to their shop for painting and returned in perfect condition. The preferred vendor and one used for my project were Sherwin Williams. My wife and I went to Sherwin Williams to pick our preferred colors, as we painted the Island a different color (morning fog). So cabinets are white, and the Island has a different tune, like a blue/gray aka morning fog -- with our white quartz, white cabinets, with new backsplash and black handles (it looks stunning). Our painter, Joe was great. Communicated directly with us via text, kept us updated, and made his goal very clear, he wanted us happy with his work and cleaned up daily. His humor is great too! The Facia hasn't looked this nice for decades and the doors are simply beautiful and look almost brand new. Normally I can either rave or rant about a vendor. In this case both apply, which could lead a reader astray. Overall I recommend Weger for your consideration -- but with a critical caveat. Before I called Weger I had a quote from one of his competitors. One sent a kid out to my home who later gave me a fairly ridiculous quote. I say later because he didn't have the gall to say that to my face. That farcical number was based more upon my zipcode than Covid or inflation. Just greed. So I tried again. I used the Yelp function that pits vendors against each other in a bidding process. I had a specific requirement -- which was -- give me a ballpark quote before you come out to look at my place. I provided plenty of information. Any professional who's painted more than 3 homes had a number in their mind. And yet, out of 6 vendors -- -- only Weger followed my directions and gave me a quote. Do you want a vendor who does what you say or what they feel like? Me too. I invited Weger to come out for an estimate. Ladies, you might feel this former Marine is a bit gruff. Nothing to panic over, just saying. Here Weger's price started to climb -- but to be fair -- his initial quote was silly cheap and the increases were both reasonable (he wanted to paint a hallway wall) and he was still within my target budget. He was hired. The painting commenced and the problems started. I was an hour away from this job and when I checked out the progress... OUCH. I don't want to crucify this vendor and so I'll just say the job was not remotely professional. (Don't ditch, reader. Hang on a little longer. This ends as a recommend with a caveat, remember.) My best guess is that one of the two painters was useless. Because I see the other painter being praised in other reviews but not one of the painters I got. So when the job was 'completed' it was anything but. Even the owner admitted it was terrible. (He wasn't supervising.) So his supervisor hat went on -- and suddenly -- the poor job transformed into a handsome one. The price didn't budge up a nickel, if you're curious. This was a strange situation where the first impression was AVOID and the second impression was TERRIFIC RECOVERY. Based upon the many positive reviews in this part I'll write it off as a fluke. Get a quote from Weger. Keep an eye on his boys or insist that he does. That's the caveat. read more

I found Weger Painting on Yelp and sent a request for a rough estimate. Carl sent me a rough estimate based on home size, but also then scheduled time to see the house in person. We scheduled a consultation and Carl arrived on time. During the consultation, Carl listened and asked good questions about what we wanted painted. Since we were working with HOA requirements, he was careful to select the right paint code and match it up perfectly. He was one of only 2 contractors that showed up and actually took measurements, the others saw the house and neighborhood and gave HIGHLY inflated estimates. Although the on-site painters took a bit longer than expected, their work was top notch and I would definitely hire them again. I've already referred them to a colleague. read more

Paint experience was excellent. Carl promptly returned calls in sales phase. Contract was clear and specific, paint spec'd was of good quality. Joe, our painter, was professional, detail-oriented, courteous, and did great clean-up.
