We previously met with 7 other pool companies who were unwilling to work around a large oak tree in our neighbor's yard, but Mike not only took it on, but knocked it out of the park. His team created several incredible options for us, and ultimately we were able to build the backyard of our dreams. As expected in the current market, there were a few delays to contend with, but overall I felt the pace of the project was fantastic and they did everything in their power to get the job done efficiently and with the highest quality. We had the best experience having Landscape Fusion build a pool and cabana, with a bathroom and outdoor kitchen, at our property! The owner, Mike, was right there through the entire process, and always kept us posted on what was happening with the timeline and project. Great design but expensive and the quality is subpar. In the 3 years since our outdoor and lanai remodel, we've had issues with the pool light not turning on, leaks in our lanai that range from dripping to the drywall caving in and, most recently, we have about 12 areas with loose or sunken tiles. If you want work that will last then save yourself the headache and find another contractor. read more

Total disregard and destruction of yards around their worksite. My neighbors are having work done. They have flooded my yard for 8 days and then to add insult to injury completely destroyed our front yard today when their work trucks drive through the wet yard they created. Several neighbors have complained to those doing the work and they were dismissive and/or rude. read more

I emailed through the website for information as I'm wanting to do a backyard project. It took 2 weeks for any reply and the reply was super arrogant in my opinion. I live right down the street from their store on South Dale Mabry and my budget for the project is $25,000. Would have been a solid project for them to take on but due to their reply and how arrogant it comes off, I'll go elsewhere. First, never heard of a business charging you $1,000 to show you what they can do for you and why you should use them?! Secondly, the entire email was arrogant. Do they really have such demand that you can afford to answer inquiries like you're vetting clients of they meet your qualifications to do business? Crazy. read more

We had Mike design and implement a $35,000 landscape job. Overall we were happy with his designs and ideas . Implementation was a bit " rocky" though. Specks were not followed as the plan indicated. Office assist (K) was rude and "a bully"...not a good representation for your company. We finally had enough of (K) and chose to speak to Mike. However, Mike was VERY reluctant to deal with any "warranty" work. He got his money and now he was pretty much done with us...You have a good product Mike now work on customer service! I called and asked for a quote. I live in the Citrus Park area and they told me that because the home is in CP, that the job would need to be in the $10-15K range because they were a South Tampa company. They should disclose that ahead of time. I wouldn't have bothered asking for a quote. Either you serve the Tampa Bay AREA or not. read more

Not really a "reviewer", but maybe others will benefit from this. Contracted their services for a small South Tampa project in late August to be finished by Halloween. Or finished by Thanksgiving. Or by Christmas. It's the first of February and we will get final details finished on our own. Project looks ok just not the experience we anticipated. read more

First off, if you head over to their location, it is a very nice place and you can tell they know their business. We actually just stopped in on a whim, and ended up being impressed enough to ask for them to give us some ideas for a paved walkway we've been thinking about. The person we spoke with meticulously took down our information and promised that someone would be over shortly to look at the area, give us ideas and then presumably provide us with a proposal. It has been 8 days and we still have not received a call. I picked up the phone today and found out that the design people are all off until after new years. This was pretty disappointing as we certainly expected a call last week at some point, but we still have not given up on them. I will update if/when they get back to us. UPDATE-2/7/14. When this was originally written, we had not actually met with anyone at our home. Sometime in early January we had the company come over to assess the situation. The rep quickly took measurements, made some recommendations and agreed to providing us with an estimate, which we received in 2 days. Overall, I felt they were reasonable and we scheduled the work, which would commence when the material came in (pavers for a sidepath extension connecting our driveway to the west side garage entrance door). The work was done mostly in one day, and then another two days of tweaks to get the path exactly the way we liked it. The Company was very accommodating to our requests and came back several times until we were satisfied. It looks beautiful and is going to enhance the look of the home and we think add value. I would recommend using them and we likely will have them do other projects as we assess the exterior of our home. Final Update-2/21/14 This may end up being the longest review in history, but something came up after I thought the job was finished that required the company's attention. I clearly am not as good at spotting the fine details as others so we had to make one final modification. This was raised on 2/11. We sent him a photo and Mike was immediately in agreement and promised that this would be fixed promptly. To insure that we were all clear on exactly what we wanted, Mike sent someone out who did speak with my wife so we were all in agreement. From there, it became a bit of frustration on everyone's parts as it ended up taking a week to turn a row of pavers in one direction and make sure they were flush mounted so it looked perfect. The reason I decided to write this was when Mike personally came over to do this he sent me a text that essentially said we were "killing him over 2 inches" which I found baffling. I called him immediately to stop the back and forth texting but I never spoke with him. The issue was we had a small gap and he had to cut the last paver to fit it in. But that has to happen all the time, and I have no idea why he would send such an aggressive text message. Did he expect to leave this gap as representative of his company's work? I'm still confused and he never called me back. I guess he got upset over too many call back's for what was a relatively small job. But it is our home and we have a right to see that we get something that is as close to perfect as possible. If they had just followed my wife's guidance in the first place, they probably would never have had to come back once. In any event, the small gap was filled in, but it was actually installed without any cement being placed in between the two adjoining pavers. I am sure the cut paver isn't going anywhere but it was disappointing that the job ended on such a sour note. For that, I am going to reduce the overall rating one star. I still would recommend them, but also tell others to be absolutely clear on design and instruction to insure you get what you want done with a minimum of frustration read more

Mike stopped by my house today to look over my backyard and see what needed to be done for a total makeover - pavilion, replace wood deck with pavers and landscaping. He was very nice and very professional but really blindsided me when he informed me that he would need a $500 retainer to work up a design and estimate and they would credit 50% of the retainer to the cost of the job if I decided to go ahead. Neither of the other two landscape contractors I have contacted for estimates required a "retainer". I have seen pictures of their work and am very impressed but I think I'm going to have to pass on Landscape Fusion and go with another contractor. read more
