I would definitely recommend this Lane Bryant location--it was worth the trip. I went in needing help finding a well-fitted bra and had such a great experience. The staff was kind and welcoming, and Albert (I hope I have his name right!) truly stood out. He was knowledgeable, patient, and made what can sometimes feel like an uncomfortable process very easy and relaxed. He took the time to make sure everything fit properly, and it made such a difference. I left feeling so much more comfortable and confident. It was also a nice surprise to find some great sales on bras, panties, and other summer attire. If you feel you are hard to fit when it comes to bras, I definitely recommend asking for Albert. I received a Christmas gift from lane Bryant with a Receipt. Item was too big I am a size 10 it is a size 14 to 16. I have never shopped at lane Bryant so I was returning it and to my dismay it turned out to be a whole ordeal. I just asked for it to be put to a gift card so I could pass it on to someone who could use it. Low and behold I was told that they don't refund the money's in cash or in a gift card,I did not ask for cash since this was a gift. They asked me if I wanted to look around the store for something else and no offense the store is matronly and there was nothing in there that would fit me all the sizes were too large. The sales person was nice and that's not the issue the fact that this was a Christmas gift it should have went to a gift card, so that I could either pass it on or keep it indefinitely. This is terrible customer serviceI, I was not offer for the amount to go back to the buyers account, like all other normal retail stores. The only option was to open up an account and get "instore" credit. They printed a flimsy paper receipt and this is my document of "in store credit." So, when you come back you would have to give your phone number "account number" to redeem it. None of this is customer friendly! Having to set up some type of account then they made it where it has to be in store. As if, just in case you stoled the item with a receipt in a Christmas bag. I don't come into that store, that would never be a store of my choice. The outcome of this transaction was horrible and unexceptable. I would give 0 stars if possible- worst customer service. They seem to be more into each others conversations than helping customers. Never ever returning again. Unfortunately this was my first ever visit and It left a sour taste in my mouth. I wish I would have seen the reviews before coming in - seems like a consistent disappointment in customer service from other customers as well. read more

Sigh.... I really come here because I hate going to the mall and they have bigger changing rooms. It really frustrates me how they really don't provide customer service until you get to the cash register. It takes forever just trying to get a person's attention to unlock a changing room. It is so nice to have a Lane Bryant open up in Lakewood! Before opening I was driving to Puyallup or Federal Way to go shopping. The store is in a good location and is a reasonable size. Once walking in the layout feels inviting and everything is sectioned off pretty well. I usually dread shopping at Lane Bryant because they're usually very expensive, but I always wait when they have a good sale or coupons and at the right time you can really get a really great deal! I wish the clearance section was a little bit bigger with a better variety like it is in other locations. I have also noticed that if I go in on a weekend it's really hard to find cute styles in my size. A few times I have gone in on a weekend the only size they had was the smallest size possible! The sales woman said it was because the shipment would come in with 10 of the smallest size and only one or two in the bigger sizes... uhhhh, that's pretty poor inventory if you ask me. The last time I was in I talked to the manager and she said they get their shipment in on Wednesday so the best times to get the best inventory will be on Thursday or Friday mornings.... good to know. For the most part I really like this store, probably because it's only 5 minutes away! But the staff have been really friendly and I was able to get a bra fitting the last time and man it's crazy how a bra can actually be comfortable when you're wearing the correct size lol. If the store doesn't have something my size the staff always offer to call another store or order it online for me. I remember the reason I stopped shopping at LB. First off, expensive. Second, while the store staff are nice, it is very slow. Lastly, I returned items ($$) and it never showed up on my account 2 months later, still waiting, and I can't find the return receipt. I called LB, no answer. Waited a few hours. Ordered package to be delivered there. 3rd time to pick up. Location is good. Staff isn't great. Someone always busy when no one else is in there, rude, not helpful, bad attitude for customer service. So I ordered another package as this location is on my way home from work. It was delivered n signed for by K. Karen, customer service said it was signed, and automatic phone call by location should've been made. Nope. 3 days waitinh. They explained email goes out if the personnel there log it in. Nope. I call, get Kendra...spritely but rude person on the phone who copped attitude as I asked about my packages that arrived 3days ago. She puts me on hold to check and says no one calls customers. BS. Every lane bryant, once fashion bug, Catherine's all call from this company. Then she said email automatically goes out. I explained that's not how it works as once pckg received the staff must plug it into computer that it's arrived then we will get email but in case they didn't get trained well, and, a call is made. I hate that I am only giving them 3 stars. I go here a lot and normally the girls are great! Which is why after last night they are not getting one star. I normally really enjoy coming here. well last night I went with my friend to return some clothes she bought a couple days ago.....and the lady we got stuck with.......Kimberley.....she was just awful! Very rude and you could tell she just didn't want to have to deal with us (Do her job) I started looking around to see if I was in Walmart.......that's how bad her customer service was! but as soon as the manager walked out of the back room It was like 2 completely different people! Her attitude changed she was super nice gave us extra real woman dollars and I was going to buy a couple tanks they were buy one get one half off......I really only wanted one but was going to get 2 because of the sale and she told me I didn't have to buy both I could buy one and she would give me half off......hmmmm kinda weird and if I walk in there again and she is there I will probably leave and go to a different Lane Bryant.......I have NEVER been treated that way EVER in a Lane Bryant before.
