Rating based on similar stores. I went early on a Saturday morning in December to avoid the crush of Christmas shoppers. The fitting rooms were clean and devoid of discarded clothes. Which brings up a point, can we all please not leave clothes in fitting rooms? My goodness, it's not that much to ask. There were enough cashiers by the time I left to handle a long line. Yes, only one bank of cashiers was available but I commend the staff that was there and supervisors readily available to help. Which brings up yet another point, people, use some common sense. They aren't going to allow double discounts by double use of coupon deals. Please! You're burning out staff by even trying. read more

Came in looking for several summer items, figured they might have some good sales. Even the sale prices were not great. Apparently I will be looking at Marshall's, or maybe thrift stores, because things were so expensive here. Meh. I would rate my experience meh. Am I the target demographic for this store... no, But I stopped in to return an Amazon package today and this was my experience. Walked in, asked the lady where the Amazon return was and she let me know it was ALL THE WAY IN THE BACK - word for word that's what she said. And she was not lying, the Amazon return center is in the far back left corner of the store. Now I was there to return hangers, which required 4 bags because let's face it hangers don't lay nicely in a box. After 3 long trips (I would say I walked close to half a mile between my car to the back of the store) my legs were tired and the return complete. Here is my two cents, after I spent close to 20 minutes lugging all of my things to the back of the store, I was tired, annoyed and didn't want to shop which is my guess for why they put it in the back of the store to begin with - tons of returns = tons of eyes on product... but I think it's working against you due to the fact you're angering the person returning the items. Take Whole Foods for example, their Amazon return right at the front. Once my item is returned, I can relax and look around. Such a filthy store I've been in the store probably five or six times in the last 3 or 4 months it's always the same it's messy it's disorganized clothes out of place on the floor the shoe department is a complete disaster and nobody is straightening anything this store is become a joke and I think whoever is the manager at this store needs to be fired read more

Ok I haven't been to Kohls in years and now all of a sudden I've been serval times this week! I stopped by on Black Friday because they had a great deal on kitchen stuff. Luckily they had the exact number of items I needed still in stock! We browsed around a little after that and they seemed to have some really good deals throughout the store. The line was pretty long and we had to wait about 15-20 to checkout but that is to be expected on Black Friday. They did have every register open though and ropes guiding people to where they should stand. It was a very organized situation and I'm sure I'll be back soon. read more

Another good experience with customer service. Now, it started off slow, waited a long time for the phone to be answered and then got rerouted to customer service again, however, after I explained that when I got routed back there a second time the person who answered the phone linked me to Savannah (sp?) Who was very helpful. We had found things on line, had the sku # ready so she knew what to look for. Offered to go look. We told her if they had two colors in stock we would take both. Customer service picked up and said Savannah had found both and already had them and was holding them for us to pick up. When we got to the location, they were ready to be picked up. The person at the desk recognized us, apologized for our wait on the phone and got us check out immediately. read more

I found a small blanket in clearance section. Was yellow tagged for four bucks. Brought to register and they said no it'a not correct. Why would you sticker items and not sell for your own sticker price? Settle the transaction and then fix your own error for future selling. That's how it works. Won't go back to This location. This is the go-to location for me. It always seems to be well-organized and I can easily find what I need. They offer pants that have various hem lengths, which is not something that I have been successful in finding in other stores. They have great brands and great sales. Kohl's cash is offered routinely and is nice when you want to go back and find something else. read more

Meh. If you know what to expect, it's fine. Customer service is hit or miss but that's true everywhere these days. My biggest complaint is the disorganization. Half the time the items are in disarray- clothes half hanging off the hanger, empty hangers on the floor, clothes drapes over the hanging rack, stacks of folded clothes are falling over and half unfolded and not grouped by size and sometimes not by color either. And that's the regular priced items! The clearance racks are always a total mess. Only organized by age and gender, but I have found girl's clothes in the women's section. It's significantly more difficult than shopping at a thrift store! But there are bargains. If I have the mindset of going on a treasure hunt and it's going to take a long time, then it's fine. Because of the disorganization, if I'm willing to pay full or sale price, I shop online. If I want bargains, I "put on my patience pants" and prepare for an adventure. read more

Kohl's always has the best deals! Between their 25-80% off sales, I'm always a fan of browsing around this location. There's plenty of variety for those who have no idea what to do for holiday shopping this year and it's a good place place to find some good quality items. The only complaint I every have about Kohl's is that there is never anyone in the shoes department and it tends to be messy (not just during the holidays...but I think people just get overly-excited for all the deals!). read more

I wanted to take a few minutes to send you and email about the extremely poor customer service my wife received at your Grove City, Ohio store the evening of 04/17/2018. My wife had gone to the store to return a coat I had purchased from the clearance rack, after trying it on I accidentally grabbed the wrong size and purchased it. My wife went last night to try and exchange it, she went back to the rack and grabbed what she thought was the correct one as well as an additional winter coat that was on the clearance rack that was not labelled. When she went to customer service, she was met by an Customer Service Associate named "Deborah" (No last name but grayish hair and name tag said she had been there since 2014) who was extremely rude and condescending to her their entire encounter. Deborah was apparently upset that my wife asked her what the clearance price was on the additional winter coat from the clearance rack, Deborah scolded her and said "THIS coat wasn't on sale, there is NO WAY this was on the clearance rack where did you really get it?" in effect she was accusing my wife of lying to her over something that may of probably just been misplaced inventory. My wife politely told her it WAS on the clearance rack and that she wasn't interested in that coat at full price. My wife, Melissa, moved on the exchange transaction. When she handed the coat to be exchanged to Deborah, who stated "What have you done to that coat?! You have obviously been wearing it." In all honesty, the coat was taken home and tried on one time which it didn't fit around me -I literally could have ripped it if I stretched my shoulders. All the tags, both Kohl's purchase tags and the Chaps manufacturer tags, were still attached to the arm and lapel. When my wife pointed that out Deborah she incredulous, and she said "You must be a smoker, and worn it while smoking because you got ashes all over the coat -I can't accept this -it's damaged" (neither my wife or I are smokers, and when Melissa told her this Deborah didn't believe her and scoffed) my wife was very upset and embarrassed by this time, and offered to take the coat and leave... she specifically said that she would come back when there was someone else to assist her. When Deborah heard this she said that SHE was trying to assist her and asked my wife for the new coat that we wanted to exchange for the small one. Deborah stated "Can't you tell this isn't even the same coat; it's not even the same material -you can't tell that?" to further degrade my wife. At which point my wife asked for the coat back and started to leave when Deborah said that she would refund the original coat and asked for the receipt -which was linked to my Wife's reward account. When Melissa told her this Deborah said "you don't even have the receipt?!" and began arguing with my wife about whether it could be returned using the Rewards account number, which we had done in the past. Eventually one of the other nearby Customer Service Agents told Deborah "Yes you can do that" and educated Deborah on how. I am sorry I don't have all the complete details about the encounter but I wasn't present. I will say that for my wife to say we are never shopping at Kohl's again it had to be pretty bad. We were so happy when that store opened in Grove City and have been shopping there ever since, it's where we basically buy all our clothing for our family of 5. I know that the loss of our spending would never impact anything to a big company, but I wanted to take the time to let you know about the event and make you aware of how this Sales Associate is treating people who have issue or returns of products. It is a significant the lapse in the level of service we have always enjoyed in your store in the past in the infrequent times there have been issues with an item. read more

Great Kohls it is clean and we'll organized. I love this Kohls location I have bought Clothes here many times. The location is in a nice plaza in Grove City Ohio. The staff is always willing to help. My mom bought me a fitbit here. I love it. The return policy at this location is also nice and easy to return items. The stuff here/the clothes are nicely organized and nicely priced. Boo... Sales associates here are awful. We tasked one with a pretty simple task of helping us find a size in shoes. She was not happy about having to do the job (why?! You work here?! Do your job and we were super nice to her). Then she scanned and was like- oh ya we should have that size here. We said, ok great thanks where? She was like- they should be here somewhere and walked away. So we looked couldn't find so grabbed another one to see if she could find them at another store. This one wasn't rude but she was as helpful as the other one and said- what store? So we said- Morse Road, she immediately says, "that one closed" so we were surprised and said, "whow that's crazy the one at Morse and Hamilton? We were just there!" She goes, "Oh, that one... I'll check" we also said really anywhere in Columbus , she checked and said, nope they are out of the 8.5 everywhere sorry you'll have to go home and order them online. The VERY next day we happened to be near Morse and Hamilton so we stopped in to see if they had any others I might like, my husband and I split up and guess what! We both met up in the middle of the show section holding. G exact shoe in an 8.5!!! I was like- I found one! He's like? Ya? I found one too! And they had 2 of them over there in your size! Seriously?? I don't write this review so customers will be discouraged to shop there, because if they have what u need in the lowest price then of course you'll go there. But the purpose of this review is for management and corporate Khol's. Wake up it's 2017, Macy's is shutting a couple hundred stores you guys will be next if you don't figure out your s**t. read more

Kohl's.....wow...I really used to love Kohl's but....as a person who has spent hundreds....no thousands of dollars at Kohl's over the past several years I think I'm DONE. Today I found $33 in expired Kohl's Cash for some items I returned. I'm a busy working woman...this Kohl's Cash expired a week ago...I had no idea. I called asking if I could come in today and use it. I was told NO. Sorry about your luck....you lost that money. How is that fair to me their loyal customer? A customer who like I said has spent a lot of money at Kohl's. Wedding registries, Christmas, you name it....I have went to Kohl's first. But....I shop at Amazon also and now....probably Amazon...(God...even Walmart) will be my go to before I shop at Kohl's. You see...once you treat a woman like me like crap....I don't keep coming back for more. I'm not that kind of woman. I'm the kind of woman that tells her friends and associates. And .... I'm the kind of woman that isn't surprised when I see stores like Sears, JCPenney and likely soon Kohl's suffering because of Amazon. Remember CUSTOMER SERVICE?
