The store is located just off of High on First Avenue, and the only reason we spotted the tiny clothing store was because of a sign that read "Designer Clothes at 'Knock Off' Prices". There was one more thing that caught my eye on that sign, the part that read sizes went up to 20! I'm not a fashionista by any stretch of the imagination, but maybe it's because as a plus size girl I find it really difficult to find name brand clothing in my size that doesn't look like a floral print potato sack. Savvy on a Shoestring is small, with a couple hand fulls of outfits in each size category. Some of the brands I hadn't heard of, but I did notice a fantastic Vera Wang dress on display. Clothing ranges from business, active wear, evening dresses and accessories in the form of handbags and sunglasses. The lady behind the counter was pleasant to talk to and I told her how happy I was that they carried plus size clothing. She said both her and the owner were larger women, so they tried to look after us curvy girls. However, due to a lack of interest (or perhaps a lack of knowledge) from their customer base, they were going to start scaling back their plus size line. Don't let this happen, Columbus! I just found this great treasure of a store!

The store is also tucked on a side street behind Grandview Mercantile. These factors add up to one thing: me forgetting that Savvy exists. But one of my friends went in recently, and she couldn't stop raving about the place. She put three or four things on hold, all major name designers like Versace, Michael Kors, Dolce & Gabbana...Everything is offered at a huge discount. You can find a $400 pair of jeans selling for $40. I don't know how they do it, but they do. So, this past Holiday Hop, I made it a point to stop in. The store was small but full of clothing neatly arranged on racks by size. Personally, I couldn't find anything that was my style. Everything looked like it was selling to an older crowd. They had a bit of everything from sweat suit jumpers to skirts, blouses, and rain boots. There weren't many duplicate pieces. The workers were nice and had York Peppermint Patties for us. If you're a label whore, give Savvy a peek. It's oddly affordable in a neighborhood full of $200 sweaters.

The sales associate was thee most helpful person I could have asked for. She listened to what type of style I liked, what I was envisioning for my photographs, and then took the time to walk around the entire store and find pieces liked. Not only did she style me, she also had me try everything on and provided great feedback and more styling suggestions. The service I received here went above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. Also, the clothes and accessories are so cute, modern, and stylish! I will definitely be returning and 10/10 recommend to everyone!

Which brings up a point, can we all please not leave clothes in fitting rooms? My goodness, it's not that much to ask. There were enough cashiers by the time I left to handle a long line. Yes, only one bank of cashiers was available but I commend the staff that was there and supervisors readily available to help. Which brings up yet another point, people, use some common sense. They aren't going to allow double discounts by double use of coupon deals. Please! You're burning out staff by even trying.

Although they they made a minor mistake overcharging me today, I will forgive them and be grateful for the refund. I have to give props to the customer service being great for the first time being in the store. They were very helpful in explaining the layout of the store. They showed me where the casual work attire was and everything else. The second thing I would like to give them props for is giving me 20% off since my coupon was $10 off and they wanted to be extra nice to impress me for my first experience in the store. Although it was a bit of a drive for me, I don't foresee coming back often since I like stores that are in closer proximity to where I live. It was just a nice one time experience to see the store and what they have in it.

We found our selections to be reasonably priced, but I'm certain price wouldn't have factored into our decision-making process. We're avid Buckeye fans; now fans of Rally House. Store associates were professional, answered questions, assisted in retrieving items from high up, and provided excellent service. When visiting Ohio in the future, we'll be certain to make another visit to Rally House.

I shop at Target stores all over the country and I rarely do reviews for them but this one deserves…read moreit. I had two great experiences back to back. I just got back from out of state and had to pick up some things for my son's house so I placed a drive up order. Things were hectic so by the time I picked up, I forgot it was a drive up and we went in to get it. Brooke helped us out and when I realized it was a drive up I apologized but she said it was ok and had me switch it. In this particular store, drive up is on the opposite end of the building. Which means she knew she had to walk all the way to the other side just to get my order and she did not complain for one second. Even when she got back she was so nice and still had a smile on her face. Fast forward to the next day. I had to stop in to return something and grab some more things. My return went well even though the sticker was missing on the item. He just had me pull up the DPCI from my app. I did not get that gentleman's name but service was good. I went in looking for two specific items and a bunch of other random things. When I couldn't find one, I stopped and asked an employee if he could help me locate one. My app showed several in stock, but I didn't see any on the floor. He checked and found one in the back then loaded it on the cart for me. I didn't think to get his name but he was helpful. After shopping around for way too long, I headed to the checkout, but only self checkout was available. The gentleman working self checkout seemed busy and I didn't want to tie him up with one order because I had a handful of items that required a price adjustment. So I went to customer service to see if any other registers would be opening up. Alex was at the counter and said he could help me out right there. He was so nice and didn't make me feel like a bother at all. I know it is inconvenient to scan items and bag them with that small counter area at customer service but he was happy to help. He was so friendly and patient about the whole thing. I know by this point you're thinking that I am a high maintenance customer but this is not the norm for me which makes this experience even better. These employees deal with irritating, entitled, rude customers all day, and they still made time to make me feel like I wasn't a pain in the you know what. This is the type of service that made me love Target so many years ago but today there are many locations that do not meet the same standard. Now about the store itself - The store was clean and organized. I passed a few other employees and didn't get the standard greeting but at least they were all working instead of standing around like I've seen at some stores. Things were stocked and the clearance shelves were pretty neat. I did not check out any of the fresh meat or produce items so I can't speak on that. So all in all, I like this location.
