Called Ballard Electric again (on a Friday) because my garage car charger stopped working. They set…read morean appointment for today (Monday) and sent Victor and Peter out to troubleshoot. In the meantime, I had several placed to be over the weekend and ended up going to a public rapid charger to get enough power to make it to various appointments, but it was stressful as my battery was only at 40 miles. Peter and Victor discovered that the breaker switch needed to be replaced (which was what I suspected because it kept flipping to neutral rather than staying off or on). Victor said the breaker switch was a "Home Depot special" but a good one. However, they didn't have it on their truck and their usual suppliers didn't carry that model, so they needed to get it from Home Depot (HD). The HD by my house was out so they had to go to the next city over to pick one up. They were back in about an hour with the new switch and changed it out very quickly. I asked them about switching out some exterior lights, but told them that the garage car charger was the priority. Since it took so long to get the new switch (they didn't get back to the house until almost 5 p.m.), I called Kyle to set up a new date for them to come back and replace the lights on the outside of the house for me. Victor and another electrician will be back on Wednesday to replace seven exterior lights for me. Obviously, Ballard Electric is my go-to for all my electrical needs. Responsive, friendly, and reasonably priced.

Their products are in the mid price point but if you want something more higher end/ artisan / designer and find it online from another vendor, they will order it for you at the same or better price and have it shipped directly to your home. Ordering lighting online can be tricky if you haven't seen it in person and having to return a light fixture by shipping it is a hassle. It's comforting to know that anything I order from Lamps Plus can be returned directly to their store in the rare case I need to return something. Lamps Plus cares about their customers .

They didn't close for another 20 minutes. Safe to say I will never be back, especially because they are not open on weekends. How is the general public supposed to be able to go and see anything in a storefront if they are only open from 7am to 4:30 pm daily? A combination of the dismissive, rude, and unprofessional staff and the business hours make this establishment a no-go for me, and anyone who asks for my advice about lighting stores in the future. Anybody would be better off shopping at Lowe's or Home Depot.

I live 100 miles away, so Jason started by reaching out to me by phone to find out what I wanted to have installed and gave me good suggestions on options. We agreed that I'd purchase the needed motion detector and post lights and he would coordinate with my tenant for installation. He was on time and efficient and sent me photos of his work. Tenant was very happy. Although Jason got the post lights working, in order to hide the wires they required further work tracing down wiring that ran across the front yard. Jason coordinated with my landscaper to meet on a follow up day and figured out how to best run the wiring to the post lights. Jason is creative, efficient, conscientious, reasonably priced, and reliable. I highly recommend him.

They have been perfect and I have only ever needed to change one bulb. But I opened the back door a couple of days ago and two of the strings had fallen -- the hook holding them to the house had pulled out of the stucco. I immediately called and Nick was amazing.
