I hired Tim to move a wire for my irrigation system because the wire was connected to my garage door. It had to be moved to change the spring on the garage door. Well, I noticed that a couple of the stations were not working after his rewiring. I had someone else inspect the sprinklers and they determined the wiring was done wrong. I called Tim and he said that he has been doing this for over 30 years and never makes a mistake!!! Also his fee to do the wiring was very high. It stated out that it would be $600 to $700. It ended up costing $820. Stay AWAY. He will not fix the wiring because he doesn't make mistakes. He does not stand by his work! I should have checked his reviews before hiring him. read more

Hired for leak fixes, irrigation valve replacement and replacement of drip lines. Said would complete work in one visit. Didn't. Left trash, fitting and old pipe everywhere. Messed up pavers. OVERCHARGED!! Uses subcontractors. Always late, never did work as agreed. Never provided invoice, asked for more money at the end of work. I ended up helping trench and place sprinkler lines, burying drip and water lines and they left beds without drip. Felt ripped off. Very disappointed. Honestly, I try to never write bad reviews because I understand people make mistakes. But this situation has really upset me. Read to the end to understand how great service went to terrible results and wasted money. Back in July, my wife and I had an emergency irrigation leak that we needed fixed right away. We had a pipe burst outside our home, leading from the water line to our valves. They responded quickly and seemed friendly. We were very happy with the work they did even though we paid extra for their emergency Sunday rate. While at our house that day, they also suggested we should change our irrigation from sprinklers to a drip system to save water and money. We agreed and let them proceed the next week. We thought they were very knowledgeable and helpful. However... since then, each thing that they worked on has been breaking and flooding. Two days after the work was performed I called back saying my yard was flooding because their new valve had burst off. Tim sent someone out to fix it right away for free. However, when my plants started dying a week later I finally figured out that the water line had been left 80% shut after we were told he had checked the repair and it was good to go. Since then, I've found out that the drip lines were NOT done as discussed, so I manually turned all the sprinklers on. I had multiple fountains of water shooting up from sprinkler heads they removed. Now, even the original pipe that they fixed has burst again leaving a bigger flood and a big hole. They've been extremely unresponsive. I texted the owner twice (on separate occasions) with pictures of more flooding issues that they did not fix the first time around. I have received no response. Then my wife called and left a voicemail for the owner telling him that we've been trying to get in touch with him and would appreciate a call back. Again, we received no response. All I can do now is look for another irrigation company to pay all over again to fix their $700+ mess. Just a warning to anyone needing a quick emergency fix... this is what we dealt with. :( read more

The previous reviews are a reflection of my experience with this company. Dishonest service. When I received my quote for the work, my initial reaction was that it was quite pricey. Tim said it would take 2 days to complete so I figured the job must be bigger than I'm realizing. Turns out Tim and his laborers finished in 3 hours. Nowhere near the 2 days quoted. Ive had other companies inspect the job after and all said I definitely overpaid. Part of the quoted work was to replace an existing valve. Even though it was fairly new, he claimed it was from a big box store and they only sell junk that breaks to keep you coming back. Tim did not replace the valve, he reused it but still charged me for a new one. Another part of the quoted work was to replace a ball valve. Tim said the new plastic valve he installed would outlast the house. The new valve split shortly after the job was complete and started leaking. Putting me back at square one. When I realized where the leak was coming from I text Tim with a picture. His response: that's unusual, you must have high pressure or it's a defect. He said we needed a better valve now. I would expect someone claiming to be an expert would know about water pressures. I'd also expect if a company sold a defective product, they'd replace it. Especially after telling me it would outlast the house. Tim asked if I was in agreement to pay for the better parts and labor to fix his work. I explained I feel that this falls on him to fix since it was done so recently. He claimed it was outside the warranty period. He never provided anything in writing about warranty, or anything in writing at all. Apparently it was 30 days. The job was done on March 11. I contacted him about the busted valve on April 13. Just 2 days outside "the warranty" but he was unwilling to help without getting more money. I had the valve repaired by someone else, and learned it was actually Tims fault the valve busted. It was over tightened and split at the seam. Also learned it was bound to fail because a metal pipe was threaded into plastic. The plumber that fixed the issue said overall Tim's work was cheaply done and we definitely overpaid. I'd steer clear of working with this company. It seems many are experiencing similar issues. read more

Timothy O'Toole is a crook. He will take your money and run. We had a control box valve leak in our backyard and I called Tim. Tim collected half of the money after five hours of work on the first day, his employee showed up with nothing but a shovel to work. My husband had to provide plastic wrap and I saw him using my toddlers bucket to collect dirt, very unprofessional. Tim told me that he would come back after he took care of a customers emergency and never returned he stopped answering my phone calls told me he had been in an accident and needed to heal by text message and now I cannot get a hold of him. read more

Called them out, received an estimate which I approved and they just disappeared. Tried calling and texting with no answer.

Short summary: Similar experience to others on these reviews. Paid Tim $950 to repair sprinkler valves. He took my money and after two failed attempts, then kept delaying showing up and then just stopped responding all together. Turns out he also didn't do the work we agreed to. We needed to have two sprinkler valves brought above ground and replaced. Tim charged $550 for the job. He gave it his best shot and then when the sprinkler was turned on the next day, the pipes burst open and flooded the corner of the yard. Tim said he needed to install pressure regulators along with the repair of the burst pipe he installed. He charged me $400 additional for this. He said he completed the job, I paid him. the next day went to test the system and the pipe burst in the same place again. Looked at the work that was completed and no pressure regulators were installed. I didn't confront Tim about the pressure regulators because I wanted him to come back and finish the job. Tim said he would finish the job, but then delays kept popping up and then he eventually stopped answering any calls or texts. This all took place over the period of weeks. Now I'm still stuck with a broken sprinkler system (worse than when we called him to help), I'm out $950 and I'm having to chase the guy down to get my money back. Don't fall for the scam I did.
