Nice cool spot in the Bergen Town Center, and they have a small fitting space, a lot of display items though sizes for my side of pants (smaller) was not available in a few styles. Return was straightforward, though, simple and there was a separate counter for the online returns (interestingly enough). No card required - they reimburse the original card. Lots of items on-sale so check the tag and then check the signs to see how much it is. Similar to the online sales. read more

Lands' End has always been one of my favorite brands. My daughter gave me her black down coat and the style is perfect. It has five pockets! I've owned this long red Lands' End down coat for years. As I aged I couldn't navigate the subway stairs with this Length. As much as I love the coat it is going in the New York Cares Winter Coat Drive today. One thing I will say is don't order a coat for delivery. I had a nightmare doing that with a Lands' End coat!! read more

PROS: Very nice store, it reminded me of Vineyard Vines. Staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. Place was clean and organized CONS: Only way to enter this store was from the outside. No entrance from inside the mall. Lands End is an appalling company with which to do business. My experience with returning a nightshirt could not have been worse. It was one screw up after the other. When they agreed to comp me on the return label because of the mess they had made with the return, they failed to credit me for the label. Chris, a snotty supervisor, informed me that she would credit me the "forgotten note that was an honest mistake," Honest??? Please do yourself a favor and forget this place unless you have lots of time on your hands and long for aggravation. read more

Offered assistance the moment we walked in. The associate checked on me if I needed any help while I was in the fitting room. While this is a standard when it comes to customer service, we sadly don't find this service everywhere. WORST website I have ever seen. You spend 45 minutes running through the website and finding what you want and then they entice you to sign up for their credit card for a substantial discount. When you do that, they give you a code to use and . . . nothing happens. A notice comes on saying that they can't show you what you will actually pay but to trust them that it will be correct when your credit card statement shows up (of course, it it is not you will invest another hour speaking to a clueless person in some remote location who has no idea what you are talking about) However, in this case, the site simply did nothing. You could not do anything other than go back to your "shopping cart" so that you could see what you were not going to be receiving. I have no idea how they stay in business. Lost the order, lost the discount and now they have lost the business. Perhaps that is why it is called Lands End. read more

I am done with Lands'End. I ordered pants for myself, two pairs. They were so poorly made and the waist line looked like it was stiched by a 10 year old with used elastic. So, I paid $9.00 to receive the items and now another $7 to return it. Did I want store credit until I ordered again (and paid the requisite shipping fee again)? No. No way. I used to order everything from them, for myself and my chidren. The quality has vastly changed, and it is no longer worth it. I will stick with LLBean. read more

I have been in this store twice. There is an older, white female staff member who is the rudest person working in retail that I have ever met. Her tone is so condescending (for reference, I am female, age 38) and her attitude towards customers is unbelievable. It is so off-putting. This company needs to reassess the representatives it hires. read more

i came here to return two coats from an online order. It was handled very quickly and pleasantly. the displays were neat and organized and the store was clean. the staff very nice and helpful too. Be very careful with their promotions on line. Each item that you purchase with a code requires a separate order so you are charged a shipping cost on each item. Received an email for free shipping but was unable to use if I wanted the 30% discount they were offering. Very deceiving. You do not find out you can only use one promotion until you checkout.
