However, it's sad to say that their customer service has really gone downhill. The last couple times I have been in to the Grandview location. The staff has been extremely rude and unwelcoming. Just today, I went in there this morning to get a dress for my daughter's birthday party this weekend. The woman could have cared less that I was in the store. She seemed irritated that I was asking questions about some of the dresses that were being shown on the mannequins. This type of customer service does not make me want to shop at the store. It's disappointing. Also, their sizes have gotten smaller. I feel as the years have gone on. I've always been pretty true to size, a large normally always fits. But I feel like the largest keep getting smaller. I'm still happy to go in there and buy HomeGoods because they are very well bought and very good quality. But, when I'm treated with such rudeness, it makes me not want to go into the store.

The clothes are curated based on the staff selections and I love that. I've never visited the shop in Polaris until recently. I was shopping around for Christmas gifts and noticed they had a 50% off sale going on. It was too good to pass up, so I took a look around. I was surprised to find several items that I just HAD TO HAVE! After grabbing up my findings and heading to the dressing rooms in the back, I knew I was about to spend some cash. The staff was crazy friendly, offering to grab me different sizes and giving me the boost of confidence I needed on a couple of items. I knew they looked great, but I needed some reassurance. It was much appreciated. I was jazzed to find a beautiful red dress, a fabulous blouse, and a sequined skirt. All items were must-haves and I left with an extra pep in my step, excited for a reason to get all dolled up. On top of great clothes, Francesca's also has beautiful jewelry, shoes, and an assortment of fun gift items. Great bags, candles, heck sometimes you can even find home goods like art and wine glasses. 5-star experience for sure.

I've been here on slow days and busy days so there can be 3-7 visible employees. If items are ordered online they can be returned in store. The policy has changed regarding returns. They have to be done in a 30-day window, or if the order was placed on a Lane Bryant credit card, it's extended to 45-days. The best time to shop is when the new clothing season starts for a greater selection of merchandise. The second best time is when you need something. If you like something but they don't have it in the size you need, they will see if it's available online or in another location.

The short payment was not reflected on my next statement and when I called to inquire why I received a bill for $24.51 the customer service rep said it was an error and they would credit my account. Note, the rep never mentioned the 0.36 short payment. Next statement arrives showing a balance of $27.23, I called, the customer service rep says it is a late charge from the $24.51 and will be credited. Again, the short payment of $0.36 was never mentioned. Today I receive a bill for $56.36! Once again I call, the rep says it is 2 months of late charges and interest on the short payment of $0.36 I originally made! The rep was nice enough to waive the late charges - but said I still owed $4.00 plus the 36 cents I short paid two months ago! The rep said there was no way they could intercept the computer and waive the $4.00. That's hard to believe! I paid the $4.36 in protest (1,111.11% interest is a little steep!) Talk about ripping people off! I have cancelled my account, suggested to my family and friends they do the same! The salesperson was super nice and patient with me (I'd literally never bought trousers from Torrid before), and then left me alone to try on the things I picked up, which is basically my perfect shopping experience. The store is getting up there in age a bit, I'm guessing... it could use a paint job and the sales rack is always slightly messy, but in the grand scheme of things, that's really not a problem. The location is great, easy to get to, and lets me run a bunch of errands at once, which is always great.

In that time, I have gotten to know the brand really well. I can tell you from tons of experience that their clothing will go out of style long before it ever falls apart. The items are very well made and will hold up to everyday wear. This brand has done a lot for the plus size clothing industry. Torrid was one of the first brands to start making truly trendy clothing for plus size girls, for that reason, Torrid will always be my favorite clothing store. Upon entering a Torrid store location, you will be greeted by a sales associate who typically introduces themselves and asks if you need any assistance, etc. They will offer to start a fitting room for you. They'll then write your name on the door and begin hanging items in the fitting room for you. Some fitting rooms have fans with a control switch on the wall-this is awesome in the summer months. The staff really goes out of their way to make you feel like their customers are important. This location is one of my favorites. The staff has always been so nice and the store is always neat and well kept.

Come to find out Kate Spade only offers 30 days for any returns or exchanges..... needless to say both my husband and I were shocked about this. My husband and I always buy designer purses and wallets because of the warranty and customer service that comes with it. The manager was Nice enough to let me exchange however what I picked out was $100 less than the original item and she was not Willing to refund my husbands CC. Now I get it if I came in 90 days after date of purchase or the tags weren't attached but that was not the case at all. And she wasn't willing to make the exception. When they brought in the cardigan that went fantastic with the dress I knew I was heading for a plastic meltdown so I politely asked for a card with the name of the dress on it and will go back when hopefully it is reduced some. But those pumps with the chunky heel and bow on the toe - SWOON!!!!

I ended up with a jacket, socks, and shirt for about half what I would have spent on a jacket at Men's Wearhouse, and since I only wear them once a year or so that's just right. Service was great from several staffers. Prices are great. I scoped the kid's section and was impressed, didn't get to the women's area, did notice plenty of men's casual wear up front.
